Brutal WaterSports Barcelona - Jet Ski Rental

Fui allí este año en julio y la experiencia fue agradable y todo, pero dejé mi depósito de 100 euros allí (con tarjeta, nunca debí haberlo hecho) y NUNCA lo recuperé. Ya es diciembre. Les envié un mensaje por whatsapp y simplemente dejaron de responder. Muy poco profesional en mi opinión.

A bunch of us recently decided to do something a bit different and try out jet skiing with Brutal WaterSports in Barcelona. Let me tell you, it was absolutely worth every penny.

We were lucky to get Daniel as our instructor, and I can't stress enough what a gem he is! Not only was he super chill and friendly, but he also knew his stuff. He walked us through everything we needed to know, ensuring we were ready and safe to hit the waves. Yet, he didn't hover or make us feel babied - he let us really enjoy our rides and have some fun.

The jet skis were amazing. They were in good nick, had plenty of grunt, and were super easy to handle. We booked 40 minutes each and honestly, I'd recommend going for a longer slot if you can. Trust me, once you're out there skimming over the water and soaking in those beautiful views of the Barcelona shoreline, time just flies.

There's just one small thing that could've made the whole experience a bit smoother. Right before we got started, we had to scan a QR code, fill out this pretty lengthy form, and go over the rental contract. I get why it's necessary, but it felt a bit stressful doing all that right before we were supposed to be having fun. I reckon it'd be great if they could send this stuff ahead of time - then we'd have a chance to look over everything at our own pace.

But hey, don't get me wrong, that's a minor quibble. Our experience with Brutal WaterSports Barcelona and especially with Daniel was epic! I would seriously recommend giving it a go if you're looking for some adventure in Barcelona. Book a longer slot, strap in, and get ready for some fun. And if you can, ask for Daniel - you won't regret it!

Would not recommend this rental company. Had the worse experience ever with very unfriendly and unhelpful staff member Alex. It’s just remarkable that someone like him is responsible for dealing with customers. We would even go so far as describing his behavior as aggressive. When informing the staff member Alex that we will report how the business treats customers to the W Hotel concierge who send us there in the first place, he bragged about „how he know 50 W Hotel staff members“ and that this would never affect his business. You should never be to sure about that.:)

A minha reserva foi marcada pra as 16: 00 horas depois de duas horas de espera, foi pedido o Storno, e por fim queriam me empurrar a força em uma máquina. Não recomendo ir no verão ah não ser que a organização mude para melhor, porque se mudar para pior melhor contratar uma pessoa qualificada para manter o negócio de pé (obs: isso aconteceu a dois meses atrás).

What an amazing experience! Me and my boyfriend rented two jet skis for half an hour and even after arriving late, Julian and the nice lady at the hut (didn’t get her name) were very accommodating. I was a jet ski virgin so a bit nervous but everything was explained and you can go as slow and as fast (50mph) as you like! If you’re looking for a fun exhilarating half hour to cut up your day out I strongly recommend this experience!
