Federal Café, Barcelona

Staff speaks excellent English. All food served is delicious. Best coffee I’ve had in Barcelona so far. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. This is hands down one of the best cafes in the area! The visitors are a mix of students, locals and lucky tourists. It is busy every morning.

Such an nice place with delicious food and coffee. I was looking for a place with wi-fi where I can work. This place is perfect for this purpose. Nice atmosphere, friendly stuff and delicious food and coffee and a perfect working space.

Hip local brunch place with good food. I had a nice refreshing Thai salad which was perfect for the hot weather. Great if you want a relaxing weekend brunch or afternoon coffee

Service is way too slow even during non-peak hours. But waiters are friendly and food is yummy. Coffee was good also. 5 stars if service was at a normal speed.

Un buen sitio para trabajar en remoto aprovechando del wifi gratuito, el buen ambiente, el rico café y la comida sabrosa. El servicio suele ser un poquito lento porque siempre se encuentra muy lleno. Uno de los mejores sitios para tomar un (buen) café en el gótico.

Love this place very much. The Happy Chicken is delicious. I would say ask for green salad instead of cucumber salad as it is a much more delicious choice. Over all the quality of the food is exceptional and beer is cheap.

Ok, so we arrived at midday Sunday and there was a queue - fine. 20 mins wait and we were in. There were more than a few seats free, and we wondered whether the management might like to consider asking whether diners want a table alone, or sharing with another couple/group - to minimise the queue (which lasted until 2pm). Service was ok but staff always seemed rushed and hassled - regardless of what the question or request was. We waited for our food in a bad mood and thinking we'd made a mistake. Luckily the food, when it came, was absolutely excellent. We had the sweet potato toast, the spinach omelette, and French toast to share. All. So. Good. Coupled with a great flat white coffee and a strong English Breakfast tea and we were very happy. All in all, we were pleased we'd made the effort. (Additional comment - Be warned that if you're planning to do any work here, they may ask you to move to one of the designated studying tables)

I like this place. Every time I'm in Barcelona I make sure to visit. They have 2 branches one of them is very close to Gothic square 300 meters. You find locals and tourists some ppl are chilling others are studying or reading. Keep it up lovely spot. I ordered golden milk late with their chocolate chip cookie

Buen ambiente, pero mal servicio.

Very good atmosphere, but they don't care of customers that much. Just the place for studying, or working with your laptop.
Bc the food and the service are horrible:/

Oh but their coffee is good.
