A beautiful hideaway with beautiful rooms, great food and cosy commun areas + rooftop. Loved the sunlight in the morning - We had the room P01. Will return on a next visit hopefully soon!

Elegimos Casa Bonay para pasar el fin de año en Barcelona y la verdad que un 10 todo. El hotel súper acogedor y bonito, instalaciones geniales y el personal súper simpático, en especial el chico de recepción Bruno, que nos ayudó a poder organizarnos para no perdernos nada de Barcelona. La verdad que un 10 de sitio y de gente. Así da gusto… repetiremos seguro! Te hace sentir como en casa:)

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Next time we will take a bigger room. Nice staff and free rental bikes. Cool!

We went to Barcelona for my fiancé's 30th birthday and stayed at Casa Bonay for 4 nights in December. It was perfect. The hotel is really chic and tastefully decorated, and has a really fun vibe. Our room was and there was a bottle of cava waiting for us, as I had let them know about my partner's birthday- so this was very much appreciated. There are Malin + Goetz products in the bathroom, as well as toothpaste, which is a great touch. The tapas bar was incredible- great food and wine, and the breakfast in the Libertine Bar was also delicious. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. The location is also great- we love walking so pretty much walked everywhere from the hotel. We will definitley be back!

I've never been to Barcelona before, but I am confident that this hotel is a unique gem anyway. Stylish and charming, but also welcoming and comfortable. I can't think of a better introduction to Spain.

The staff was incredibly nice! I felt more like i was staying with friends, nice warm chats about life and the city with the front desk and the bartender.

The rooms are small but brilliantly laid out and very charming. Loved the yoga mats and blocks so very much. Why don't more hotels do that? !

Rooftop bar and the Cafe were also lovely. I had the tomato salad and a negroni at the bar on my first night and it was sublime.

It's located in a great spot in the eixample. Steps from a great train line. I had no problem easily getting to all of the big sights.

STRONG recommend for this hotel.

Super chic. Friendly staff. Very well kept rooms. Clean. Attention to detail. But you can hear and feel the metro through the walls and floors.

We loved our time at Casa Bonay.the hotel is beautifully decorated (I wish I could have them decorate my house!), with friendly and helpful staff, it's in a great location, and has amazing restaurants/bar/coffee shop attached

Staff are friendly. Views from the rooftop are amazing and the food is not that expensive. Located in one of the best neighborhood in Barcelona. There is a private terraza for events.

Un 100 los camareros de lo más simpático de Barcelona! Unos encantos todos. Hemos ido un grupo grande de cumpleaños este sábado y el servicio muy amable educado y simpático. Ya hemos ido varias veces por que el sitio es hermoso el dj buensimo y la comida muy bien!

Central location in Barcelona near most things. The staff was very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay! Would visit this hotel again without hesitation!

Très belle hôtel le bar Libertine est très agréable, les cocktail sont délicieux.
Malheureusement le double vitrage est inefficace du à l'avenue extrêmement passante! Big up à la réceptionniste qui nous a coursé, car elle pensait que nous allions partir sans payer les suppléments.

El camarero de la Bodega es excepcional, conoce el producto de la carta al milímetro y hace que comer ahí se convierta en una gran experiencia

Como en casa siempre. El trato es excepcionalmente cálido y agradable, y las habitaciones, así como el hotel en general, tienen una decoración preciosa.

I am writing this on our last night of our stay here. We booked three nights at Casa Bonay for my girlfriend's birthday.
I am confident in saying this is a charming, perfectly placed and well equipped residence for a visit to this city. We were greeted warmly by staff who had provided our room with a card & bottle of wine on account for the occasion; and called our room wishing well after our arrival. We expressed openly our wishes to experience a local life during our stay & were presented with great recommendations of places to visit, eat & drink. Honestly, the friendly presence of our main reception staff (Chema, & and a female member of staff who I unfortunately did not get the name of) really enhanced our visit, and was a great representative of the hotel & the city. Our room was spacious for a city break & sectioned well functionally between bathroom, bedroom, & living space. The bar located both at the rooftop & ground floor were comfortable and staffed well, and I really enjoyed the Satan coffee shop (also found near the cathedral in Gothic Quarter) - which did one of the best espresso of my time in Barcelona.
We arrived late on our first day & managed to eat at the Bodega Bonay, which was an absolutely great eating experience that I would recommend.
This has been my second visit to Barcelona, and I believe it is your base & accommodation that can really set your experience apart. The location is very close to a metro station (which you will use frequently) & is within walking distance of many quality shops, bars, restaurants, and points of interest. We received great local recommendations, felt comfortable, and loved our short time at Bonay. If I visit this part of the world again I would be sure to stay here; and would recommend it to anybody interested in learning about the city & truly experiencing what the location has to offer.
