Great location but lacking in many other respects. Hotel and room had great potential but the finishings were poorly done and ended up looking cheap. Breakfast was terrible - donut and banana left out on a plate until you arrived at breakfast.

Seguimos esperando.

I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to stay!
Me and my partner stayed here in a private room a week prior to the city going on lockdown. Not only did Casa Gracia respond so well to concerns about covid but it was genuinely one of the nicest venues I've stayed in. The room was incredibly well priced for our short stay in the heart of the city. You don't feel like you are staying in a hostel at all. It was a great atmosphere with a fantastic bar, friendly staff with tonnes of recommendations on where to go and great services. We made some incredible friends who stayed here too.

No cancelation possible during covid 19 crisis. You pay the room or you can reschedule. But no flexibility in times of pandemic. Horrible customer service.

Adoramos!
Gracias por todo, #casagracia

Staff rude, Really noisy, Not well clean, Bad WiFi, Poor Kitchen area, Misleading pictures

What a bad impression in this hostel. I stayed two nights in the dormitory and it was not what I expected with the pictures.
The reality is more dark and shadow in the room. The second day, I asked to change for a dormitory with more light and not in front of the kitchen and we told me that it’s impossible and anyway, almost all the dormitories are like this one. It means simply that the pictures are misleading. The two good points in my opinion are the furnitures (beds and storage unit) because it uses all the height of the room and it’s spacious even if you are above. And the breakfast is quite good even for vegetarians.

I was there in November and it was quite cold inside the hostel, and the staff is mainly rude and seems clearly unhappy. The noise was very loud during the day and until late because I was at the 1st floor where there are all the common spaces. The kitchen is very low in tools, two knifes which they only bear the name and that’s it! The fridges are not clean often and I found there some food here since a few months apparently. Good if you are going for freeganism!

The WiFi, it’s quite a joke, it doesn’t work well for a smartphone even in the common spaces (kitchen, dining room and living room). OK if you have a computer.

I recommend Sant Jordi Gracia where I stayed a few years ago and it was much much better than here - except the design - but I don’t care.

The price was really good, especially considering how nice Casa Gracia was. It had a great location in Barcelona, with easy access to a lot of things. It was kept pretty clean, as rooms and such were attended to daily, which was nice. The first floor has a lovely balcony area, an outdoors area, a dining room, and even free coffee machines! There's also the restaurant just down stairs which is convenient, and the breakfast is SERIOUSLY worth the price, in my opinion. My only complaints were about the rooms themselves- They were on the smaller side for what could potentially be six people, and really didn't seem like they were built for six (Only four drawer/lockers, three towel hooks, etc.). The bathroom situation is not for those shy of their bowel movements, with the thin glass door they had. The only other thing was the room circulation felt kind of crappy, and the blankets were thin and mine was mildly stained? All in all though, my stay here was honestly quite lovely, and for sure one of the nicer hostels in Barcelona, and I would absolutely recommend it.

No pienso repetir.

We had such an amazing time staying at Casa Gràcia! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The hotel decor is beautiful and inviting. Two of us stayed in the apartment with the terrace view. It was perfect for two people, although in addition to the bedroom, there is a couch bed in the living room that could also sleep another two. We loved waking up and sitting on the balcony with the views of Barcelona. The rooms were clean and inviting. It was easy to walk around Barcelona from this location. I definitely recommend staying here!

Much nicer than the few other hostels I've been too! Staff was on top of everything, the room was clean, and the common areas are actually a place you'd want to be in. I can't speak for the restaurant inside, but I took a look at their menu and really wish I'd tried something during my stay there. (You can find the menu online). Like everyone before me had said, location is great; in the heart of Barcelona and just a few min walk to the nearest station. If I ever come back to Barcelona Casa Gracia will be my first choice!

Hostel very nice. Including even a fresh towel each day. I gave 5 stars in first place but discovered later that there is no common room open during night.

We wanted to organise an event for our company there but it seems the people working in the events department of Casa Gracia are not really interested in answering e-mails or dealing with potential clients since we have sent various emails and even called and no one has bothered to answer those emails. Such a pity as it seemed a nice place.
