Julia travel is the worst company in the world!
First, they sent me already used ticket, so I try to go to Port Aventura 1,5 hours! Lost my money one more time. Second, after Park Aventura we must to meet near our bus, but I feel myself not very good, so we were late only 5 min! But our bus left without us, and I lost my money one more time (180 euro), because I take a taxi.
I don’t recommend this company! Please, buy your tickets in other company!

La pire agence de Barcelone. La seule chose qu'ils savent faire est de prendre l'argent et d'escroquer les familles! Nous avons fait les frais. A éviter!

It was absolute a terrible experience for us to travel with the tour of Montserrat, Torres Wine Cellars and Sitges from Barcelona. The tour guide on Oct 24, miss Letice seems not a good listener to customer's requirements and reacted with a disrespectful way of talking, especially to non-European guests, she just kept looking me up and down in disbelief while I was asking for a headset. To those who may want to join suburban Barcelona tour, you definitely deserve a better choice somewhere else.

It's a bad experience with the tour guide Letice.

I joined one-day tour 'Montserrat, Torres Wine Cellars and Sitges from Barcelona' on Oct 24th, the tour arrangement and bus are good for the visitors.
But Letice was not really cared about customer's feelings and needs. When I was asking her where is the toilet at Montserrat in Spanish, she just looked me up and down 3 times and didn't answer my question even though the toilet is just next to us (I found it by myself finally). Her attitude make me feel uncomfortable, arrogant and impolite. She just focus on her SPEECH and European customers!

It's terrible to join the tour with such tour guide!

I had some ups and downs communicating with this company.
I booked a 4 day Andalusia & Toledo from Madrid tour. The tour start / end date straddled Christmas Day so I got paranoid and looked up the opening times of all the main attractions (such as The Alhambra). I found out on my own that The Alhambra would not be open on the day we were scheduled to visit it. Nowhere on their tour page, or in their FAQs, or in the detailed itinerary that I was emailed did it say what was going to happen to work around this.

I emailed (3 months ahead of the tour) to ask what was going to happen, got no reply for 7 business days. I ended up calling them, at which point they told me that the tour would be rearranged to visit the Alhambra on the subsequent day. This meant that our 3rd tour day would be really dull with nothing planned other than optional activities at additional cost, while the last day would be extremely long. Not only would we have to visit the Alhambra, but we would also have to take the long drive back to Madrid, and Toledo would probably be a rushed visit, all in one day.

I said I wanted to cancel, got a quick response that it was done. I wait one week, there is no sign of a refund. I go back and forth with them and the bank for another week. At this point I am sure it's not their fault, I think it's their payment processor's fault. Still kind of an annoying experience overall.

The people manning the office is courteous and helpful but they run so many day tours here and the place is small. No place to sit at times. The tour leaders are not consistent in calling their tourists. So I wont be surprised there will be some left behind.

I went for a Montserrat half day tour. My recommendation, No way, don't! It was too rushed. You hardly have much time up there. We didn't get to go to the top of the mountain and didnt get to the site of the cross. Either you go for the full day tour or go on your own. I believe there are train packages available. Trains depart from placa Espanyol station.

The tour leader was knowledgeable but not such a good communicator. Most people can't understand what he was saying. But this is small matter. I was not disappointed by the tour leader but rather how rushed this tour was. Like you travel up to a very beautiful place but you can only see a small section, and you need to get back on the bus already.

In all honesty, i reckon most people are not aware that there is another funicular rail that goes up to the very top and a trail that leads to that big cross. So they still think this is a good tour. It is like you go for dinner. There is supposed to be 6 courses but they serve you only 3. If you are not aware, you may think the dinner was fantastic but once you know it was supposed to be 6 courses, you will feel unhappy. Hence, ignorance is bliss.

I'm not typically not one to like being on tours. Maybe it's the whole being shuttled around in a big tour bus with a bunch of others that turns me off. Well, it's a good thing that they do such a good job at Julia's. I really like that their guides are so laid back, and at the same time, knowledgeable and and on point. I booked a couple more tours after going up to Costa Brava on a tour led by Jorge. He made the experience great and both my wife and I talked about how nice it was to connect with someone so well traveled and passionate about showing the best of Catalonia.

If you're tired of figuring things out for yourself, let Julia Travel do the heavy lifting and you can feel free to nap on the bus as you please.

We took whole day tour, half day to Gerona and other half Montserrat. It was not an impressive the way we expected. They don't provide any lunch, breakfast, not even a bottle for drinking water. In Montserrat tour, they changed the train riding but didn' t give option for refund in case if someone doesn't like the cable car riding because of height fobia.

The customer service is good however the tour guide was really rude. The guide walked away and when we were trying to talk to him he said he was deaf, which he clearly wasn't. Also, he showed an attitude when someone asked a question. The driver wasnt any better either. When we were going on the bus he started talking about us in Spanish, little did he know I know Spanish. We also informed the guide that there were other people that had no clue where he went and he said, "whatever. " Also, the guide was making fun of people and was not very nice to certain people. Lastly, when we got off the bus we thanked him and he just turned his head around and didnt say anything.

The Girona (Game of Thrones) tour was an average experience based on the travel guide's attitude. She was so concerned about not having enough time for necessities such as using the restroom. We were given the option to utilize the restroom at the Girona train station after a long bus ride from Barcelona. As soon as the entire tour group made lines for the restroom she whispered a few things in Spanish to her collegue such as "they should have used the bathroom at their hotel" and I perfectly understood it (the headsets were in our ears and I also speak Spanish). However, we were not given the restroom option after the tour because she said that we didn't have enough time. But how does a person not have enough time for others human necessities considering that we paid for this? My husband and I both felt like this tour was super rushed and we're looking at our clocks the entire time. Time should definitely be alotted differently for future tours. Our tour guide was definitely concerned of not being back on time for her next Girona tour. The primary focus should be the customer's experience and not the time on the clock.
