Buen Hotel, buen servicio en general y una muy buena cocina donde la prima y de mercado es lo principal

The hotel is located by the highway N-IIa on the northern edge of the town Figueres. Not especially fancy, but silently elegant. It's smoke free, but there is an outdoor terrace and the rooms have balconies. Plenty of open nature to hike in, there's also an old fortress on the hill above. The hotel is pet friendly. €12 extra per night for pets. Big dogs welcome. Free parking and only 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Figueres, just follow the small road behind the hotel and you will be right in the centre. Lots of interesting shops, cafeterias, restaurants, bars. Also the Salvador Dali museum is in town. And beautiful parks. 5 minutes walk from the hotel along the N-IIa highway there is a farmacy and a tobacco shop that also sells magazines, snacks and drinks. This shop is also pet friendly.
The hotel has a tiny gift shop, a cafè which is open from 7: 30 to 22: 30, there the breakfast buffet is served until 11: 00, €11,30, after its alacarte and bar. They even had a vegetarian bocadillio with option of gluten free bread. There is also a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner.
The room was simple, but elegant and clean. The bathroom has bathtub with massage. The bed was very comfortable, not too hard, not to soft. And lots of good pillows. My room was a double for single use, €58 per night.
As it is so close to the highway there is traffic noise, but after about 23: 00 there's very little traffic.
