Casa Valeta is the highlight of our trip to Barcelona! This is my 1st time writing a review for any hotel, hostel, apartment.etc. This place is VERY clean, spacious, SAFE (many doors you can lock), cozy, and convenient (near shopping area, but quiet at night). The owner is very personable, generous, and helpful. He responses to your messages as soon as he can. By staying at this place, you will definitely feel at home in Barcelona. All the amenities in this apartment worked great and we loved the large dining table + well-equipped kitchen that we used to share food we bought from the local markets. We travelled to Austria, Italy, Spain, and France, but Barcelona in Spain was our favorite. Affordable and amazingly delicious tapas/food everywhere, architectural gems, and definitely visit the beach when the weather is good. This city and its nice people makes me want to start learning Spanish again so I can have a deeper understanding of Barcelona next time.
Absolutely impressed. Stayed here for 3 nights and highly recommend it. A very clean and cosy studio. It has a well equipped kitchen, maps and other tourist info handy, a/c unit, plenty of storage and excellent WiFi. The best part are the hosts Martin & Marina who make you feel welcome, are very friendly and helpful. They helped us give an overview of the city & pointed out the best places and things to do. Thanks a lot!
The studio is bang in the middle of the city and within a 5 min walk to Diagonal metro station, 3 mins to bus stops and about a 10 min walk to airport trains. They have 2-3 shops nearby for milk and supplies. Safe & secure place and highly recommend it
