Central and Basic Solarium, Barcelona

Extremely friendly and helpful reception especially Mayra who gave me a very warm welcome! The rooms are modest but sufficent and the Hostel is perfectly located next to the sea and Ramblas. I'm gladly coming back later this year!

First of all, let me say it was amazing!
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is located right in the city. Very central! You may easily access the metro station or the main shopping street within about 10min. Of walking tops. The view at the solarium is really good. I took a couple timelapses there, they turned out quite nice. As well, you may be seeing the pictures below. All of which I took at the solarium (some with 30x zoom, some with fisheye, some normal ones as well). In view is the complete town jungle of Barcelona! The hotel is pretty clean.

However, there may be no air conditioning which may make the summer nights a bit harder. The staff gave me a ventilator, when I asked for it, though.
I do not recommend walking to the solarium at night and alone, since the neighborhood is adjusted to the downtown environment. The rooms are in relation to the prize in more than appropriate sizes.

Despite that, the well below average prize, the excellent location and the engaged staff definitely made my stay easier and comfortable. I can only recommend it!

It is a cheap hostel in the middle of Barcelona. The Hostel is located next to la Rambla and close to the sea. The Room's are really small, dark and old. The Hostel is not clean at all, but if they decide to clean the toilet, they do it during the night at 2-3am. The room's have small walls, so you can hear everything from your neighbors. The Hostel has no elevator and 6 floors, which is awful if you have a lot of laguage.

Struttura nel cuore di Barcellona. Un po' rumorosa la zona di sera ma per un soggiorno di pochi giorni é l'ideale.

Personnel très accueillant, parlant anglais et espagnol. Chambre simple mais propre. Deux WC et une douche par étage pour environ une dizaine de chambres, propres.

The staff were fine except when they decided to clean at like 3 in the morning when it wasn't necessary. I've never stayed in a hostel before so I have nothing to compare it to however I'll be completely honest. The room was boiling as it has no window to the outside, the l my window lead to the corridor and the automated lights that came on everyone someone walked past were dazzling. The ceiling fan was loose on the ceiling so if you wanted it on you had to put up with a loud noise, not great when your trying to sleep. All the doors are super heavy and they get slammed on the regular, by staff and guests. I can honestly say I had about 4-5 hours broken sleep a night if i was lucky.

The only good thing is the location, the price and the roof terrace. It's literally a few minute walk to Les rambles and it's super cheap. The roof terrace is a nice place to chill and have a few drinks before you head out for the evening.

Name says it all, it's central and it's basic! "and if that is what you want this will do the job. Must mention the staff very friendly. Bizarrely they do have a rooftop garden where you can enjoy the view or sunbathe. On a budget? This is a good choice, l will use it again.

La struttura è a due passi dalla rambla e da tante attrazioni da visitare. La mia camera era ben attrezzata con asciugamani, saponette e ventilatore. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi problema. I prezzi sono ottimi. L’unico problemino è che l’hotel è in una stradina un po’ inquietante, ma per il resto tutto bene.

It's really good, that there are rooms for two, despite for being a hostel.for being a hostel. The staff is friendly, especially Lewis, who took a lot care about us, was super nice, and did his best to make our stay comfortable. He is a really outstanding person in the catering industry, we hope we can meet him again in the future.

Easy checkin and good clean room. It was a little warm but there was a fan available. Safe area and excellent staff. Security could be improved but not an issue really. 5 stars and thanks.

Mehdi was extremely helpful! He was very patient with me and helped me find my way around the city, not only to tour around but also how to find a place to stay and how to find a job which is helpful beyond belief. Hes quick with the joke too, always laughing and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and my visit here.

A bit loud the days close to weekends. The room was clean and the people at the reception are very kind!

This was a great stay, the hosts are very welcomming. The hostel is clean and the rooms are good. The location is amazing. I would stay here again.

Central and basic est conforme à sa présentation! Et conforme à son titre! Il est très central! Barcelone se fait facilement à pied et la vielle ville est magnifique. Pour les amoureux d architecture vous allez vous régaler!

A very warm welcome by the staff who is amazingly nice, the rooms are well fitted (queen size beds, mini fridge, sink.) and the location is perfect to enjoy a city trip. We'll be back, the sooner the better ;)
