Dalí Theatre-Museum, Girona

Bonito el lugar pero me da cuenta que no había ningún información accesible para las personas con discapacidad. En 2021, las soluciones para la inclusión social deberían estar en su lugar en cualquier museo.

El museo Salvador Dali es conscientemente un excelente expositor de la Obra de Dali.
Mi padre tambien fue amigo personal de Salvador Dali en sus años mozos.

Dalí con su creatividad y excentricidades deja a cualquiera sin palabras, vale la pena llegar a Figueres para visitar esa joya del arte.

Even if you don't feel comfortable with the artist, the museum is a good point to reconsider or insist in your opinion.

El museu genial com l'autor de les obres! Però falta urgentment que pisin guies o com a poc autoguies! Et perds una infinitat de detalls de les obres del gran geni Dalí! I avui faltaven obres molt importants. Estaven a Rússia! Que vinguin aquí els russos a veure-les!

What an amazing building with some fantastic pieces of Dali's work. You walk through the corridors and rooms at your own pace and take as long as you like. Luckily, in November, it was not very busy.
We parked our campervan out of town at a supermarket and walked in, about 20 mins. There is also a big free parking area at the Fortress, which is at the top of a steep hill, perhaps a 10 min walk down and a bit more on the way back!

He disfrutado mucho. Destacar la amabilidad del personal de las distintas salas. Quiero dar las gracias en especial al que nos hizo notar una de las muchas genialidades de Dalí. En la misma obra está la cadena del ADN con el manto virginal. En el museo hay muchas cosas que ver, no dejéis de localizar esta obra, y no dudéis, con amabilidad claro, de pedir que os lo cuenten. Pista: tiene, dos auriculares.

Original, atractivo por fuera, por dentro algunas salas interesantes. Si tuviera más obras de Dalí.

Visita imprescindible si estás en el Empordà. No hay muchos cuadros conocidos de Dalí pero el museo ofrece mucho más: lienzos, esculturas y otras sorprendentes obras de arte surrealista, ademas de la propia arquitectura del edifcio. Precio 14eur. Mejor comprar por Internet unos dias antes. Parking de pago a 50m.

Visitamos en familia, un niño de 9 años y una niña de 5 años.
Lo disfrutaron, le impresionó muchísimo.
Les cautivó, en el colegio es de lo único que hablan.

Pure theater, Dali designed the building, so it warps your mind a bit as you find yourself in circles. The Oscar background scene around drooping, raindrop, blue, condom balloons are quite hilarious. Dali is playing his part in the human drama. Lots of humor I enjoyed it. The working guards are nice, pointing out insight features that you probably would miss, so be friendly and chat them up. As for the snooty tour guided groups they can just go kiss their own and worship themselves like the oscar surrounded condom balloons.

La verdad no puedo dar una opinión más que del exterior, ya que viajamos siempre con nuestro yorki y no pudimos entrar con el (en el museo del juguete si vas con perro pequeño y lo llevas en brazos o en su transportin, te lo permiten siempre y cuando no moleste). Los exteriores del museo Dali impresionantes, la verdad que fue una pena no poder acceder a él. Tomando un tentenpie en una terraza, un señor muy amable del lugar, nos indicó que el museo de Dali era digno de ver, pero que había un olvidado que era el museo de las joyas que estaba por detrás de la entrada al museo que era impresionante y que era un gran olvidado, no llegamos a acceder a él por lo mismo, pero nos quedamos con las ganas de la manera que lo pinto la verdad.

Muito bom e bonito. O custo é alto pois são 14 euros por adulto alem de precisar pagar estacionamento se.for com veiculo próprio. Recomendo um parque ao lado e o passeio na igreja ao lado tambem

Round-the-twist he was, odd and unique he was also, his fertile inspiration having yielded some of the most illusory and bizarre artworks of the 20th century. The designer and creator of such an unusual accumulation of extraordinary oddities is none other than Salvador Dali, the Catalan artist whose acute imagination is still considered by many as a twist of the mind, eccentric at times, illogical and laughable at others.
But come to Figueres (only an easy bus ride from Girona or a longer train trip from Barcelona) and visit what is perhaps the most unusual exhibition of innovative artworks in Europe. Designed and subsequently created by Dali himself in a former ruined theatre, this building-museum aspires to surprise. Even outside, it amazes with its dark pink walls studded with golden lumps and crowned by a row of egg-shaped protuberances. Move on to the main doorway on Placa de Gala i Salvador Dali and you will be greeted by.well, a pile of large tyres surmounted by a moustached stone statue of Dali himself.
What you see inside is by far more queer than the building’s exterior peculiarities. The ground-floor level accommodates a semicircular green area where a vintage Cadillac surmounted by eerie statues takes pride of place. Balanced dangerously above more tyre columns is a fishing boat that pours out water over the inside of the car when a coin is inserted in the slot provided. The Fish Shop Room, also on this level is an exhibition space reserved for Dali’s paintings, a collection of bizarre artworks that are as intriguing as the well-known collection of Dali’s twisted and elongated clock faces.
The highlight of the exhibits (on the first-floor level) depicts Dali’s wife Gala looking at the Mediterranean Sea. But insert a coin in the slot and look at the painting through the viewfinder from the other end of the room and Gala’s image surprisingly turns into a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
Several more oddities full of surprises are there among the exhibits ready to be discovered, manipulated and activated. But none is as interesting and stunning as the Cheatham jewellery collection, a 37-piece creation of unique jewels designed by Dali and artistically made by professionals in New York. Each pencil design is exhibited alongside the real thing.
Tickets for the museum are preferably bought in advance because queues are usually long, particularly for the summer-night visits (10pm - 1am).

Imperdível! Inclua na viagem à Barcelona esse museu. O ingresso dá um voucher para o museu de jóias. Vale a pena passar o dia todo. Tem uma lanchonete ao lado chamada 100 montaditos, almoço bom e barato. Nas quarta e domingo todo sanduíche custa 1 Euro.

Es un importante lugar de la historia del arte ya que fue el hogar del famoso pintor salvador dalí, es un lugar muy grande y con michas de sus famosas obras de arte, altamente recomendable para los que gustan del arte.

Me esperaba otra cosa. Encontre un lugar masificado y muy agobiante. Las obras que están expuestas no me impresionaron. Hace muchos años vi cuadros de Dalí en bcn y me dejaron con la boca abierta pero en su museo no los he visto.

Make sure that you pick up your map of the building so that you can find your way around. They are just after the baggage search on the right. And were not "offered"

Un recorrido por la vida y obra de Salvador Dalí. Recomiendo hacer un tour guiado para aprovechar al máximo lo que allí está expuesto. De ser posible preparar la visita con antelación para evitar aglomeraciones y disfrutar de la obra de este artista exquisito. Es posible sacar las entradas online.

This museum is just amazing and this is one of the best and interesting museum I have ever been. Even those who don’t like surrealistic art in general and who is not a fan of Dali, would be not disappointed from a visit. Stunning place, so different to the rest of museums, that is why its theatre-museum. Starting from the beginning an outside shape of a building takes our attention and keeps it all the visit! A lot of super fantastic stuff inside and outside. This is a Salvador Dali heart and grave here. City Figueras its self is very nice and interesting, after museum u can walk around the streets and enjoy (but not in winter time as its cold and everything is closed). Ive been there two times: on summer without guide and on winter with a guide. Both times were great! The only difference like I said - in winter its windy (tramontana wind locals suffer from) and almost nothing works in the city.
