La Fresca, Barcelona

Posto simpatico, molto alla buona, quello che abbiamo mangiato era buono, molta scelta di birre da accompagnare al mangiare, dolce veramente buono. Prezzo modesto, spazio adatto anche a piccoli gruppi di amici, personale molto simpatico ed attivo. Se ripassassi da queste parti, ci tornerei.

Décevant: nous avons commandé des "homemade burger" dans le menu à 11€95. On nous sers des steak frites, nous demandons des précisions et on nous explique que hamburgesa veut dire steak frites! Alors que la traduction en anglais "homemade burger" porte à confusion.les frites étaient bonnes mais le steak non.
Le restaurant est bruyant cependant les entrées et desserts étaient bons.

Good burgers and tapas. Not too overpriced, considering the touristic location; atmosphere is clean and fresh, and staff is friendly and efficient.

After strolling along the promenade and being annoyed by all the "eat here" guys, we left the main street looking for a not so touristy location. We found the small and cute "La Fresca", which serves tapas and some other dishes. We were greeted very friendly and patiently talked though the menu, including recommendations. The team took care of any extra wish we had, even though this meant they had to return to our table once or twice more often than they probably have to usually. The tapas we chose were, from what I can tell, authentic and tasted really good. Our recommendation is to try the vegetables with goat cheese, the fried squid rings and the "Bomba". Everything else was good too, but these dishes were on top of all for us. For two persons, 6 tapas, 2 deserts plus drinks we paid a little less than 50€ which I think is more than appropriate.
