Hotel Condal Mar By Melia, Barcelona

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. The room was modern, clean and we had a nice view!
The staff at the hotel is also very friendly, they help you with everything and they also know a lot of nice places. The pool is also very nice and clean. I can recommend this hotel a 100%.

L'hôtel est superbe le personnel est agréable et parle français.
Le métro se trouve à quelques pas de l'hôtel très bien desservis pour accéder au centre ville et les plages.
Les chambres sont spacieuse et très propre.
Le + c'est la piscine vue à 360 au dernier étage vraiment agréable et vue magnifique.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel et par la même occasion nous reviendrons.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in! The first morning we were woken up at 6am by cleaners banging in the room next to us, then the 2nd night we did not sleep at all because they put children in the room next to us on some sort of excursion. We rang reception 4 times about it from 1am -4.45am, once I had to ring the landline number from my mobile because the phone in the room didn’t even work.then the next morning they moved us to another room. Neither rooms had power points next to the beds for phones / chargers, then on the last night we ordered Uber eats to be delivered to reception.upon delivery I go down stairs to collect it and the receptionist literally stole it! So we went hungry the last night.then to make maters worst upon check out we were charged extra for items from the mini bar from the first room that we did not consum, and clearly the cleaners took them when we moved rooms! Absolutely appalling service, would not at all recommend and the manager Anna has absolutely no management skills and did absolutely nothing about any of it! If we booked 1 night we would have left and stayed anywhere else for the other 2! Poor service, and poor Accomodation.stay anywhere else but here! -1 star from me!

The hotel don't recommend you to drink the tap water. A normal hotel would provide the customers with drinkable water for free. This hotel charges 4€ per water from the minibar.

They also use very strongly perfumed cleaning utilities, I even found the cleaning lady spraying the whole bed with this strong smell. Very unpleasant.

Far from centre in a shady looking run dowm neighbourhood
Rooms quite small, with bathrooms almost next to your Pillow.
The mattress was totally worn out, we could feel the springs through.
Breakfast was quite average.
The only good thing was that it was clean!
My Advise- AVOID

Hotel is quite modern, staff are nice and helpful. Location isn't ideal with being quite so far out of central Barcelona but OK for work and getting on the motorways. Although the room was clean I did have someones hairs on the bathroom floor. Bed was firm, which I like, but too much so for my brother who did not sleep too well. Buffet breakfast was nice.
