A cozy and inviting atmosphere is the way to describe this small square in the neighborhood of Gracia. One of the most popular places to see if you are there and if you are searching for a calmer, less touristy place to have drinks or lunch. Also, way safer than other more touristy neighborhoods such as El Born or Eixample.

El barrio de gracia es muy conocido por la cantidad de hippie perroflautas que suelen quedar y en verano no hay un hueco para sentarse ni en el suelo ya que es donde se sientan habitualmente.

Un paso obligado tomarse algo en l esta plaza del barrio emblemático de Gracia, pero solo hasta las 23 h es posible sentarse en la plaza
Es una plaça de Gràcia molt animada. De dia esta be per prendre alguna cosa. Al vespre es converteix en una plaça de botellon. Però sont persones respectuoses i nosaltres quan pasem per alla mai hem tingut cap problema. En un lateral hi ha una escultura d"un crisol. (al·legoria del sol,).

Nice, friendly and cozy atmosphere! Hard to find a table - we had to split up and watch 6+ places waiting for some company to leave, and then convince others that were doing the same thing to claim the table.
Una plaza que desgraciadamente ha apostado por dejar que prolifere el ambiente de botellón. Sin respetar el descanso de los vecinos. Es una pena que no se valorice de otra manera.
Es una de les places amb mes terraces de la Vil-la de Gracia. Segur que hi podras fer des de un vermut fins a una cervesa
Great atmosphere. A few bars that will provide beer, or a great little store on the corner that offers up over 100 beers from so over the world. Grabbed a couple of Polish beers with a buddy and has a seat in the place (with a few hundred other people). Great place.
If you want to get a way from the hustle and bustle it tourist life in Barcelona, then come to Plaza del Sol. It can get busy, but its busy with locals. The small neighborhood of Gracia, hosts some of the most enjoyable, fun mini-excursions, filled with beautiful pop-up shops, bars, and gelato.
Bars are okay. Prices are pretty standard. Standard tapas. But between the gypsies, junkies, the unfriendly local racist independentists, the Pick pockets, the screaming kids kicking football's at the tables and the pungent smell of weed, it's worth a miss. Buy an artisan beer from the bodega and walk on.
