Oxford House (Barcelona) is great and I strongly suggest it, if you want to brush up your English, please do not waste your time and take course here.

Muy buena experiencia con esta academia. Yo hice el curso de inglés B2.2 Intensivo con la profesora Sinead (nativa irlandesa) y, tanto por la metodología seguida como por la dinámica de la clases, quedé muy satisfecho. A mitad del curso nos hicieron una encuesta + entrevista al grupo para valorar qué estaba yendo bien y qué se podía mejorar y eso se agradece porque nos permitió refozar aquellos aspectos que consideramos mas importantes.

Just finished an Intensive Course in Spanish B1. The teacher Raul was very kind and helpful and I enjoyed the classes thoroughly! They definitely helped me kickstart my use of the Spanish language, get familiar with grammar and get more comfortable speaking even if it's not perfect. The 4-times-per-week format is a little too much for me however, so I will check on what other less frequent courses I can take

Waste of time. They never pick up the phone nor read any of the info you give in the contact form. Avoid.

Well, I can’t really review the quality of teaching as I didn’t get any opportunity to sign up. I came twice to sign up, but on October I could do only 2 weeks out of 4, like from 7 to 20th and to restart in November. First time they told me that I’d better come on oct 3-4 to verify if there is any spot left in the group to sign me up, because their priority are the people who sign up for 4 weeks, which is understandable. But when I went second time, they told me that I could sign up only for the last two weeks of October, because they have an exam by the end of the month to evaluate my knowledge. Well, this is also understandable. But if I don’t make an exam I can stay on the same level. What’s the problem, especially if my goal is to refresh my spanish and have everyday practice. Not to pass DELE. And although it’s not my business, but honestly I’d expect more flexibility from the language school, because with that strict approach I didn’t feel very motivated. If I have to travel sometimes of whatever reasons, there are no conditions for me to freeze the course, to move the dates, etc.
So, all in all it was not very positive experience, probably it was just a bad luck:)

Don't ever go there for Spanish! They aren't serious at all. Not only their Spanish classes are terrible but also they are rude. The teacher literally made us speak among each other 70% of the time (A2 students) and taught us NOTHING. When I spoke up, as well as many of my class mates - 50% stopped going, they said they would put me in another class and then pretended I would pay for it.

Muy buena academia de ingles! Los profesores son nativos, el ambiente es muy bueno y agradable. Mi profesor fue Jack y gracias a los consejos que nos dio para afrontar el examen, mi hermano y yo conseguimos aprobar el First.

La academia cuenta con excelentes profesores y profesoras nativas que hacen de cada clase una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Oxford House se caracteriza por combinar una enseñanza continuada con el empleo de las nuevas tecnologías. Cuenta con una plataforma virtual en la que diariamente se introducen nuevas herramientas para la enseñanza del inglés. Siempre disponibles a las necesidades de los alumnos. En mi experiencia personal quiero resaltar la labor de mi profesora Amy Grant siempre disponible a impartir una enseñanza transversal que combina tanto el interés particular de cada alumno con actividades de entretenimiento y diversión que hacían que el tiempo de la clase pasara volando. Mi preocupación como alumno es poder contar con personas muy implicadas en mi formación y en mi caso encontré desde el principio esa atención personalizada que necesitaba en esta academia. Sin duda volveré a estudiar en Oxford House, no solo por mi buena experiencia sino por la falta de excelentes instituciones que sean capaces de satisfacer con económicos precios las aspiraciones de cada estudiante en el inglés. Sin duda, Oxford House es una de las pocas academias con la cual redescubrí el significado de aprender una lengua.

Super nice and cheap language shool! I took Spanish course at a master school around this school, but the quality is bad compared with Oxford House. In Oxford House, I learned a lot of things every day. The lesson is very challenging. I took Spanish intensive course for three months and now I know basic Spanish. I am really satisfied with this school. Actually I recommended this school many friends. If you are here in Barcelona and look for good language school, you must choose Oxford House!

Profesora están muy bien, no lo sé cómo funciona el trabajo de recepción? He hecho examen de nivel inglés para que orienta un poco de que nivel de clase puedo apuntar. Hecho examen con el profesor de Oxford House. Que tengo nivel B2.2, me recomiendas que mejor que apuntar un nivel más bajo. Para fortalecer el inglés. Eso totalmente de acuerdo. Cuando fui apuntar el curso. Dice que está completa. Puedo apuntar el nivel B1.2.no tengo otro opción. Yo acepté. Pero me solicité con el recepción cuando hay hueco de nivel B2.1 me pueden cambiar? Me ha dicho que sí. Pero nunca me ha dicho nada. Ahora quiero cambiar un curso intensivo de nivel B2.1, me ha dicho que no! Sí yo he preguntado al profesora. Ella dice que sí! No entiendo porque las recepcionistas me da una respuesta que no! Me están cumpliendo la vida de verdad!
