Excelente restaurante donde probar comida de la gastronomía catalana. El local es agradable, el servicio muy atento y correcto y la comida buena. Recomiendo sobre todo la crema catalana de postre, que es de las mejores que he probado.

Excellent catalan cuisine with friendly owner, Pepe & professional waiting service. The restaurant dates back 100 years so is traditional in design and appearance. We tried the spinach with raisins/pine nuts which was tasty followed by the snails which were cooked to perfection. Then the paella was delicious too. All plates arrived quickly & were well presented & served hot. The final dish, Catalan sausage & Haricot beans, was delicious too. The house wine a Chardonnay from Aragon was good. I would like to see some Catalan wines by the glass in the future. Good lunchtime atmosphere with local clientele. The evening sitting is for the tourists.

Just finished the most wonderful meal at Ca l’Estevet. We stumbled upon this gem and are so glad we did! Firstly we were greeted with impeccable professional courteous service by the waiter with the waistcoat and bow tie. We opted for the asparagus and jamon starter which was fresh, crunchy and light. We shared a paella which we both agreed was our best in Barcelona. It was plated professionally and had a ton of perfectly cooked seafood (no chewy bits whatsoever), lots of crunchy bits on the pan which were delicious. We couldn’t fault the dish. Finished off with a chocolate molten pudding which was rich and decadent, fantastic finish to a brilliant evening. Wanted to especially mention the fabulous service by all staff, the kind waiter even rushed the open the door for us when we left!

"Excel·lent restaurant de cuina catalana". D'entrants vam demanar un Calamars a la romana i una Esqueixada, i de segon una espatlla de cabrit; tot era increíblement deliciós. El personal és molt amigable, però recomano reservar ja que és un lloc que últimament està altament freqüentat per turistes, atrets suposo perquè s'hi menja de 10!

Nos han gustado los platos que pedimos al azar; la atención en el comedor, bien organizada; cocinan y te sirven para que te agrade.

Excelent cuina, plats ben presentats i generosos, servei agradable i molt professional, que s'agraeix a l'hora d'aconsellar els plats escollits

Repetirem segur. Un 10.

Potser una mica massa de soroll, però això és un problema d'arreu.
La culpa és la millorable educació general, que no tenen en conta que estant molestant el seu entorn.

Paella and snails are highly recommended, whereas veal and roasted vegetables were so-so.

Service - 3/5
The waiter who took our order was really haughty and stand-offish. He also wasn’t very helpful when we asked for his opinion. However the waiter who plated and served our paella was quite friendly and professional.

We paid ~120 EUR for 4 people which is on the high side relative to the other meals we have had in Spain over the past 10 days.

Summary - would recommend if you’re there for paella, and hopefully if you speak some Spanish, your experience might be better.
