Barcelona Day Trip

Barcelona Day Trip was an amazing experience! We did the kayaking and snorkeling tour and it was awesome!
On top of that, Tim was super helpful, I forgot some of my belongings there and he helped me to recover it in no time. I’m really grateful and for sure I’ll repeat the tour.

The experience was absolutely amazing and totally worth it. Overall it fun, adventurous and relaxing and would definitely do it again. Tim, our leader, was fantastic and was super friendly and outgoing, helping us with whatever we needed. We got to see beautiful sights and had great laughs. Would totally recommend to anyone… this is experience is a must for both locals and tourists. 100/10

En nuestro viaje por Barcelona (mi prometido y yo) buscamos una actividad que pudiéramos realizar en el mar. Practicar Kayak fue la mejor opción que encontramos y así fue como conocimos "Barcelona Day Trip" y a su propietario y guía Tim.

Tim nos recogió a las 11 am en su van a unos metros de la puerta del triunfo en Barcelona. Apesar de que su cupo era para ocho personas, de las cuales seis cancelaron a último minuto por temas de salud. Sin embargo, él decidió emprender su tour con solamente dos personas, mi novio y yo. Con este gesto nos demostró su gran compromiso y responsabilidad con su compañía y sus clientes!
Viajamos en la van una hora y treinta minutos (era sábado y el tráfico se intensifica), pero el tiempo estuvo bajo control.
Llegamos a la playa (St. ***) y la primera impresión fue magnífica! Aguas cristalinas, azules y un vista preciosa de arquitectura y naturaleza. Tuvimos el tiempo para prepararnos para la aventura. Pudimos dejar nuestro objetos personales en un lugar seguro y partir con los objetos que nos ayudarían en el mar: chaleco, gafas, botellita de agua, remos y kayak! Por su parte Tim llevo nuestros refrigerios (un sandwich delicioso) y una cámara resistente al agua con la que nos tomaría fotos y/o videos en el camino.
A la 1 de la tarde emprendimos en el kayak, sin experiencia logramos seguir a nuestro guía, en realidad la coordinación y la comunicación entre las dos personas que estén en el kayak es lo único indispensable para lograr hacer el recorrido. Tim conoce muy bien el lugar y seguimos sus indicaciones de cuando y donde navegar. En el recorrido vimos lugares maravillosos entre las rocas, varias cuevas, tuvimos la oportunidad de saltar desde 3 puntos diferentes al agua y además hacer snorkeling para observar la naturaleza marina. En mi caso, hice los saltos y snorkeling con el chaleco para sentirme más segura y de esa forma pude disfrutar con más tranquilidad. Tim nos contó algunas historias y mitos de algunos de los sitios en el recorrido. También fuimos más lejos que los demás kayak que habían en la zona, con esto puedo decir que el recorrido es un poco más largo y completo. Al regresar a la playa, obtuvimos de nuevo nuestras pertenecías y tuvimos al menos una hora para nadar, tomar algo y prepararnos para partir. A las 7 de la tarde estuvimos de nuevo en Barcelona en el mismo punto de partida y satisfechos de la linda experiencia. Tim muchísimas gracias por tu guía, fue de gran ayuda para nosotros. Esperamos que en el futuro tengas más actividades en otros lugares y poderte visitar de nuevo.

Tim, der sehr humorvolle und freundliche Reiseleiter, bringt euch an einen schönen Strand von dem aus die Tour entlang der Küste beginnt. Dabei seht ihr wunderschöne Buchten, die nur vom Wasser aus erreichbar sind, könnt von Felsen aus ins klare Wasser springen und beim Schnorcheln die Tierwelt bewundern. Sehr empfehlenswerter Tagesausflug von Barcelona aus. Inklusive Essen und Shuttledienst jeden Cent wert!

Tim, your very friendly and funny tour guide takes you to a nice beach, from which you start the tour along the coast. You will see beautiful bays, which can only be reached from the sea, you can jump from rocks into the clear water and you can see the impressive bottom of the see while snorkeling. I really recommand this day trip starting from Barcelona. You get a whole day, transfer and food. It is worth each cent!

I did a day trip to Costa Brava with Tim. It was very nice experience. We did kayaking, snorkeling and cliff jumping. The place was beautiful and Tim made the trip funny and enjoyable.

It was an absolute pleasure to take this tour with Tim! He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic and took us on the best tour one could wish for. The water was gorgeous and the time on the water was well worth the price along with the lunch and the Go Pro videos and pictures we were able to take!

My wife and I had an incredible experience with Barcelona Day Trip. It was our first time visiting Spain and our Kayaking trip couldn't have gone better! Tim was very responive to our questions prior to the journey, and we had a blast from the moment he picked us up. The drive to Costa Brava lets you see the beautiful Spanish countryside, and we had great music and conversation on the way. Once there Tim arranged everything to make our trip as seamless as possible. After going over basic safety and kayaking instructions we set off on what was easily my favorite part of our entire trip. The Mediterranean is more beautiful than I imagined, and Tim takes you on a neat tour of the coastline that included snorkeling, some cave exploration, a little cliff diving and background and history of the area. We felt completely safe and comfortable with Tim as our guide and would 100% go again.

Where do we start it was an excellent day out. I couldn’t recommend this more to anyone visiting/living in the Barcelona area. Our tour guide Tim was a top guy and made the experience really fun for my friends and I.

Had an amazing time, we did our tour with Tim and had so much fun. We went cliff diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. The lunch sandwiches were very good and i believe they have vegetarian options as well. He picked us up close to our hotel and dropped off at the end. 5/5 would recommend, I had to fight off the urge to do a tour everyday of my trip.
