Balmoral Hotel, Barcelona

Hotel muy bonito, alojamiento moderno y confortable. ¡Encantador desayuno! Súper cerca de las principales atracciones y de Las Ramblas. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y seguro que volveré.

Para mí algo importante es la cama, y la que me ha tocado era perfecta, una gran sensación de descanso, habitación muy bien insonorizada, gimnasio bien surtido y con depósito de agua para hidratarse, el servicio muy amable y atento, todo genial

No puedo recomendar este hotel lo suficiente si buscas un hotel súper amigable, con una ubicación increíble, cómodo y de alta calidad. El personal aquí hizo todo lo posible por mí y mi pareja, ofreciéndonos mucha orientación y ayuda cuando la necesitábamos y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Tuvimos un maravilloso desayuno cada mañana y siempre nos saludaron con una sonrisa por parte del personal de recepción.
La habitación estaba impecable y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda y memorable, ¡sin mencionar que teníamos una vista increíble!
¡Lo que hizo que este viaje fuera aún más especial fue regresar el sábado por la noche después de que mi pareja me propuso matrimonio! Tomamos vino en la habitación y bocadillos, estaba muy limpio y ordenado. Este viaje ha sido realmente inolvidable y definitivamente regresaremos a este maravilloso hotel. Nuevamente gracias a todo el increíble personal por hacer que nuestra estadía fuera tan maravillosa.

¡Cerca de la mayoría de las atracciones! Habitaciones amplias, limpias y cómodas, gran servicio y personal servicial. Definitivamente regresaré y lo recomendaré.

Alojado una noche y súper bien, la habitación está muy bien distribuida, con un mega espejo en la puerta del baño.

Una magnífica experiencia. Un trato fabuloso por parte del personal del hotel. Un edificio muy céntrico con todo el encanto de la Barcelona histórica. Muy recomendable para gozar de un ambiente muy cuidado.

Great location for main sights. Underground nearby and we walked to most but not option if elderly. Service were very helpful with tickets. Room was very clean and modern. Fantastic breakfast bag when we had an early start. All in all great hotel for a short stay in an absolutely stunning city.

Balmoral is located in a decent area, not the best, but good enough. The rooms are not too special, and keeping its price in mind, the rooms can be described as subpar. The main reason for the low rating, is the inconsistency of the staff’s communication. I needed laundry service performed, and specifically asked the gentleman at the front desk, about when I could receive my washed attire, and he said with absolute certainty that it would be prior to my checkout time, but once I took all of the clothing out of my bag and separated them and had them inserted into the laundry bag, post giving them a call about my clothes being ready to be washed, I was told that I would be receiving them in the afternoon at the earliest. I would be in the sky at that point and receiving them in the afternoon wasn’t very practical. And the representative’s unwillingness to salvage the situation, really soured things up. He was very firm on his responses and seemed somewhat hostile. I don’t think I will be back in Balmoral anytime soon, and considering my experience, I would probably tell others to fully know their needs prior to booking a room at this hotel.

Well located. Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was really good. And the best of all was the service I received from the front desk lady. She was extremely friendly, she took care of all my needs and gave me the best suggestions to get around.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.
The room is spacious, they even have an iron inside the closet. The breakfast is being served every day with fresh igredients. The service is exeptional; every staff member was fully dedicated. The hotel is situated in a very good location, near La Rambla and Parc Guell. I would absolutely reccomend it!

We came here to see Barcelona and chose this hotel because it’s near the mail street and close to main tourist destinations and rooms are quite nice, simple but nice. And the first day was normal except the fact that TV didn’t work which they promised to fix next day and we lived both I and my sister and had all things like toothbrush only for 1 person, but the second day after walking we came and saw that the room was dirty and no renew tea and TV still didn’t work. Next morning nothing changed and in the morning breakfast everything smelled like fish (omelette, potatoes and even watermelon with fish taste)

Au calme, chambres confortables, bon petit déjeuner et pas loin des stations de métro ou des points d'attraction à pied. Personnel top!

I don’t recommend this hotel! We had a very unfortunate situation happen to us at the Balmoral hotel. Whilst we enjoyed our room and the location of the hotel, we were really let down by the team. The parking at the hotel was very expensive (€27 a day) and we paid for 3 nights. When paying this much, you expect your car to be in safe hands and to be supported by the hotel. However, when leaving, we noticed that there was a deep scratch on the side of our door - it was clearly hit by a nearby car’s door. We kindly asked the hotel to check cameras and alerted them to this, however their response was that there is nothing they can do. We inspected and took photos of our car before parking and after, and therefore it is evident that our car was hit in this parking lot. We are very disappointed by this treatment of the guests of the hotel. If we are required to pay this much for secure parking, then the hotel should control the safety of our car. We received no financial compensation and didn’t even get a refund for parking. It is a shame because the hotel itself was decent, but this was a big problem. Further, the rooms have very thin walls in between them and I was kept awake in the night due to my neighbours’ childrens and TV. I will now be retracting all my recommendations to friends regarding this hotel and we will not be staying here due to this lack of good treatment. I recommend you don’t choose this hotel if you have a car as you will be left without any support should anything happen.

Todo genial ubicación muy buena y el personal muy atento eso si no recomiendo el servicio externo que tienen para room service comida fría y nada rica

Espero no volver a este hotel. Menos mal que tienen cuatro estrellas, si llegan a tener menos no sé qué hubiera pasado, a lo mejor me quedaba durmiendo en la calle:
- La reserva la hizo una compañera, a través de la herramienta de la empresa pedimos al hotel que me añadieran en la misma habitación para reducir gastos.
- Tuve que avisar como tres veces por teléfono (llamé varias veces antes de llegar para comprobar que todo estaba bien) y luego lo repetí varias veces cuando llegué al hotel. En el checkin no se aclaraban, no sé muy bien por qué.
- Me cobraron una noche que supuestamente ya estaría pagada porque fue mi compañera quien hizo la reserva del hotel y luego yo avisé para compartir la habitación.
- La tarjeta-llave de la puerta de la habitación se desimantaba todos los días.
- Me cobraron la tasa turística mal y tuve que pagarla en varios pagos.
- Parecen no aclararse con su propio sistema informático, para cualquier cosa tardaban una barbaridad.
Pero, tranquilos, que no todo era horrible. La habitación estaba bien y había un par de recepcionistas especialmente amables (los de tarde-noche) y sobre todo, fueron los únicos que me solucionaron los problemas. El desayuno, típico de hotel, ni bien ni mal. Igualmente, espero no volver a tener experiencia con este hotel.

Muy bien situado, cerca de las 2 zonas comerciales de más Nivel de Barcelona. Requiere una reforma urgente, especialmente en su comedor que resulta claustrofóbico, y con poca ventilación.

Las habitaciones, especialmente las que dan a patio interior, resultan pequeñas, sucias y mal ventiladas.

Desayuno francamente Mejorable.

Location is good, a bit of a walk to Ramblas and gothic area, good to get the appetite going and walking it off after. Good size rooms, very clean and staff excellent. Breakfast is super. Would definitely recommend as the prices are competitive compared to many hotels.
