Jay Walker English Hair Salon, Barcelona

Vine por 1ª vez a este salón porque no había podido ver a mi estilista habitual, donde voy desde hace años para hacerme balayage rubio y teñirme las raíces de por medio.

Pedí que me cubrieran las canas de raíz. Me sugirieron que también le agregara un tóner de caramelo. Dije que está bien.

Mi cabello ahora es castaño. No caramelo. Marrón. Y es un marrón rojizo que ni siquiera es un tono particularmente agradable. Soy rubia desde hace 30 años. Me resulta muy extraño que un salón sea tan presuntuoso al hacerme el cabello de un color totalmente diferente cuando no me preguntaron y no me conocen de nada. Ya lo lavé 6 veces y apenas se levanta, como me dijeron que sucedería cuando pregunté por qué estaba tan oscuro.

Cuando vuelva de vacaciones tendré que volver a mi salón habitual y hacerme balayage para arreglarlo. Solo me lo hice hace 2 meses y normalmente espero 6 meses entre cada rubio para evitar dañar demasiado el cabello.

Odio dejar una mala crítica, pero no recomendaría a nadie que vaya a este salón.

Lotus me hizo un corte de pelo muy bonito mientras lograba descubrir lo que quería, a pesar de mi indecisión. Gracias por tu paciencia y profesionalismo

Sali súper contenta con el corte de cabello, son muy amables y atentos. En tanto tiempo no había encontrado un sitio donde supieran me dejaran el cabello tan bonito, super recomendable, sin duda volveré!

Jay siempre sabe cómo quiero mi cabello. También me da buenos consejos sobre cómo tratar mis rizos y siempre es divertido hacerlo.

Necesitaba un cambio de imagen y no me equivoqué al elegir. Me encantó tenía años que no salía tan feliz y complacida de un salón.sencillamente son excelentes profesionales. Gracias Jay

The first time I had my hair done by Jay it was back in 2009. I moved to other places in Spain and I remember coming from Madrid to Barcelona just to have my hair done by him. So, yes - I do love the way he works. He's the best!
I usually relax my hair with him, but some months ago I had my first hair colour experience. He did an amazing job not only choosing the best color for me, but during every step of the process. On that day, they had another girl coloring her hair, she had part of her hair blue, but she wanted to come back to her natural color, and I could see how detailed they were in mixing colors, choosing the best one for each part of her hair, to make sure that the final color was even and perfectly done. I was really impressed with the conversation and care of the team with her case.
Besides the hairstylist part, I'm a big fan of the music background. It doesn't matter the music decade, they always nailed with the best playlist!

Best salon around, went in for a balayage and showed Jay a picture of the colour I wanted and he delivered 10 fold, super happy with my hair.

It was the first time I used this salon. I was very happy with the professionalism and knowledge Jay has. He took his time, I didn't feel rushed! The result was fantastic. It is the first time ever I have the colour that I always wished for. The salon is very cosy and the coffee I was offered was delicious)

Jay really knows his craft. From getting the colour just right to working his magic with the cut, I felt so good for the visit. Personable, skillful, super helpful, I really can't recommend lovely Jay enough!

Today was my first time at Jay Walker English Salon. A wonderful experience from the moment I walked in, high quality service, run by beautiful humans.

Stella took the time to understand how I wanted my hair cut which helped me feel very comfortable (this is significant). She cut my hair with attention and care. The result was much better than expected. This is the second time in my adult life that I like my hair immediately after it was cut. It looked even better after it air dried (Stella had put hair product in and knew how to deal with curly hair, another HUGE plus).

I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a haircut. Especially if you have curly or wavy hair, go see this brilliant woman ASAP, you’ll be happy. Thank you so Stella and I’ll for sure see you again next time I am in Barcelona!

Went to get my first haircut in Barcelona today with Stella. Pretty happy with the results! She took time & made sure you got what you wanted. Also nice atmosphere & killer music saved to my go-to salon from now on. See you guys again soon!

Jay always do a great job on my cutting, very professionally performed and always with his personal touch which turns out to be perfect.

And since I introduced my husband to Stella he also is very happy with his cut.
Unfortunately, we are not living in Barcelona anymore but definitely will go for our cuts to Jay when we will back for a visit.
