Hotel El Cid, Barcelona

Bon rapport qualité prix pour ce 1 étoile très bien situé et où l’on se sent bien accueilli.
Points forts: la literie, les chambres avec terrasse au dernier étage, la propreté. J’aime aussi la déco qui ne change pas mais qui va bien à cet hôtel qui a été mon premier quand j’ai découvert Sitges.
Point faible: absence de bouilloire (mais on est dans un 1 étoile), armoires vieillottes et pas très pratiques dans les chambres.
Petit déjeuner correct pour le prix. On apprécie bien sûr dans une ville où se couche tard de pouvoir prendre son petit déjeuner jusqu’à midi!

Molt sorollós, es sentia la conversió de l'habitació del costat. Mobiliari antic i rònic. El servei d'esmorzar deixa molt que desitjar.

Un hotel sencillo y majo. El baño un poco pequeño eso si pero precio calidad genial y atención muy buena. Buffet de desayuno genial. Muy céntrico de la playa y de todo el ambiente.

La habitación tiene una ventana que da a un patio de luces muy sucio y estrecho y lo peor es que el ascensor se estropeó y no pusieron ningún cartel de aviso y nos quedamos dentro a oscuras nadie del hotel vino cuando tocábamos la alarma por suerte al rato de estar dentro una pareja al picar el ascensor desde fuera se abrieron las puertas si alguien del hotel se hubiese preocupado de venir a ver que pasaba habríamos salido enseguida cuando fui a hablar con ellos cuando sali dijeron que ya sabían que estaba estropeado y ya habían avisado a la empresa del ascensor

If you are visitor maybe this place will be enough for you. Im a local man. The hotel's group changed from Cid to Platjador due arrangments. They promised a new and Best room (i reserved a penthause at Cid Hotel) but I got an interior and small room in Platjador, another hotel pf this goup. I suggest do not reserve here. Expensive and liers. Look for other options or cities. Sitges is overvalued

We very much enjoyed our stay at El Cid. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Being located in the middle of town, it's a quick walk to the beach or any of the restaurants or shops. We will stay here again!

Atención excelente! Un detallazo las 2 copas de cava de bienvenida! Desde recepción hasta chicas del bufete muy agradables y atentos, desayuno increíble! Variedad de embutidos, tartas de manzana, fruta, cruasanes, donuts, y pastas de queso con mermelada, cereales de todo tipo, leche de soja.
La piscina muy chula!

When we walked into the lobby, we thought, well, this is an old hotel but somewhat charming. The front desk staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful, which turned out to be the only positive of this hotel. When we entered the room, we were shocked by how terrible it was. It was extremely small (expected), extremely tired looking (in much poorer condition than expected), had a strange smell (not really acceptable), and felt dark. There are many unfilled cracks on the wall, the bed sheets/pillow cases were very old and worn, kind of unnerving to put my face to them actually. (The bed was reasonably comfortable however.) The window/balcony faces the back of another building, and there was virtually no barrier to the next balcony. The wifi did not work at all in the room (we tried on multiple devices). The temperature control panel was partially broken so the air-con could not be controlled properly. There were one light on the ceiling and one desk lamp over the fridge, but no light at the bed side. One could barely turn in the bathroom, and there were stains on the floor/wall and scratches on the toilet seat. We could hear noise constantly from the hallway or the next room. The luggage storage was “self-served”, and the storage room also served as change room, so totally unsecured.

All of this would have been acceptable if the cost was actually 1-star tier. But it was not, it actually charged three-star prices (110€). We would have left and change hotel if we were staying longer than one night.

The quality of this hotel was exceptionally low.

Très belle expérience: nous avons loué une chambre pour deux à 60€ la nuit pendant une semaine. Pour ce prix nous avons eu la chambre avec TV, wifi gratuit, coffre-fort, mini frigo, petit balcon, placard, très grand lit, piscine en plein air sur le toit avec transats et un petit déjeuner continental super complet. Accueil parfait, personnel très sympa, propreté, situation idéale au cœur de la ville, bref, excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous reviendrons!

Good location, nearby to local beach and shops. Reasonable price considering the area it's situated in and it's close to many restaurants and things to do. Room is a good size, the bed is huge and the bathroom is of a good standard too. The shower is large and very powerful, there are lots of complimentary items such as shower caps, shower gels and soaps. Room is cleaned every day if required with bedding and towel changes. Breakfast has a wide variation of choice but some of the hot food can be left out for a while, and the beans don't retain heat so need warming up again. Overall good experience and would stay again.

Super accueil, bonne situation à deux pas des animations, restaurants, bars.
La piscine est un plus en été (pas chauffée l'hiver)
L'insonorisation n'est pas parfaite dans les chambres, mais globalement le séjour est agréable.
Le petit déjeuner ne propose pas d'aliment de grande qualité mais reste copieux.
La literie est très bonne pour se reposer des dures nuits à Sitges.)

El hotel es un edificio enorme y antiguo. Se nota que poco a poco lo van actualizando y adecuando.
A tres minutos de la playa y se puede llegar bien en coche.
La cama es enorme (más de 2.00m) y súper cómoda.
El baño está nuevo (reformado) y muy limpio (me ha encantado).
El desayuno incluido tiene de todo: bollería, embutido, colacao, baicon, judías.hasta tomatitos y ajo para hacerte tú mismo el pan-tomaquet.
Una buena calidad-precio (por lo menos en Marzo).
