Bodega Maestrazgo - Wine Shop, Wine Tastings & Wine Bar in Barcelona

Un sitio muy bueno para disfrutar con los amigos. Y del vino ni hablar, muy bueno todo y el trato estupendo.

El vino de las barricas excelente. Su propietario un experto en todo lo relacionado con el vino.

Wonderful place with great wines and absolutely the best jamón ibericó de bellota in Barcelona. Very friendly and professional staff and amazing atmosphere caused that we visited the place twice day by day despite the rain (we didn’t have an umbrella) As it was my birthday they served a glass of cava on the house. It was a very nice gesture. And, what’s more we received a long list of the best tapas bars and restaurants in Barcelona. Local not touristic ones so don’t hesitate and visit it while in Barcelona!

They do not let you taste the wine in the cask and the wine is awful. I know it is cheap but still you should let people taste to see if this is what they want. They do have good bottles of wine but they are greatly overpriced. Very rude people please Stay away, there are much better wine shops in Barcelona and even in el Born. Maybe they are better at wine tasting and food I just went to buy wine to take home.

Jose was fantastic! He shared wines and the history of Spanish wines with us. The meats/cheeses were a lovely complement. The vermouth was surprise, make sure you try it. There were four of us, two couples, and we loved the afternoon. HIghly recommend this shop. Be sure to plan ahead and have enough time to enjoy the shop.

A cozy spot in the Gothic Quarter with an great wine menu. If you are looking for a casual spot to enjoy some excellent wines along with cheese, olives, and other tapas, check this place out. The staff are really friendly, and knowledgeable about the wines they serve. Since this is also a wine shop, I was also able to buy a couple of bottles of my favorites from the tastings I did.

He leido en una contestación que es un negocio familiar, asi que me alegro la verdad, lo que es innegable es que esta orientado al turista, por lo que no les culpo ni mucho menos. Lo que quiero decir con eso es que no es lo que me esperaba a nivel de ambiente y precio, y no me refiero a que los locales solo tengamos que ir a cutreces llenas de tragaperras donde se sirva vinagre a precios populares, que al paso que vamos estos seran los unicos locales donde podremos ir.

Y definitivamente lo que me hace evaluarles asi es el precio. Aunque se diga en algun punto que el precio de las copas es de mercado y que es porque son vinos de autor o pequeño productor, no creo que sea asi sinceramente. Las copas son muy caras para lo que son y creanme que conozco muchos de los que tenian en cartel y fuera de el porque soy muy aficionado a este elixir, por eso entré. En cualquier caso si ese fuese el problema, afortunadamente españa es un pais rico en referencias muy buenas a precios mas que razonables donde sacarse margen. Tener una carta de copas donde la mas barata son 4€, no es de recibo si lo que se quiere es atraer al personal local. Por otro lado, se hace flaco favor si lo que se quiere es promocionar el vino y los pequeños productores de los que se habla. Por tanto: orientado a turistas.

En definitiva no lo recomiendo, aunque les deseo lo mejor y que continuen con la traficion familiar

Bodega típica donde encontrar cualquier vino de marca. Únicamente precios bastante caros. Personal antipático. Una pena, con otro talante, venderían más seguro.

If you love wine this is a must goto place in Barcalona. Very friendly staff with great knowledge of wine. They guide you to find the wine for you.
Normally we don't like white wine, but they found a very complex one, which was amazing!
Go for the board with meat and cheese. Perfect for a dinner:)

Got a glass of vermouth and a glass of white wine. White wine rec from the server was on point. We wanted to order more but were never approached again so we ended up leaving. Still giving it a high rating for ambience and drinks.

We go to Barcelona every year for a long weekend and this was hands down one of the best places we've been. I booked a wine tasting here for my husband's birthday and I can't rave enough about what a wonderful time we had. Misty was incredible- she knew so much about the wines, tailored them to what we liked as she got a feel for our individual tastes and made the experience so fun. She even let us ship the wines we liked back to London and made the whole process really seamless. We're already planning our next trip back to do this again!

We loved our visit to this authentic bodega. We did the wine tasting which was fantastic and a real learning experience) I booked it through TripAdvisor). Misty and Jose are fabulous hosts and really great fun! The atmosphere was great and everyone was having fun. You get to chose your own style of wines so not prescriptive like other tastings we have been on before. Jose knows Spanish wine inside out. Go hang out at Bodega Maestrazgo for a couple of hours, we will be there again the next we are in Barcelona! The area is really cool too. Lots of independent shops selling creative/design. Bodega clásica donde encontrarás gran surtido de vinos de poca producción. Sirven copas de vino de gran calidad, a buen precio. Y puedes acompañarlas con embutidos y quesos.

Fuimos a buscar unos vinos para la celebración de un cumpleaños, ibamos con una idea clara, aún así, nos dejamos recomendar y fue un éxito. El servicio es de los mejores que te puedes encontrar, te asesoran y aconsejan en un campo tan amplio como es el vino.
Los comensales quedaron encantados con el vino que nos llevamos, un Saltimbanqui y un verdejo! Sin duda volveré a ir!

Barcelona gold! My wife and I are not check box travelers, we eat and drink our way through cities because that is what true travel and immersive experiences are about. Lining up outside the Sagra Famiglia isn’t the way to experience Barcelona, although it’s very nice. This was one of our favourite experiences we’ve had on our many years of travelling through Europe. Take 2-3 hours in the afternoon and sit and enjoy. The woman who took care of us was lovely and a wonderful sommelier (Misty I assume based on other reviews). Just go.

We came in to this wine bar three nights in a row. We could not have had a better experience. We typically seek out variety and we found it in one place. We had wine flights catered to our preferences and an explanation of each wines terroir and grape. The owner was so nice. Simply fantastic place.
