Hotel H10 Port Vell

Excellent location. Hospitable staff. Note to self - one member of staff seems to double up as F & Bev manager, Duty manager et cetera. Jack of all trades and paid on a cleaners wage no doubt (Not meant as an insult to all you hard working cleaners btw) Talking of which "Hello" very friendly cleaner who said "Hi" to me by the lift. Durring our stay I counted 3 staff members.

Sadly however the praise goes no further. To be ripped off €157 for one night's stay in a hermetically sealed (hint - battery Hen farm) bedroom with no view of anything except a  4x4 courtyard below obsevered through a "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" shaped window in a room full of mirrors to add "space" is an just an insult to anything/one with a pulse.

I have stayed in many hotels in BCN (all similarly priced, if not cheaper) - Wilson, Condado & Golf to name a few. The only good thing, if anything - is that the experience has made reconsider becoming a vegetarian. Yes. I'm sure there are better rooms for more moolah. Hello Harbour facing windows! But for how much? More than €157? My personal point of view is go elsewhere and be treated right.

Why bother staying here when the W or Casa Fuster beckon? Both of which offer proper Fk Mee Bob wow factor rooms. Same goes for the cheaper places mentioned above.

Anyway. Other observations include the most tediously operated shower imaginable. There is NOTHING quite like a long journey (in my case from Peralada) that heats the blood (or cools it unintentionally) like a badly designed shower unit in a dimly lit setting. Twist/ Turn all the badly illuminated buttons and find out!

Why pay even more than I did (€157) and get a sea view room?

Seriously. Better still in my opinion - go elsewhere and be treated right.

An unforgivable display of corporate arrogance/ swagger. To think you're going to get away with charging me €157 for a room and be let off the hook? Pandemic or not.

NO CHANCE.

I give one Star only because all staff were so friendly. Other than that it would a richly deserved zero.

Personal muy atento, muy servicial todo muy limpio y las medidas COVID al 100 × 100. Desayuno, una pasada. La cadena H 10 es apostar seguridad y confianza.

We stayed there for a short trip. It was my birthday and the hotel recognized this. They surprised me with a bottle of cava and cake inside of the hotel room. This was really gently and I was really happy about it. The Hotel room was big and with a port view. The interior was modern and and about a luxury standard. The whole room was clean. The air conditioner was very good. The breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed our food every morning. The pool is on the roof top with a great port and see view. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back soon! Well done h10! This was a perfect Birthday Trip. Thanks!

Atención y amabilidad del personal un 10, el hotel no parece de 4 estrellas superior.
Las habitaciones no están insonorizadas, las luces no funcionan bien, el lavabo no estaba limpio del todo. Terraza con piscina muy pequeña con buenas vistas.

Very nice and clean hotel, close to beach and city. Service minded and friendly staff. Wonderful lounge on the room top, with pool, bar, sun beds and chill music

Hotel très bien situé, idéal pour boire un verre sur la plage.
Super roof top avec superbe vue (piscine un peu petite).
Super petit déjeuner très varié avec large choix de plat au menu.
Les chambres sont bien, produits de marque rituals pour la toilette.
Seul bémol les chambres mériteraient d’être rafraichies! (trop de marques au mur et trace d’humidité dans les salles d’eau)!
