Pars Tailor's Hostel, Barcelona

Fulfilled the brief, staff were friendly, facilities clean and good vibes. Night out wasn't very popular but we're that ebbs and flows. Reasonably capable kitchen, locker with key lock included. Excellent location, could walk everywhere (if you like walking)

Hostels are as good as your roommates. The experience here was the worst I've had in Euro travel because it turned out to be a highly social and open hostel while I'm a quiet solo traveler on a budget.
City tax per night charged separate from the 10 euro key deposit - only in cash. The bathrooms are very communal and few in number considering the 10 or 12 bed dorms they have. The air conditioning works late at night and infrequently. The doors never close and windows remain open so it's ultimately ineffective. No wifi except the reception. No quiet policy for sleeping hours.
It is never quiet. Be it night or day. Even at 2 am.it won't be quiet. Music on loudspeaker while someone is showering, loud reshuffling of luggage, snoring, loud catching up, drunk people coming back late and making noise. When I finally found a couch downstairs near the billiards table where there was no ventilation or AC, another guy thought 2 am was a brilliant time to make noise in the kitchen which is right outside the glass door. Just my luck. For the 2 nights I stayed there, I must have slept for a total of 3-4 hours. That too because I passed out.
Thanks Marcello and Kazu for trying to find a solution. Highlight of the stay was your understanding and effort.
If you stay here, I recommend getting a multi day metro card. Makes it easier to enjoy the city.

This hostel has everything you need including a great location near the main sights and subway, kitchen, a terrace to chill outside, and a lounge with AC if it gets too hot. The best part about this hostel is its vibe. Lots of friendly people and an open atmosphere makes it the ideal hostel for solo travelers. Shoutout to Kazu and RJ for going the extra miles for making sure everyone was having a great time!

Excellent location, friendly staff and great price. Would highly recommend to any solo travellers visiting Barcelona

Best of socializing

Mon séjour a duré une semaine.
Géographiquement l’hostel ce situe dans un endroit assez chouette près des beaux quartiers mais tout en étant au centre près du gothic et du quartier cosmopolite, hipster nommer raval.
L’hostel tient un story telling qui rend l’expérience agréable le faite de ce sentir au sein d’un atelier de couture catalan.
Son staff à jouer un rôle important car il était présent en organisant des sorties tout les jours gratuitement que ce soit des visites guidés ou des sorties en boîte avec entrée gratuite.
Pour ma part j’ai assisté à une soirée sangria et une soirée paella et fut fantastique.
En conclusion j’ai fais pleins d’hostel en Europe mais aussi en Asie, l’expérience au sein de celui la fut assez spéciale.

Me quedé bastantes días en este hostel. Y lo principalmente bueno de la estacia eran los empleados. Micki y Bryan muy divertidos, siempre proponían actividades para hacer o cenas en conjuntos. La dueña estaba siempre dando vueltas y era muy eductada y entretenida para hablar. Una vez hizo paella y nos dejó para nosotras 3 que estábamos ahí de buena onda. Re buena onda.

Luego de la declaración de la cuarentena, intenté comunicarme durante más de un mes con el Hostel sin obtener ningún tipo de respuesta sobre la devolución de mi depósito o la posibilidad de reprogramar mi estadía.

Una gran experiencia donde estuve super agusto y los empleados super atentos. Y tiene futbolin!

La atmósfera es única. Buena decoración y personal muy amable, te hacen sentir como en casa. Un abrazo a Lautaro del equipo de animación, las noches en Barcelona no son lo mismo sin él.

Extremely lazy employee, forgot his name but he is a larger Caucasian fellow who doesn't ever give a hand to help. He has zero customer service skills and wonder how he is hired there. Old lady that owns the place is nice. Beautiful place though, loved my stay there, also amazing interior design!

A very welcoming and social hostel with awesome staff, especially Mikey. The staff organize great nights out, the beds are comfy and the toilets are clean, there's not much more you can ask for!

I stayed at this hostel with some friends of mine for something like 9 or 10 days and it really felt like home. This is the best hostel I've ever been too. It has soul! The people who work there are absolutely lovely and it was honestly hard to leave. When we came back to Barcelona after going to Amsterdam, it was right back to Pars Tailor's. I can't say enough about this place. Absolutely will be going back and 10/10 would recommend to a friend. I am very grateful to them and their entire staff. Also the location is amazing. Thank you guys for an amazing stay.

No hemos llegado a estar debido a la cancelación del MWC. Resulta que anuncian a "bombo y platillo" que los hosteleros catalanes cobrarán el 50% de las cancelaciones. Y ellos nos cobran el 100%, sin haber llegado a leer si quiera los términos y condiciones. Una estafa en toda regla.en fin, si así es como cuidan a sus clientes, lo mejor a sido el no llegar ni a alojarnos en este establecimiento.
