Fuimos hace dos días a celebrar el aniversario de mi pareja y decir que nuestra corta estancia fue de lo más satisfactoria cuidando cada detalle al máximo.

Me gustaría destacar la amabilidad de Maria Teresa así como del resto de personal. Estan dispuestos a ayudarte en todo momento y por supuesto las increíbles vistas del alojamiento.

Trossos del Priorat - A Wonderful Experience!
We love the wines of the two DOC wine regions of Spain: La Rioja and Priorat.and this was our first visit to Priorat. We wanted to stay close to a winery and have nearby interesting side trips and Trossos del Priorat filled the bill! One must understand this is a functioning winery with a 7 room hotel as part of the building compound. The winery and adjacent buildings are beautiful.
The Rooms: they are not large, but are modern, very clean and, well kept, with cute personal patios adjacent to the room. There is no 'restaurant' as part of the hotel BUT every morning in the kitchen and common room there is a first rate breakfast available to the guests including made to order omelets plus cereals, cut meats and cheeses, freshly squeezed (and great!) orange juice and of course coffee. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen area for those who would like to store some of one's own food for a picnic. And if you do not wish to go to a local restaurant for dinner, then you can prepare your own dinner in the kitchen, as we did one night. We bought fresh local bread, meats and cheese and we also made a salad. All of this we enjoyed on the outdoor patio at Trossos overlooking the valley and vineyards.
The Winery: a small but very modern winery. The wines are excellent and the wine tour (in English and Castilian) was very informative which concluded with a tasting of 4 (?) Trossos wines.

The owner of this winery had an excellent grasp of wine tourism and she is in the process of building a second winery nearby with, of course, a hotel that will be part of the winery.

Just up the road from the winery we walked the streets and hills of the 'Manhattan of Priorat', Vilella Baixa, call that due the multi-story buildings throughout the tiny pueblo and we also went to the hilltop pueblo of Siurana most note (currently) for being 'ground zero' for some of the best mountain climbers in the world.

We love the wines of Priorat and the warm and inviting Trossos del Priorat should be on your list of Bodegas to visit when in the region.

Gran experiència a l'hotel Trossos del Priorat. Instal·lacions modernes i amb tots els detalls, vistes espectaculars del paisatge del Priorat, tranquil·litat per poder desconnectar amb la parella. Amabilitat i proximitat de les persones que hi treballen. Benvinguda amb una copa de vi i pastissets de Gratallops. Tens a la teva disponibilitat aigua i cafès.
