Mellow Hostel Barcelona

No es como las fotos. El lugar está deteriorado, huele mal, es incompleto y, como dijeron otros, hacía frío y la manta no era suficiente.
También es muy cuesta arriba.
Evitar.

Llevo aquí tres meses y me siento bien.
Constantemente se realizan pequeñas mejoras.
La foto muestra la vista desde el dormitorio.

A typical hostel, cheap, but really clean, literally someone were always cleaning the places when I was there.:) They didn't give towel and bedding (only sheets, pillow+pillowcase and a blanket). The area is good, from the room windows you can see the Tibidabo and it is close to buses and metros too.

El peor Hostel que hemos visitado hasta ahora. Terrible ubicación, el Hostel de encuentra sobre una montaña empinada, nada práctica si vienen con maletas. La atención ma peor, la recepcionista ni habla español y es una completa grosera. Desaconsejo venir. No vale la pena.

Vas por Booking por un precio y llegando te dan otro.

La ubicación es bonita pero el acceso es matado son muchas subidas y escaleras.
El trato hacia los clientes es malo. Los dueños son de Marruecos o paquis no tengo nada contra ellos pero deberían tener un poco más de empatía y mejor trato con los huéspedes. Pagamos por un servicio.
Las camas está súper gastadas y son incómodas se siente el resorte en tu espalda.
No están limpias solo las limpian superficialmente.
La cocina compartida siempre está sucia y se roban la comida curiosamente de noche.
Prácticamente se desastre.
Y las Terrazas siempre están sucias.

It is not close to the center. Takes about 25-45 minutes to get to the center and the beach area. There is the V23 bus that drops you right at the corner of the hostel, which is great when you have your luggage with you. Otherwise within 10 minutes walking distance (keep in mind the climb) there are other public transportation options.

There is hot water, but the ladies bathroom sensory light is super annoying. Within seconds turns the lights off and doesn’t pick up the movement well, so you end up in the dark trying to wave all you’ve got to turn the lights on. The men’s restroom shower you have to constantly push the button or it turns off. No bathroom stalls lock. Showers only on first floor and bathrooms on every floor, so if you are on the 3rd floor you have to go down to shower and back up to your room

Small kitchen and patio open till 10pm.

Front desk not helpful at all or friendly. No maps, no idea how to get to places other than saying it’s on the internet.

Bunk beds have privacy with curtains, and lockers are available.

Keep in mind that it is not the cleanest and maybe because of its location the people trend to choose to stay here May not always be the most considerate.

Calefacción y silencioso para descansar. Si Es lo que buscas y por precio está bastante bien. Podes ducharte y cargar tus móviles.

Les falta sistemar bien el área de arriba no servia las cerraduras de los cuartos, y muchas otra cosas más que prefiero no comentar.mis disculpas però mi estadia no fue para nada grata. Apesar que le dije al encargado no obtuve ninguna solución, solo las disculpas.

Fue una estancia genial. El hostel tiene de todo. La limpieza está a la altura, pero lo que más me ha gustado es el servicio de recepción ️️ Aunque no sepas idiomas, allí encontrarás. Quien habla 8 idiomas ️

Fuimos con amigos y cogimos el apartamento del ático. Por decir algo bueno, el trato de los trabajadores fue correcto. Pero las instalaciones dejan poco que desear y no volveríamos a repetir. Cuando llegamos al hostal, hay que decir que la ubicación no es muy buena por las cuestas y la zona donde se encuentra, pero eso es lo de menos. Las habitaciones y las camas estaban llenas de pulgas y garrapatas. Tuvimos mala suerte y nos realojaron los trabajadores a otras habitaciones con literas compartiendo con otros usuarios. No fue una agradable estancia. La limpieza no es lo mejor del hostal.

We came very early in the morning due to our early flight. They took our bags and when we simply closed our eyes in the hang out area because our rooms weren’t ready and we hadn’t slept the whole night, they told us we cannot fall asleep in here. The beds are okay, lockers provided but payed a deposit for the locker key which we didn’t get back. The toilets were men and women shared so it was pretty uncomfortable sometimes. The showers where inconvenient because there was nowhere in the shower to put your stuff so it wouldn’t get wet and the light constantly went off. Staff was okay but threw us out on check out day. Waled us up from the bed and told us we had ten minutes to get ready and pack and leave the room so that was unacceptable. Also the people were so weird there. Mostly old weird men who would stare at you or sit around all day at the same spot in the hostel. You can not drink the tap water in Barcelona so you have to buy water from the vending machine. For that you had to have coins so no paper money or cards.

Hygiène déplorable, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, les draps des précédents occupants étaient toujours sur les lits. Je ne parle même pas de la poussière et les poils sous le matelas. Seulement 3 douches pour toute l’auberge et dont les portes ne ferment pas. Et les produits d’hygiène utilisés avaient une odeur insupportable.
La climatisation de la chambre qui soit ne fonctionne pas soit qui perd des litres d’eau et inonde la chambre.
Enfin la localisation de l’auberge n’est pas à son avantage même si ça nous le savions avant de venir.

STAY AWAY! Predatory behavior. Even if you book a fully refundable hostel through hostelworld and cancel, they will still charge your credit card and then you have to deal with getting it refunded from your card because they won't.

El hostel es muy bueno y linda ubicación. La atención y limpieza excelente! Detalle para mejorar ampliar la capacidad de refrigerar alimentos.
Y que dejen abierto un ratito más el balcón que es el alma del hostel. Jaja. Santiago Avalos

It's overpriced for what it offers.when I checked it online it said around 20 euros and when I got there they told me 45.the bed and pillow very uncomfortable too. It's ok as a last minute solution but it should be cheaper

Very good hostels, the rooms are very comfortable ans everything is very clean. The only small issue is that it is à bit far from the city center but there are many buses that serve the area

Es un lugar muy agradable y seguro. En cuanto a la limpieza son muy impecables. Las personas que atienden son amables. El edificio está en perfectas condiciones. He estado varios días y mí experiencia es muy buena. El barrio es seguro y se cuenta con un bus a pocos metros que te lleva directamente a la playa.

Location is a little bit annoying for foreigners, because you can reach this adres from different direction (from above with bus number 117 and v23, from under street by bus number 19.
You have to practice that at least 3 times but the situation is beautiful and healthy amid mountain pine trees.
And you should know that you have to use 2 transportation to get to destination; 2 buses or bus + tram, also by coming back vise versa.

Es un buen lugar para descansar, tienes la tranquilidad y la seguridad con tus pertenencias, puedes cocinar a tu gusto y estan todas las herramientas para hacerlo, de recomendacion en el aseo general utilizar mas desinfectantes y aromatizantes en los pasillos de resto excelente servicio,

Las habitaciones tienen muy mal olor no hay higiene de ningún tipo, las personas que trabajan no son amables, Se pierden las cosas, Te dicen un precio y después es otro, terminas pagando más,
Yo tube que irme de hay el peor alojamiento que he estado en mi vida ‍️
