27What an amazing place to visit. We were greeted by Ramon who spoke very good English and made us very welcome. They offer free parking for motorhomes as well as drinking water and grey waste disposal. Our free tour was arranged with Santi who also spoke very good English and made us feel at home. Fabulous tour and great explanation of how the Cava is made. Tasted some wonderful Cava as well as sampling the olive oil with bread and meat. No hard sell what so ever, A wonderful evening thanks to the team at Artcava.
We had a wunderful winetasting evening with Santiago on Artcava yesterday. Our nice and gentle guide Santiago taught us all about Cava and a lot about Spain. I can only say thank you and.perfecto, muy bien, multo bene, grazie mille.
Absolutely loved this experience! Ramon was lovely and very knowledgeable! The cava was delicious and rustic lunch as well. 10/10 banger of a place!
Had a wonderful time visiting Artcava, learning about the Penedes wine region, and tasting cava. Our group caught the train from Barcelona to Lavern - Subirats where we were picked up and taken to the vineyards and cava cellar. It really is a beautiful area with Montserrat off in the distance. We could even see the snow covered Pyrenees further north. All four of us enjoyed our tour of the vineyard, and walk through the cellar. We had a great time tasting the various styles of cava, trying the olive oil, and hearing their story. I would love to get the chance to return sometime.
Wonderful experience on our trip to Barcelona. Easy access from Barcelona via train/pickup. Very friendly people and good cava!
My wife and I did a tour, tasting and lunch at ARTCAVA and had an incredible experience. Our guide, Ramon, was fun, knowledgeable and kind. The property is in a beautiful historic site, and they serve cava for every type of palette. We could not believe how affordable the tour was, and we definitely recommend adding the lunch onsite! It was the freshest meal we had during our stay in Catalunya.
Amazing experience! We had the opportunity to only have our guide Ramon for our selves. He was an amazing guide and made the experience 10/10! Very nice to talk to and very passionate about his job! His enthusiasm spread joy!
The visit was a bit longer than advertised, something which we enjoyed since we loved every second of it!
The tasting was great, especially since it was only the three of us (including Ramon). We had the opportunity to taste 5 different Cavas! All different from one another.
The house where the visit takes place has a lot of history and makes the visit just slightly more passionate and exciting!
We booked our visit with the lunch. It was great and felt as if it was prepared by our guide Ramon himself. Equally passionate about food and culture as for cava! The food was fresh and as we sat for lunch and enjoyed the moment, we still had questions and almost wished he would be there with us so that we would ask him and hear him speak about his passion.
Overall a great, personalised, and passionate visit. The staff is what makes this special!
