Barcelona Day Tours

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how wonderful our day in Barcelona and Montserrat was. Our day exceeded expectations. The pick up from the port was prompt and the day included sites that were very comprehensive. It was a full day of 8 hours and the tour guide was very knowledgeable, pleasant and thoughtful. The van was very comfortable and the driver did a great job in driving cautiously (which often is not the case with some companies). We were dropped off at our hotel, as promised. The day went off without a hitch due to their competence.

Throughout the course of choosing and setting up several tours with Spain Day Tours the company was prompt in answering all of my questions, and were very patient with my many mistakes. They were always extremely courteous and helpful.

I had complete confidence in this company and highly recommend them. If they were to branch out to other countries throughout Europe I would use them exclusively.

Highly recommend using them for any and all exploration. From pick up at airport, to all day tour in Barcelona, to air port drop off…. Absolutely amazing! So much knowledge and great recommendations for where to go, see, eat, etc. We had Christopher (Chris the German) and he was amazing!

We have been to Barcelona about 3 or 4 times and have enjoyed it so much that we extended our cruise to share this wonderful city with our daughter and grandson. We hired tour guides through Spain Day Tours, as we’ve used this company successfully on past visits. Over three days, we experienced:

Once again, Spain Day Tours has come through for us; giving us the best possible understanding of their wonderful country, and Barcelona. Their management was very patient, understanding, professional and worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. The tour was awesome! Our tour guide was phenomenal. Her knowledge of the history and architecture and local customs far surpassed anything we were expecting. She was an expert at bringing things to life w interesting stories and tidbits of facts! I would def recommend her and the tour anytime. The bus was clean, safe and air conditioned. I felt the driver really had our safety in mind. All in all one of the best tours we had in our 3 weeks over there.

We recently went on the eight hour Montserrat and Barcelona tour. Marta was an outstanding guide. Knowledgeable and passionate about the history and stories of Catalan. This was beyond expectations. The art and views at Montserrat. The architecture of Gaudi and others that shaped the gorgeous buildings and sites in Barcelona. The views of the port. All capped off at Sagrada Familia. What a day! I can’t thank you enough for the incredible introduction to this wonderful area of Spain. I highly recommend this tour and this company.

Gina was an amazing guide. Very informative and was able to explain things clearly and with a comedic flair. We had a great time on our tour and would highly recommend this tour to all our friends and family who are planning on visiting Barcelona. Our driver was also very professional.

Great company with knowledgeable guides.
We had a superb experience seeing what the city offered and then up to the monastery to hear the boy's choir.
We finished the day with a prepaid tour of the Gaudi cathedral that allowed us to spend as long as we wanted.for us it was until closing.
I highly praise this company for the professional attitude they took before, during and after our trip.

Our family and friends of 14 did 3 full days of tours with Joe and the experience was outstanding! We visited Montserrat with an Art Cava tour, Girona and Sitges and finally the Dali museum in Figueres and Tarragona. They allowed us complete flexibility and tailored the tours to our interests. The price was excellent and the ride was pristine. Must do!

Exceptional! My family and I, a group of 6 with ages ranging from early 20s to early 70s, arrived to Barcelona after a cruise for a 6 day stay. We used Barcelona Day Tours previously for a private trip to Montserrat and were extremely satisfied. We were in contact with Mark from Barcelona Day Tours who was professional, courteous, helpful, and insightful. Within 24 hours, he was able to arrange a private trip to Figueres Dalí Museum and the city of Girona. Our driver, Alex, arrived at our hotel precisely on time. I cannot say enough to describe how happy we are with the level of service Alex provided. We have never encountered a more informative, well-versed, friendly individual in our travels. He made sure to provide us with as much information about anything and everything pertaining to Catalonia and all the sites we passed along the way as possible. The vehicle was an impeccably clean and comfortable Mercedes van. The tour of the Dalí Museum and Girona was fabulous. We are all grateful to Mark for allocating the time and attention to our needs and ensuring the best possible experience. In our opinion, Barcelona Day Tours should be at the top of your list when making your travel plans!

Everything was great from beginning to end. Communication was prompt, friendly and clear as we created a customized tour. All questions were thoughtfully answered. Our guide, Xavier, was passionate and a wealth of information concerning Gaudi, architecture, Barcelona history and culture. The Mercedes mini-van was comfortable and the driver very familiar with the roads. Xavier was also very accommodating and willing to modify our itinerary on the fly. Highly recommend this tour group!

I had a wonderful time on a day tour with Marta around Barcelona and Montserrat. The weather was perfect for a day of walking and driving. This company communicated great information prior to the day of the tour so the experience was seamless. I appreciated being picked up at my hotel.

After our recent cruise that ended on Oct 12, my husband and I extended our stay in Barcelona. We had contacted Barcelona Day Tours well before the cruise to help us maximize our 2 day stay in Barcelona. We decided on a city tour with "skip the line" tickets to La Segrada Familia and also a dinner and Flamenco show. Our city tour guide, Elena, was fantastic; so knowledgeable and fun! The tour was well run and the van was very comfortable. And we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner/Flamenco show. We would highly recommend Barcelona Day Tours! They are great to work with - from booking and through the tours.

We were delighted with Barcelona Day Tours! I have to be honest, Barcelona was not high on my "gotta visit here" list, but Christina's enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge changed that. Firstly, all communication prior to our cruise with Anna was quick, concerned and relevant. It was easy to connect with the guide as we left the port terminal. The Barcelona City Tour was excellent! I learned so much! And I fell in love with the city. The time spent at Parc Guell was delightful and the details of La Sagrada Familia are breathtaking. I would definitely consider another visit to Barcelona, for sure!

We enjoyed our day tour of Barcelona and Montserrat despite the demonstrations
that caused some route changes and the inability to see Park Guell.
Our tour leader was friendly and knowledgeable and expressed herself clearly in
English.

We booked Barcelona half day tour and airport transportation. Everything went so well and smoothly. We were 6 people on a Mercedes van and the driver. It seems like a private group but paid for group rate. Great service. The tour guide took us around on the half day tours is very knowledgeable. She told us a lots about the city. After 5 hours tours drop us off at the cruise terminal. Which is great we don’t need to figure out how to get there. I would highly recommend Barcelona tours. Great service.

We had a great experience with Barcelona Day Tours. We had a private car and were picked up from the airport. Ricardo was fantastic and brought us to all the sites we were hoping to see. I would recommend this service to anyone visiting Barcelona!
