Capet Restaurant, Barcelona

Una joya escondida en una calle muy pequeña en el corazón del barrio gótico. La comida es digna de Estrella Michelin. Elaboración cuidada y laboriosa que no deja de sorprenderte nunca, por muchas veces que vayas. Recomiendo el carpaccio de ceps, cualquier pescado o bien el mil hojas de calamar.

He oído hablar de este restaurante a lo largo de los años y siempre tuve mucha curiosidad. Fuimos allí con mi marido anoche y estoy un poco decepcionado. Éramos una de las dos únicas mesas cenando en todo el restaurante y el ambiente simplemente no estaba allí. La comida era estupenda, teníamos el menú degustación corto. Cada plato estaba muy bien presentado, sin embargo, sentí que 75 euros por un menú de degustación corto en Barcelona es un precio alto, considerando que el menú no incluía ninguno de los ingredientes premium como mariscos (nuevamente, estamos en Barcelona: camarones, vieiras, mejillones, almejas). Todo lo que no estaba en el menú. Todo era verdura, un tipo de pescado más barato (merluza) y cerdo cocido a fuego lento, ni siquiera ternera. La selección de vinos también fue buena, gran variedad. Lo que más me impresionó es el servicio. El camarero fue muy educado y profesional. En definitiva, no creo que vuelva a ir allí. Espero que haya sido sólo una noche extraña para ellos.

Es solo una cuestión de gustos pero la raya no estaba lo suficientemente cocida (no dudes en preguntar si la quieres bien cocida) y la tarta de limón estaba demasiado dulce.

Espectacular restaurante en el corazón de Barcelona. Materia de primera calidad, elaboración impecable y un sabor bestial en todos los platos que probamos. El lugar es precioso y el ambiente tranquilo y relajado. Un trabajo bestial de todo el equipo que trabaja allí.

Limited menu and high prices. And if you’re going to have such high prices, perhaps invest in better aesthetics… Disappointing experience.

Came in without reservation, but very nice staff - found a table for 4 of us; had a bunch of starters - eel and artichoke; pork snout wrapped in savoy cabbage leaves; chicken croquettes… then wild boar cheeks; shrimp and plankton rice…

Vaig fer menú degustació llarg, els 4 entrants eren espectaculars, el plat de peix no sorprenia a ningú però estava cuit a la perfecció el plat de carn estava ben elaborat però la peça de carn triada no estava a l'alçada eixuta i estellosa i els postres eren de menú diari. En resum un menú degustació en caiguda lliure comença molt bé i va baixant

Me encantó, comida excelente con sabores bien diferenciados, correcta cantidad de cada plato (hay menús degustación que son muy escasos), postres excelentes, servicio rápido y muy atento.
Por poner alguna pega: mesa pequeña y poco espacio en general (en la parte de abajo).

Toda una experiencia para mi, disfruté muchísimo! Atención de diez, y comida de diez. Hicimos menú degustación, y todo estaba delicioso.

Avui hem dinat al Capet i ha estat una fantàstica experiència: el lloc acollidor, una cuina feta amb molt bon producte i elaborada amb gran professionalitat, el servei excel.lent, el personal molt amable i competent. En resum estimen el que fan i això es nota. Tornarem segur!

Well prepared, delicious food.
Each dish was a taste experience and made with so much care.
Hubby is sad not to have had the opportunity to taste the boar dish or the mandarin dessert but every dish we had was divine.
We are inspired and so glad we found this restaurant.
The staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and helped us with a table even without a reservation.
Thank you for a wonderful evening where we could celebrate a missed 25th wedding anniversary and 50th birthdays

A wonderful experience dining in the Capet. The menu tasting was awesome in a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Dining at Capet was a really lovely experience, the staff were super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We decided to share lots of starters in order to taste lots of items. We got to sit right near the open kitchen which made it even more enjoyable!
I would definitely say it’s one of the top restaurants in Barcelona.

A wonderful French inspired cuisine in the heart of Barcelona. Sting Ray, black sausage, and nice sweet to finish the evening. Service and plating were both attentive to all the details.

Extraordinario Restaurante. Cocina muy bien elaborada, y trato exquisito del personal. El cliente se siente muy bien tratado, con un servicio muy esmerado.

To all the people who will decide to come to this stunner of a place for dining experience: don’t let the location scare you off. Yes, the restaurant is tucked between two narrow streets in a murky neighborhood. Nevertheless, as soon as you open the entrance door, you are immediately transported into a completely different surroundings. The staff is extremely welcoming and eager to give you the best reception. The open kitchen adds to the overall restauranty feel, and you get to see the chef working on your fish before it’s delivered to your table. We were a group of four, and each person ordered a starter and a main course. The menu ranges from seasonal dishes that highlight the produce of the top quality to some hits that, I reckon, have long stayed on the menu pages. My rolled cabbage starter was very well executed, with a hearty filling of pork cheek and bacon, and accompanied with a velvety rich, yet not overpowering sauce. The main course was a beef tongue, and I must say, that the fidella that worked as a garnish in this dish, took on more flavor than the cow tongue itself. That is not to say that it wasn’t tender and flavorful: I just didn’t find the flavor balance properly distributed. But the course that impressed me the most was the dessert of osmotized mandarine. A very simple plating of a very strong dish! I hope you will have a chance of trying this restaurant for yourself and enjoying it as much as I did!

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Un po' caro: per n sei con antipasto, main course, dessert Ed una bottiglia di vino più amari (per 3 persone solamente) abbiamo speso 50€ circa cad.
Unica cosa da cambiare è la presentazione del dessert al cioccolato in foto, che ha un aspetto decisamente migliorabile. Per il resto il pesce era ottimo. Porzioni parch.

Interesting place with very good food (as it would be normal with a restaurant mentioned by theMichelin Guide). The location is right in the middle of The Gothic Quarter in Barcelona which gives it an even more authentic feel. The open kitchen adds to the pleasent feeling. All dishes we tried were very tasty and the service was also pleasent, but it took a long time and since we were with 2 children they became anxious. That’s why when the restaurant is fully booked I would nor reccomment dining there with children.

What an amazing place! The food, the wine and the service was all fantastic. It was excellent and a great atmosphere. Could not recommend it any higher. Such good value for money too!
