Sabor de Barrio, Barcelona

I lived next door to Sabor de Barrio for 4 months and went there almost every day, sometimes just for a coffee in the morning, sometimes for food and sometimes to drink. I've been there at least 100 times.

I didn't go just because it was convenient for me, I went because the coffee is the best in the neighborhood, all the food was delicious (I tried almost everything on the menu) and the beer was always cold, fresh and cheap. The wine selection is also top notch and matches the food when you ask for a recommendation.

But the main reason I always wanted to go back was the friendly service of the Owner/Chef/Bartender - Antonio. The man is a one man army - fast as it is possible for one man to be, consistent in the quality of the food, and really hospitable to all new comers. The place always attracts quality clientele, It's family friendly and a great place for friendly young people to hang out, whether you're a local or a foreigner like me who doesn't speak Spanish. I absolutely love Sabor de Barrio, and I would go back 100 times more if I were still in Barcelona. I can't recommend this place enough.

La comida es espectacular, y sobre todo la atención, Toni el dueño es muy amable y le pone mucho amor a lo que hace. Volveré siempre y lo recomiendo a aquel que quiera pasar venir a pasar un buen rato y comer rico.

Experiencia super agradable! El sitio es muy acogedor y tiene una temperatura y iluminación ideal para relajarse. La musica tènue de fondo acompaña y invita a desconectar del mundo. Perfecto para pasar un buen rato con amigos o familia. El trato al cliente es muy familiar y agradable. Y por último, la comida es espectacular; esta rica, llega rápido y en proporción adecuada. Además si te lo sabes montar, el precio es totalmente asequible. La comida es artesana, hecha al momento y con productos frescos. La cocina es abierta y puedes ver en todo momento al propietario como prepara todo. Esto se ve reflejado en su sabor, es comida realmente excepcional. Si estas cerca del centro o de la playa, recomendado 100% para tomarte algo y relajarte.

Lugar pequeño de tapas, hay que ir temprano para tener sitio. Todo lo que hemos probado, nos ha gustado, el servicio con mucha amabilidad, aunque el Sr que atendía las mesas estaba por jubilarse, y no sé quién lo reemplaza. A veces el servicio demora un poco, pero vale la pena esperar.

Out of several tapas places in our visit, this one was by far our favourite! Very small, but the service was good and the food better! Lots of locals around, which is always a good sign!

Sitio pequeño, acogedor, con una carta que te sorprende con cada plato a cual mejor. El atún marinado de quitarse el sombrero y por no hablar del steak tartar. Un tesoro de barrio oculto al que habrá que volver una vez descubierto. Ademas de que el servicio es muy bueno, supereficiente y atento y mas cuando solo llevan sala y cocina entre 2 personas

The most amazing tuna tapas I’ve ever had. The mackerel was also special. Quaint little place that is not filled with tourists.

One of the best, if not the best, tapas I’ve tried in Barcelona. Good flavors and interesting combinations, don’t be afraid to try something new, they got you covered no matter what you’ll have! We had the eggplant, the mackerel, beef tartar (best I’ve had, ever), salmon with potato and wasabi, meat with chimichurri, and cheesecake! Can highly recommend all of them, 5/5! Very decent prices as well:)

Kleine und super feine Tapas Bar im Stadtteil ElBorn in Barcelona. Geschmacklich absolut spitze mit guter Auswahl an klassischen und modernen Tapas, guter Wein (unbedingt den Sangria Verde probieren). Personal ist auch freundlich. Es gibt nicht viele Plätze, also entweder reservieren oder um spätestens 19: 30 Uhr da sein. Top Empfehlung für Abends in Barcelona!
