Nuestra boda en Mas Palou el 22 de septiembre de 2023 fue una experiencia que no podemos explicar. El ambiente tocó la fibra sensible entre la intimidad hogareña y la elegancia profesional. Celebrar con nuestros seres más cercanos y queridos en un entorno tan espléndido fue como un sueño hecho realidad.

Muchos invitados comentaron sentirse como si estuvieran en una película y no podríamos estar más de acuerdo. La ambientación, la decoración y cada pequeño detalle parecían sacados de una película romántica. Mención especial merece María, nuestro principal punto de contacto. Su incansable dedicación y compromiso aseguraron que nuestro viaje desde la planificación hasta la ejecución fuera perfecto. Su calidez y experiencia infundieron tanta confianza que mi socio quedó convencido del lugar después de nuestra primera reunión (y normalmente pasaba 6 semanas investigando antes incluso de comprar una aspiradora).

Cada miembro del personal con el que nos encontramos fue un modelo de profesionalismo. Desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestro desayuno de despedida (exquisito, por cierto), cada momento estuvo marcado por su esmerado trato. Surgió un contratiempo inesperado con nuestra iluminación en el último minuto, pero María entró en acción de inmediato, asegurándose de que todo saliera perfectamente.

No se trata sólo del lugar o del servicio, es la sensación de seguridad y felicidad que no tiene precio. El valor que recibimos superó con creces el gasto, e incluso si hubiéramos ganado el Eurojackpot, no cambiaríamos nada de nuestro día especial.

Para aquellos que buscan un lugar para celebrar bodas que combine un servicio profesional con un ambiente íntimo y hogareño, recomendamos de todo corazón Mas Palou.

Vam celebrar la nostra boda a Mas Palou aquest cap de setmana passat i ha estat una experiència meravellosa. Tothom ha estat súper a gust. Es nota el carinyo que fiquen a tot, a les cases (on hi trobareu tot allò que us puga fer falta), l'atenció, en l'esmorçar, el vi, la cura que hi tenen de l'entorn i en absolutament tot. Tothom que va vindre i qui es va quedar allotjat allà ens ho va dir. Moltíssimes gràcies de cor!

Mas Palou es una casa muy bonita y cómoda. Decorada con mucho gusto manteniendo su origen pero siendo a la vez muy confortable. Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado. Hemos pasado un fin de semana increíble en un entorno muy bonito rodeado de viñas. Maria ha sido muy amable con nosotras y nos ha recibido mejor imposible. Ha estado atenta a cualquier necesidad en todo momento. En definitiva, una experiencia 10 que repetiremos sin duda.

My wife and I have a real love affair with Mas Palou, the place, but also with the family that runs this incredible place.
Mas Palou was the place where we had the most beautiful day of our lives, our wedding. This magical day had the perfect setting: a typical place, which knew how to keep its soul. Beyond the beauty of the place (everything is carefully organized), we were conquered by the atmosphere that emerges, all orchestrated by an extraordinary family. Maria knew how to welcome us, make us discover the property and the projection was immediate. It was the ideal place to gather our family, our friends, and live with them this unique moment. We were able to accommodate 21 people, who all had an unforgettable stay, in total comfort.
Mas Palou was a major player in the success of our wedding, and we will be eternally grateful. We look forward to returning, and I encourage anyone to come and experience a region, a culture, a family and an unforgettable place.

Situado a sólo cuarenta minutos de Barcelona, ​​Mas Palou es un oasis fuera de la bulliciosa ciudad. La finca cuenta con múltiples piscinas, jardines, vistas a los viñedos, hamacas, una capilla en la propiedad y los anfitriones más acogedores.

¡Era mi segunda visita a Mas Palou y está mejor que nunca!

Llegamos temprano en la tarde para nuestra estancia. Mi pareja y yo disfrutamos de las vistas del atardecer sobre los viñedos mientras jugábamos con Pisca, la genial mezcla de pastor alemán. Nos alojamos en Casa San Jaime. Hay una acogedora sala de estar, cocina con todo lo necesario y vistas a la capilla y los viñedos.

Por la mañana, María tenía un café fuerte esperando. Nos encantó nuestra estancia allí y estamos ansiosos por volver.

Mas Palou está justo en medio de la región vinícola del Penedés. Se siente como todo lo que sigue el modelo de Napa. María es sumiller y puede dar recomendaciones sobre dónde probar el mejor cava y pet nat de la región.

Mas Palou también elabora su propio suministro limitado de aceite de oliva y vino. Realizan envíos a los EE. UU.en caso de que no quieras traerlo de regreso tú mismo.

What a beautiful place to spend time! The wine is also delicious and so reasonably priced compared to wines in Napa.

A bonus: incredibly fast WiFi at 94 Mbps.

This is such a beautiful place! Anna and Maria make it very special, along with the rest of the family. It is truly a magical destination that was a relaxing place to write and enjoy time with friends. So many spots to read and write and take in the countryside along with the food and wine.

We did a company retreat at Mas Palou and it was an amazing experience. Everyone at Mas Palou is very friendly and receptive. The food is amaaaaazing. All the rooms are very cozy and the location provide a nice escape from the city at the same time carries a lot of history.

For a team retreat it was great to escape for a few days, get everyone together and bond people. There's a conference room that provides everything you need.

I have been looking forward to visiting Mas Palou for such a long time, and my stay was beyond even what I could have imagined! Mas Palou is so beautiful, dreamy, comfortable, impeccably well-maintained, and so welcoming. The Valles family has done an extraordinary job taking care of the historic buildings and grounds. The breakfast is a *must* order-everything is locally sourced or homemade and absolutely delicious. The tortilla espanola-made using eggs from the chickens on the grounds-was probably our favorite. The homemade granola, yogurt, fresh seasonal fruits, meats, and cheeses were also unforgettable, though! The olive oil-made using olives grown and harvested by Mas Palou-is the best olive oil I've ever tasted. We purchased 5 bottles to take home to give away as gifts to our loved ones because we enjoyed it so much.

Our group included a 1-year-old, and Mas Palou provided a high chair and travel crib which worked perfectly for our needs. The accommodations themselves-we stayed in Casa Cerda-were beautifully maintained, sparkling clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and so comfortable. The kitchen is large and well stocked with cooking equipment. The bathrooms and showers are spacious and renovated.

Mas Palou is a labor of love, and it really shows. Maria is a *gem* who truly cares about welcoming her guests and helping them enjoy every minute of their time in Penedes. Mas Palou is her childhood home and she is a sommelier, so she knows all the best places to eat and drink! Our favorite winery to visit was Pedregosa. Highly recommend the wine and delicious tapas! Starting next month (June 2022), Mas Palou will begin producing its own wine from the grapes it grows, so it will be a real treat to get to taste that when it is ready. For international travelers, Maria speaks fluent English-she spent 7 years studying and traveling all around the world-so if you don't speak Spanish or Catalan you can be assured that she will communicate with and guide you extremely competently.

My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Next time I visit Barcelona I think I will skip the city and just come straight to Penedes:) I cannot wait for my next visit and I know I will not hesitate to book another stay at Mas Palou. <3

I hired all 3 house's in April 2022 to spend a long weekend with my girlfriends who traveled from all over the world to celebrate my hen weekend. Maria, Anna, their mother, and the team helped me curate every detail from a flamenco performance through to massages, and put on the most spectacular breakfast. We all left with a bottle of their gorgeous olive and to be honest I would give them the 6th star for their hospitality! We will be back!

We held a small wedding at Mas Palou last week and the whole experience was incredible! Highly recommend this little vineyard to any couples looking to host a small wedding. It is a family run business run by the eldest daughter, Maria. We stumbled upon photos of Mas Palou and we reached out to see if they would accommodate our micro wedding of just 8 people. We set-up a call with Maria to discuss what we wanted and organized a visit to the venue. Within a week, our wedding was all organized. It was the easiest destination wedding to arrange. Maria was so helpful! Following our discussions, she reached out to local suppliers and helped us source the best cake and flowers for our wedding. This was so helpful given that we did not live in Catalonia and could not speak any of the local languages. Maria listened to what we wanted and helped us curate the perfect wedding. She was so patient with us as we changed our minds multiple times.

Our family all stayed on the property and we rented the entire venue for the day of the wedding to ensure maximum privacy. When we arrived, the rooms were immaculately clean and the Mas Palou estate was groomed beautifully. I was so proud to bring my family to this beautiful property.

On the wedding day, the ceremony was held in the beautiful old chapel (all different religious denominations/ceremonies were welcome in the chapel). Owing to the heat, we decided the day before to have the reception in the barrel room. Maria has a keen eye for detail and everything was set-up and arranged perfectly. Her artistic touch made the wedding table and barrel room exquisite on the wedding day.

Maria’s mother, Adelina, prepared the food for the wedding and it was out of this world! After the ceremony, we popped sparkling wine and snacked on cheeses and a charcuterie board. After photos, we sat down to a delicious dinner of Fricandó and ate until we couldn’t eat any more. Each dish was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Mas Palou were generous with the portion sizes and accompanying wines. Every little detail was well done -including the local chocolate covered nuts which accompanied the wedding cake.

We opted to do breakfast at the estate following the wedding day as well. My family are still raving about the homemade cheesecake, fresh cherries and egg/potato bake that came with the breakfast. My family loved the pool and the facilities as well as their interactions with the family’s adorable and friendly dog – Pisca. We went for early morning jogs around the vineyards and all had a wonderful holiday overall.

We certainly were not the easiest guests to host but Maria and the Valles family hosted us with such grace and hospitality. I can only thank Mas Palou for all their help in coordinating and orchestrating this family holiday and wedding! I look forward to visiting again in the future!

MAS PALOU is a great house! I have been twice, first time with my couple, for a romantic weekend and it was amazing and a great place to relax. Second, with a group of friends and it was also great, the house had a swimmingpool and an table outside in the garden with bbq. Mas Palou is a great place, the hosts are super friendly and prepare amazing breakfast. The house is surrounded by vineyards which you can see from the bedroom when you wake up. I would totally go back! And it's only 30min away from Barcelona:)

Excelente experiencia en Más Palou! Es un lugar bellísimo y con encanto, donde poder relajarse o salir a caminar. Las casas rurales están completamente equipadas (cafetera, microondas, tv… todo para cocinar, etc), la limpieza es excepcional y el wifi funciona perfectamente. La piscina privada es genial, amplia, con zonas de sombra y sol, tumbonas, genial!
Lo mejor de todo es la familia Vallès que son súper amables y simpáticos y te hacen sentir como en casa.
Recomiendo y volveremos!

Hemos pasado los dias festivos de esta Semana Santa (del 14 al 18 de abril) en Cal Joaquim y la verdad es que ha sido una experiencia fantástica: María es una excelente profesional y estupenda anfitriona pues, en todo momento busca la solución a cualquier incidencia que se te pueda presentar. En cuanto a la casa decir que está en un entorno idílico rodeada de viñas y vegetación, siendo muy confortable y estando bien equipada, además de todo estar muy limpio (cocina, comedor, salón, 4 habitaciones y los 2 baños). También dispone de una piscina exterior, que si bien no es muy grande hace las delicias de los más pequeños siempre que tengáis la suerte de que el tiempo acompañe como nos ha pasado a nosotros. Por último dar las gracias a María y su familia por toda la buena atención recibida y como decimos en Catalunya fins aviat (hasta pronto).

La familia es un amor! La casa está súper bien mantenida, decorada y equipada. El desayuno es un lujo y el entorno inigualable. Es el lugar perfecto para relajarte y desconectar.
Te lo súper recomiendo!

Hem disfrutat d’un cap de setmana increïble. La gent del Mas Palou han sigut molt hospitalaris. Hem fet una cata de vins i un esmorzar preparat per ells. 100% recomanable. Esperem tornar aviat!
