Very noisy in the evening due to the fun fair right outside but once you get past that, the food is lovely and service is great too!

We showed up without a reservation on an August night around 7: 00 pm. The hostess never smiled, never looked up, never said a word. We waited 10 minutes in silence. We were then lead upstairs to a nice, mostly empty, multi-story restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the marina, but we were sat indoors. The view, though obstructed, was still beautiful and I was determined to be relaxed and to let my New York attitude have a rest, so I accepted our less than stellar table without a complaint. As the night went on I became a little annoyed though at the fact that the balcony remained almost entirely empty throughout our dinner. The service.an angry, distracted, disgruntled man showed up at our table and never looked us in the eyes, just stared off into the distance. We were hoping for some help with the menu but decided to just order the easy options, the salmon and the trout. When the waiter stepped away, my wife and I talked about how we should just leave, cancel our order before it is too late but we agreed to stay. I am sort of glad we stayed though because from that point on, everything improved. The grumpy guy was replaced with a nice, smiling guy. We got our complimentary bread plate with some sort of tomato based tapenade that was pretty good. Our salad and appetizers were delicious. The salmon and trout entrees were very fresh, simple and full of flavor. We decided to stay for dessert and coffee which was a nice ending. This restaurant is a 4-to 5-star experience that is brought down to a 3-star experience by the ridiculous and unprofessional attitude of a few people. Sadly, if you read through the reviews, this is not a rare occurrence. I do love the open kitchen which showed that at least the kitchen is filled with professional, hard-working people who take their careers seriously.
A bit touristy and pricy, this place welcomes you with a great menu, and professional staff that is as friendly as one can be dealing with tourists all day long.
The food is good. I had a paella when I went and I enjoyed it but it wasn’t one of the best I have had. I also find that a lot of their staff can be kind of snobby. There was one waiter who was very kind to my friend and I and another waiter started to be rude to him which I found very impolite when he was doing his job just fine. Actually, better than this other guy. It has a good location, right by the sea so if you can get a window table it is a beautiful view.
This is a safe bet. Food: choose whatever you want, it will be good. Service: very good. Try to book a table in the terrace closer to the harbour. In the last story, there are particular rooms that they can book for you if coming with a group.
A cozy little Sangria Bar with a great range of, well, Sangrias)
Best hummus I've eaten in a while. Also the raw food and the veganized paella is absolutely great, if a little pricy. But really worth your coin.
It is a tourist trap for sure. The paella is totally a bit expensive, but acceptable. But it tastes really salty. The rice is so hard and dry. It taste 0 seafood taste at all. The seafoods are few. You probably can count it by finger. It has 2 baby lobster and two shrimps, plus few squit pieces. Seafood may not be frozen but no high quality. I also order the wild seabass. It is just regular bass but selling high price as it said that is a wild. I saw the stuff taking 2-3 pieces for their dinner for free. The sangria.hmm.it is not my taste. I asked the white wine. It came a red one and again.the fruits is just like ice in the wine which make 0 enhancement for its flavor. The service is a joke. The waiters come and go like musical chair. The first came and asked me what drink I wanted but refused answer any questions related to menu. He was only for drink. Are you serious. After placing order. They will disappear. It is good if you want alone and enjoy the view. Don't except they will come with simile or ask if everything you eat is okay or not. They are gone. It could be my own fault as I ate it at 6pm. So most of them were rushing out for staff dinner before the dinner wave. The view is nice but the window view seat is limited. It is better to make reservations if you want to be sure. At the end, If you ask me, I will try to avoid this place. I rather to go McDonald's rather than come here. I made my mistake once. I hope you can avoid repeating my mistake
Wonderful dinner to end our stay in Barcelona. Ambience and service was superb. Evening started off with a complementary glass of cava. We all had the the seafood paella, which was done perfectly. The gazpacho was great. Highly recommended.
AVOID THIS PLACE!
The calamari was over salted and very tough, tuna tataki was cut incorrectly so each piece had a sinew layer through it.
Don’t order paella if you have a weak stomach - smells of decomposing fish, the waiter “Teo” then tried to charge us for 2 serves of paella and argued with us when we pointed out we only ordered one.
The profiteroles were soggy and tasteless.
PREPARE TO BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!
Wonderful service, with warm inviting staff. Had two great meals. We had a pop up rainstorm happen during the middle of the meal. The staff quickly closed everything off and we enjoyed a beautiful shower with excellent seafood.
Restaurante con buenas vistas al Puerto. Personal amable y servicial.
Total 116,50€
Dog's breakfast paella and a side of food poisoning - bad diarrhea from eating here! - served as seen in photo.
Ate here on my first night in Spain, first time in the country, wine was nice but food and service was a big disappointment, it is not worth the price or punishment. Paella reeked of old fish and tasted disgusting and have have had severe food poisoning since - ruined my holiday. The food looked better coming out of my guts than it was served on the plate.wish i had the read bad reviews first they are very accurate.
Hi tornarem aviat!
