Bodega Vasconia, Barcelona

Came here for the paella as we'd heard it was very good. We were not disappointed. After a short waiting time we were shown to our table (high table in the corner which was great as we had a view of the restaurant but also privacy) and we ordered drinks and patatas bravas to start. The patatas were exquisit, and the drinks nice too.
The paella takes a little while to make (this is the case everywhere) but was worth the wait. The seafood was fresh and the rice flavourful. The portion size we received was perfect for 2 people and we were full, but not overfed.
The lady who served us was quick, attentive and friendly and the gentleman (I think the owner?) also came to check on us a few times to see if we were happy. We were!
I would highly recommend avoiding the tourist traps of La Rambla and coming here instead for an authentic Spanish experience, in a cosy and beautiful setting.

Absolutely amazing. The seafood paella is delicious. There is usually a wait for a table but this is a good sign, its also frequented by the locals.

Ristorante fantastico, una "chicca" proprio quello che cerchiamo di solito simile alle nostre antiche "osterie". Si respira un'atmosfera sospesa nel tempo. Piatti tipici della cucina locale, un po' saporiti ma di ottimo livello. Piatti da noi consigliati: anchoas, patatas bravas (superrrr!), gambas al ajillo, rabo de toro, albondiga (wow!), per non parlare dei dolci trufas con nata e brownie (una sorpresa), ovvio sangria, sangria, sangria! Servizio gentile e puntuale. Consiglio: occorre prenotare con breve anticipo in quanto il locale è piccolo e dispone di pochi coperti.

Ottimo posto per mangiare davvero bene i piatti tipici, ambiente un po' trasandato ma molto accogliente e veramente simpatici e cordiali sia il titolare che lo staff!

Ottimo! Il miglior posto dove fare tapas a Barcellona, prodotti freschissimi e cucinati ad hoc, buonissimo el rabo de toro. Personale cortese e rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Sicuramente da provare e riprovare e riprovare.

Me pareció un muy buen lugar para probar las tapas, vienen muy bien servidas y a buen precio. El lugar es pequeño así que recomiendo ir en pareja o con pocos amigos, y llegar temprano si vas a cenar.

This place is so fun, friendly, and yummy. We're had patatas bravas con aioli. The steamed mussels were delish and padrone peppers were smoky and tasty. Highly recommend. A great neighborhood spot with locals. The bartender made sure we felt welcome. Thanks so much.

Innanzitutto, in serata nel dia della Catalogna se non hai le scorte resta chiuso che fai più bella figura.
Sangria allungata con il triple sec, e con più ghiaccio che frutta; paella tisica un po' bruciata un po' cruda, frutti di mare pochi.dato positivo bel ambiente familiare.

Ottimo ristorante per mangiare la paella, prezzi molto contenuti, in due abbiamo speso 50€ mangiamo calamari fritti, polpo alla catalana (lo consiglio) e paella, la sangria è molto buona.
Il locale è molto piccolo, consiglio di prenotare o arrivare presto.
