Enrique's Cooking Class, Barcelona

Enrique was just great. He was really friendly, fun and you could see immediately that what he was doing was more than a job, it’s simply his passion. We were 6 people in the class and everyone enjoyed the prepping, cooking, the wine and also chatting with each other. And I will never forget the food: it’s not just tasty, everything is farm to
table and the fish and seafood is locally sourced. Go and do it, it’s a must.

I went to the class with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time! I loved the way Enrique explained every single dish, he is aware about many stories of traditional coast dishes. I found really interesting being able to see first-hand how to make a good fish stock. Now I’m confident with it and I cook for my friends very often. Enrique you’ll be hearing back from me! Class, dishes, explanation, wines and lots of laughs, there’s not one single thing I didn’t enjoyed, and all the products we used were over the top, so if you have the chance to, just go!

The best way to learn about a culture is food! Enrique was amazing! Not only we learned how to cook traditional dishes, but we also learned about catalan/spanish culture and interesting facts while having lots of fun. If you are in barcelona, you should definitely do this and meet Enrique!

Me and my friend had a wonderful afternoon cooking with Enrique. The food was absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed the fact that we cooked almost everything. But we didn't only learn how to cook amazing dishes, but Enrique also made sure we learned all about what we were cooking; from where ingredients came from to how to make the most of out of them. I can't stress enough the great experience it was; I definitely recommend go paying a visit to Enrique in his lovely apartment in Gràcia!
