¡Verdaderamente un castillo bellamente modernizado! Grandes habitaciones, excelentes vistas. Comida deliciosa. Sólo una parte del personal no estaba realmente orientada al cliente, lo cual fue una pena. Consejo: ¡navegue hasta el pueblo de Bisbal en lugar del hotel!

¡La vista es impresionante! Uno de los lugares más bonitos de la zona. Debo decir que la habitación no era alucinante, pero el ambiente general lo hace todo

Estuvimos aquí para una boda y todo fue perfecto. Los empleados son 5 estrellas y el espacio, a pesar de ser antiguo, está muy bien cuidado y preparado para albergar eventos.

"Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra aventura espontánea en el hotel del castillo. Llegamos a las 21: 00 y fuimos recibidos con calidez. Tuvimos la suerte de obtener una habitación maravillosa y, debido a un pequeño problema, ¡incluso nos dieron un upgrade, un gran comienzo!

El personal fue extremadamente amable y atento, y la comida fue simplemente excelente. Incluso tenían pan sin gluten para mí, lo cual fue una agradable sorpresa.

La relación calidad-precio fue inmejorable, y la atmósfera era increíblemente tranquila y relajante. La zona de la piscina fue un punto destacado adicional.

En general, una experiencia maravillosa que nos gustaría repetir en el futuro. "

Durante una noche de este verano, visitamos el restaurante del Hotel Castell d'Empordà. Sin duda, el lugar es impresionante; sus vistas son excepcionales, especialmente al momento de la cena, cuando pudimos disfrutar de una puesta de sol única. No obstante, mi crítica se centra en la experiencia gastronómica que experimentamos esa noche.

Optamos por el menú degustación con maridaje de vinos, pero lamentablemente, la cena no cumplió con las altas expectativas que el entorno había creado. Si bien la mayoría de los platos eran aceptables, tres de ellos nos dejaron perplejos por su simplicidad y falta de sofisticación: una ensalada de tomate, un cóctel de cangrejo imperial y el postre. Estos platos simplemente no estaban a la par del entorno y la ocasión.

En relación al maridaje de vinos, si bien los vinos eran adecuados, no lograban justificar el precio elevado que pagamos. Esperábamos que los vinos complementaran y elevaran la experiencia culinaria, pero desafortunadamente no lo lograron.

En resumen, aunque el restaurante del Hotel Castell d'Empordà ofrece una ubicación y ambiente encantadores para una cena especial, nuestra experiencia sugiere que es fundamental seleccionar con cautela los platos y vinos del menú. En una sola noche, no logramos experimentar la excelencia que se espera de un lugar así.

Estuvimos ayer con toda mi familia en uno de los restaurantes para comer, el Tres Margarit. El trato fue más que excelente. El servicio muy atento y profesional, estuvieron pendientes de nosotros en todo momento y nos sentimos muy cuidados. Destacar la hospitalidad y ganas de servir bien de Nela, Vasi y Samir. La comida fantástica, estaba todo buenísimo. El arroz es uno de los mejores que he probado. Se nota muchísimo el cariño que le ponen a todo lo que hacen y el buen ambiente que hay en el equipo, y eso es una vibración que llega a los clientes. Nos encantó, y repetiremos seguro!

Tuve el placer de ser fotógrafo de bodas en el Castell d'Empordá varias veces y siempre ha sido un placer absoluto. El espacio es muy acogedor y atractivo, con muchas áreas diferentes para explorar. Lo que me impresionó más fue la luz natural, lo que facilita la captura de hermosas fotos. Cada vez que he estado allí, recuerdo lo especial que es un lugar.

Michael and I had the chance to get married at Castell d'Emporda in August 2022. We privatized the entire castle and bedrooms for 2 days and we have to admit that it was absolutely wonderful. Our 120 guests and us were very impressed by the quality of the numerous services that were provided: from pool parties, coordination of the ceremony, amazing food at the wedding dinner, etc. Overall, we do not regret the long travel from Switzerland and would recommend Castell d'Emporda to any couple seeking their dream wedding spot.

I have been staying here as a part of a wedding party for the last 3 nights. Unfortunately they have been amongst the most uncomfortable I can remember. I have been in room 8 in the tower.

I suggest one should come here with ear plugs, eye mask and a portable fan to enjoy the stay.

The room has been warm and if we open the windows in the western side then the bright lights from the castle illumination come streaming in. If we open the windows on the south side then the noise from the utility services at 6am onwards wake us up. So it has been a struggle. The hotel refused to stop the terrace cleaning when I requested it be delayed to a more earthly time. That's the reason why guests should not stay close to the central areas or close to the illumination. Ear plugs can help and so can eye masks. Room lighting is weak. A lamp was not working. The bath tub has a leak and leave the floor quite wet.

The food is average at best. Service is average though they do try.
One realizes coming from India that hospitality service levels are no where close to what we get back home. The service in India is always with a smile which is missing in Europe.

To be fair the location is excellent and there are many different parts of the castle to host functions. Indeed the location sells itself, but one needs to be lucky with the weather and the room location.

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans ce lieu enchanteur et magique à l'occasion d'un mariage!

One of the most memorable places you could ever hope to visit. Superb rooms. The Drac restaurant was as good as it gets. Outstanding value. Good wines at very reasonable prices. The location with incredible views all around. I cant not give it 5 stsrs.

Muy buena experiencia, dormimos una noche en la torre del castillo y fue increíble. Ademas la atención fue muy buena, antes de que pidieramos algo, ya nos lo estaban ofreciendo. Estuvimos muy a gusto alli. Un sitio totalmente recomendable, y sitio y vistas preciosas.

Spectacular setting, with modern facilities and very friendly staff. Worth a stay to enjoy the pools, the bars and the relaxing countryside setting.

Déçu du restaurant. Premièrement, le restaurant dans le château n'était pas disponible cause d'un mariage, ce qui n'a pas été annoncé lors de la réservation, deuxièmement, fourchette avec de la nourriture dessus, changée par le serveur après lui avoir signalé, troisièmement et je m'arrêterai à 3 pour l'énumération, il manquait des ingrédients par rapport à ce qui était écris dans la carte, comme exemple la glace à la tomate qui n'a pas pu être servie car il faisait trop chaud par contre la glace concombre pour elle il faisait assez frais. Il a manqué un calamar lors d'une remise d'assiette, le serveur nous a à peine traité de menteur, heureusement il y avait plusieurs serveurs pour rattraper le plus désagréable.
En sus mon organisme a du évacuer, je sais que ça vient de la mais je ne sais pas de quoi, si c'est la crème sur le crabe qui a tourné ou la Mayonnaise que l'on m'a donné en plus car ceux qui n'ont pas mangé ça n'ont rien eu.
Sur ce je tiens à dire que dans l'ensemble le repas était bon et que le cadre extérieur est très joli.

La habitación 14 era la más económica, rebasando los 160 € por noche. Esta habitación da a una calle sin vistas y sin privacidad (nivel de calle). La habitación no dispone de puerta para el baño con lo cual es absolutamente imposible mantener la intimidad personal. La tapa del water rota. Por esta habitación no deberían cobrar ese precio. Es muy limitada, ni en una pensión falta la puerta que separa el baño. Muy mejorable. Parece un almacén habilitado para dormir. Respecto al castillo, piscinas y vistas: increíble y magnífico

We recently had our wedding at Emporda and wouldn’t recommend the venue enough. Teresa, Sandra & Jacky were fabulous in the lead up to the wedding and Teresa was fantastic on the day, making sure I was calm and everything ran to plan. Photos do not to do this venue justice, it’s simply stunning and the food is out of this world. Having stayed at the venue a few times the staff are fantastic, the hotel is clean and overall just a wonderful place. We can’t wait to return for our wedding anniversary.

La vista és espectacular, tot i que no erem hostes vam entrar a la terrassa a fer la cerveseta i vàren ser súper amables.

I photographed a destination wedding at this wonderful resort. I also stayed here and had breakfast, lunch and dinner here for a couple of days.

It was a wonderful stay. Staff speaks great English (a lot of them even speak Dutch, which is my native language) and were friendly and helpful. All the food was delicious, rooms and beds were comfy and collaborating with the venues wedding planner was a treat.

Would highly recommend this place to any couple considering Castell d’Empordà for their wedding. As a destination wedding photographer with 10 years of experience I’ve seen a lot of different venues and this one really stood out.

Estuvimos durante nuestra luna de miel un 23 de noviembre de 2008. En una de las habitaciones del castillo. Entonces la decoración era un poco diferente. Pero igualmente os dejo estas fotos actuales.
Os podéis imaginar super tranquilos. Y un lugar romántico. Estuvimos cenando en el restaurante Drac Restaurante. Y después tomamos una copa en el chill Out de la planta baja.
