Patrick Guide Barcelona

I had 9 guests from the US visit for 5 days. We wanted a historic overview of Barcelona especially the old town. We spent 3 hours with Patrick and found the experience we wanted. From Gaudi houses to the Cathedral and the rest of the Gothic quarter Patrick kept us entertained with his knowledge of the city. From historic facts he pulled us into a different time and place that was Barcelona. Even with a larger group we were able to ask questions and engage in conversation surrounding the ancient city. Patrick is by the far best tour guide we have ever experienced. With our first tour being a free city tour we did not know what to expect but were we ever impressed. Patrick puts any other tour guide to shame as he truly is passionate about his work beyond explanation. He goes above and beyond to connect with his guests and you do not feel like you are on a typical scripted tour. He is authentic and personable and makes you want to keep coming back for more. Beyond that Patrick gave us amazing suggestions for where to eat and other experiences that weren’t your typical tourist trap. He even gave us his suggestions for Madrid tapas that were by far the best we had experienced. We wanted authentic and to experience the culture like a local and not a tourist and he gave us that and more. We also took a tour of Gaudí and modernism or modernism and Gaudí as he would say the next day and the standards were just as high. We since have tried some other free tours and they do not compare. Patrick makes the tour!

Lovely tour! Having grown up in Chicago and being a huge Michael Jordan fan, the 1992 Olympic Dream Team always had a certain mystique to me. Lucky me, I found a tour in Barcelona that brought the Dream to life! I thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic views, the interesting anecdotes and walking the same olympic grounds that Magic, Bird, MJ, etc.all walked nearly 30 years ago.
