Can Campolier, Girona

Una experiencia espectacular… la casa perfecta, equipada con todo, con zona de barbacoa, piscina preciosa a compartir con resto de huéspedes, pero nunca falta espacio; el entorno es idílico si buscas tranquilidad y montaña … los propietarios son todos encantadores y muy acogedores … nosotros volvemos el próximo año! Realmente disfrutamos nuestra estadía. Se encuentra en un entorno relajado y hermoso. La piscina era un gran lugar para relajarse después de un poco de ejercicio matutino. Tomamos la cena una noche en el patio y fue excelente. Espero que podamos visitar de nuevo pronto.

Qué increíble lugar para pasar el tiempo. Ya sea que quiera andar en sus bicicletas de alquiler de alta calidad, necesite un lugar acogedor para quedarse o simplemente quiera relajarse durante un par de horas, lo tienen cubierto. Todo el lugar se ve increíble, se nota que pusieron mucho sudor, pasión y trabajo en el lugar. Simplemente vibra. El personal también es muy amable y servicial, me ayudaron con todas las necesidades que tuve. Volveré el año que viene y mirando ya hacia el futuro. ¡Qué lugar tan agradable! ¡Me encanta!

Estuvimos una semana en can Germà. ¡Que gran descubrimiento! El sitio es espectacular, la casa bonita e impecable. La zona de jardin inmensa, la piscina para nosotros solos toda la semana.

Los anfitriones muy amables y educados. Que nos han ayudado en todo. Tienen dos perretes Luna y Reggie que se hacen querer un montón. Super amigables con los niños.

Está situado a menos de 2km de Banyoles, con lo que es hipertranquilo pero a la vez estás muy cerca del pueblo.

Para nosotros ha sido genial. Una semana de paz y desconexión. Nuestra hija ha ido descalza toda la semana jugando en el jardin, con los perros y con la naturaleza. Queríamos hacer muchas cosas fuera y estabamos tan bien allí que nos hemos movido muy poco.

Además puedes usar el taller que tienen en la masia para hacerle cualquier cosa a la bici. Incluso alquilar allí bicis.

¡Ah! Y las hamburguesas de rocacorbafoodtruck muy muy recomendables.

Volveremos en cuanto podamos.

Carl showed us around and the place looks beautiful - especially if you’re a bike dude. We spent some days on the Gravel Roads around Banyoles. Amazing. Also the Rocacorba Climb on early Sunday morning is a must.

Excel·lent! Can Campolier integra la vida local, el ciclisme internacional i el turisme rural amb molta cura i equilibri. L'equip que està al darrere d'aquest ambiciós projecte, originaris de sudàfrica i anglaterra, ens ha mostrat el pla de l'estany des de la seva perspectiva única. Les habitacions estan en diferents cases de la finca (nosaltres estavem a cal germà) i estan reformades completament amb totes les comoditats per a totes les estacions de l'any. Com a parella de 30 anys, hi vam estar molt a gust! També fan el seu propi oli d'oliva que està deliciós.

We are the kind of people that only visit a place once (as there is so much to discover in the world). Johan and Sandy changed that idea. Their place is really nice and authentic, you can see it’s been renovated recently. They are still working to getting the accomodation even better for example by providing a pool bar. They showed us the plans and it’s going to be amazing!

Can Campolier has the perfect location in a quiet area, yet it is close to some very nice attractions (Les Estuned, Banyoles lake) and to supermarkets. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing or sportive holiday. Johan made sure the cycling experience was great as well by helping to stipulate some nice routes.

The hosts were not only very welcoming but made sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived, there was food in the fridge, coffee and water. The last two were refilled multiple times during our visit. The place was very clean and Sandy even proposed to refresh the sheets and towels.

We enjoyed our trip and if they’ll have us, we will certainly come back here!

A beautiful and rustic location, perfect for events, retreats and training camps. Located at the bottom of Rocacorba and just a stone throw from lake banyoles makes the location superb for sports and activity.
You really get the feeling of calmness and welcoming from the family running it. Honestly it’s just a great place

Hem estat molt a gust aquests quatre dies fantàstics i, tot i la pluja, han estat molt confortables i hem pogut fer moltes coses. Tot està molt net (roba de llit, tovalloles, lavabo, cuina i utensilis i la casa en general), els llits són extragrans i els matalassos molt gruixuts, nous i còmodes. L'entorn preciós, amb el llac de Banyoles a 2 minuts i rutes per fer caminant molt maques. La casa és una passada, amb molta història, calentona amb calefacció, amb llar de foc i preparada per reciclar, amb rebost. Sandy i Johan són superatents i prudents, tenen molts detalls sorpresa a l'arribada i durant l' estada per tot el que calgui. Després de tants anys anant a cases rurals, de l'1 al 10 els hi posem un 15! Moltes gràcies per tot!

The accommodations were outstanding, with everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The views from the Can Campolier are truly spectacular, with the most amazing sunrises to waken to. Hosts, Johan, Sandy, Carl, Edward were absolutely wonderful, and extremely helpful in getting me settled, and making sure I had everything I needed. I will defiantly be back to stay at Can Campolier.

We spent 2 magical days at Can Campolier and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Johan and Sandy are exceptionally attentive hosts and they really made our day comfortable.
The standard of accommodation is outstanding and the hill top location overlooking the town of Banyoles makes for fantastic views.

The family here welcomed myself and my daughter so warmly that we felt part of their family. I was invited to cycle by Johan who made sure I did not get lost. The accommodation is superb, en suite sleeping, comfortable lounge areas, outdoor barbecue, indoor self catering area is perfect late evening sunsets. The hired bicycle was ideal for the Rocacorba mountain climb. Thanks to all concerned I did not want to leave

What an amazing place to stay. The accommodation is 5 star but pricing is very reasonable. It's a charming villa with friendly and caring hosts and lots of things to do. You can hire a bike from Can Campolier, get a guided tour of routes and see some of the best roads and trails anywhere. I have never enjoyed my riding as much as I did in this place. We will be back next year for sure.

Great lodgings; safe, clean, friendly, with support for cycling teams and families. Guided rides on hidden super quiet roads with Edward will take you up and up and up!

Sitting at the foothills of the Pyrenees, one can only be startled by the astounding vistas and vantage points which abound. Many of these need to be reached on a bicycle, but this is made totally worth it by the sense of achievement scaling these. In one day I was at the coast, visited ancient villages, and on top of a mountain.all accessible (easily) from the wonderful Can Campolier.

Johan, Sandy, Edward, Carl, Ashleigh made this a truly fantastic stay! The accommodation is fully kitted out (super comfortable beds are a major win! And a nice stock of gooooood food). Their enthusiasm, friendliness, and real encouragement is unrivalled!
Edward was a fantastic guide: someone with real experience, and motivation to get me through some of the tougher bits.
I CANNOT wait to be back, with some friends, in future! And cannot wait to tell as many people as possible about the joys of cycling, running, swimming in this area of Banyoles.

Stayed a week at Can Campolier and it was and is everything described. Sandie attended to every need or request we had and made sure we were at total comfort for the stay. The accommodation and rooms were extremely comfortable and all amenities were there on hand. You wont find a better place to go ride your bike. All routes are easily accessible and Ed Greene is a Ninja as a bike guide.

Great place, well worth the cost and stay there.

A cyclist's, hiker's haven, perfectly situated for accessing the most incredible rides and walks in the area, and with Banyoles Lake a short walk away, and Girona a short drive away. Accommodation is top-class: comfortable, spotlessly clean and modern, yet within a classic Spanish casa. Hosts, Johan and Sandy warm and welcoming, and the staff at Rocacorba Cycling sorted all our biking needs and provided all information on routes and coffee stops! If you want an authentic Catalan experience, this is where to stay.
