Guinness Tavern, Tarragona

Very cozy outdoor dining area, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and most importantly excellent food! Easily the best food in Salou, an all around great experience, it's just a pity we found the place on the last day of our holiday, we definitely would have come back!

We went here on our last night. The food was amazing and so tasty. Would highly recommend the steak and Guinness pie, with mash (that tastes like proper Irish mash) and the shepards pie. The burgers were also gorgeous and massive. No room for dessert unfortunately but I’m sure it would be amazing too.

Food is second to none, and staff will bend over backwards to help you.couldnt recommend enough

Guinness tavern was recommended by a friend who used to live in salou and to be very honest his recommendation was 100% the food and the staff are totally amazing, if your visiting salou do not leave without visiting this place. A taste of home in spain

Just back from Salou with my family, we had food in thr Guinness Tavern almost every night. 10 out of 10 from us. The food was top notch and also the staff were super friendly and professionalists at their job. Would highly recommend.

Lo mejor, sin duda alguna, es la atención. No pueden ser más majos, más atentos y más serviciales. La comida, de 10 también. Y además, tienen menú apto para celíacos y otras alergias o intolerancias. Hemos estado varias veces y sin duda alguna, seguiremos repitiendo!

Superb spot chirpy happy helpful staff, the food is excellent probably the best quality beef and chicken iv had in salou and reasonable priced, can't believe we haven't been there before but we will be back

Brilliant restaurant, very friendly staff, service is fast and food tastes great! Guinness is creamy till the last sip! They really look after kids very well, great kids menu, their food came out very fast! Place was buzzing and they do special bits if it's your birthday! Highly recommend booking as we were just lucky they fit us in!

Not to be missed. Well worth a visit during your time in Salou. We have tried everything on the menu during our 5 visits to Salou and never had a complaint or problem with anything we have ever eaten here. My daughter looks forward to the best chicken curry ever, everytime we visit.

Best Irish traditional food in Salou by far! Visited twice and throughly enjoyed both meals. After eating in the main strip for five other nights, we were delighted to have come across this place. The staff are most welcoming, the food is devine and great atmosphere all round.

Salou has lots of restaurants, many of which are just the same old bland food and it can get a bit disappointing eating in them, especially as a coeliac. The Guinness Tavern serves great food, is in a lovely spot with a nice atmosphere, caters brilliantly for coeliacs and other dietary requirements and the staff are great. We ate there twice. I'd recommend the goat's cheese salad as a starter, the nachos were also delicious as were the breaded mushrooms. I would say this was our best eating experience for the whole holiday and I would certainly recommend a visit. Special shout out to our server, the lady from Dublin, who was so friendly and great craic.

We always book this at least twice for every trip when we go to salou! The food the staff, service etc is always amazing if your looking for a plate of home away from home this is the spot

Wish we had found this place sooner on our holiday, lovely staff and great food, we went 3 nights on the run! The kids enjoyed seeing the dancing leprechauns! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
