Salou Park Resort I, Tarragona

Fui como monitor de un grupo y no fueron capaces de darnos mesas juntas o cercanas y para colmo nos intentaron engañar para quedarse con la fianza del grupo entero mitiendo y diciendo que nuestro grupo tiro botellas a la piscina cuando nuestras habitaciones daban al otro lado. ¡¡¡¡vergonzoso!

Gros complexe hôtelier, chambre avec 3 lits une place, pas terrible pour dormir à 2.
Attention aux horaires du buffet qui reste malgré tout correct pour le prix

Très bon hôtel, belles piscines extérieures. Très beau bar.
Hall d'accueil très chic avec un personnel accueillant. Chambres propres rien à redire, Terrasse super!

I really don’t have much good to say about hotel salou park apart from most of the staff the shower always flooded the bathroom the bathroom always stunk of piss the air conditioning is not worth a wank the down stairs toilet what everyone uses was flooded 10 days out of the 10 days I was there the electric always kept going the security is the rudest I have ever seen the opened some Russian lady’s door shining a touch at 1am to see if her electric went as well the poor lady screamed her head of he told another lady to be quiet and go back in your room because she come out to moan about the electric. Everyone from the 3star hotel next door can use are pool witch is tiny anyway the food is shocking if you like chips your ok cause that’s all you will eat this is no we’re nere a 4star hotel more like a 2 star would never recommend this place to anyone and would never come back I was out in salou with my missus and daughter and we see a guy who got me up on stage when it was a show at the hotel and he asked me if I wanted to buy cocaine! Never had such a bad experience not everyone’s is the same but mine and my friends and family have had a bad time I asked if we could find a solution in the hotel but didn’t get nowhere so will be taking this further when I get home.

Estacionamento muito mau, aparcamento no hotel 15 € por dia, quarto sem varanda é para esquecer, frigorífico paga-se, refeições razoáveis, casa de banho sem ventilador, toalhas muito gastas.
Praia muito boa, wi-fi falha muito.
Não recomendo.

We stayed in a double/twin room with sea view. The view was exactly as advertised, it was amazing, the view of the pool and sea was magnificent. Howevwe, when we entered the room at first there was a puddle on the floor, someone had left the fridge door opened and it had leaked in the room. As for the room, it was 2 single beds pushed together, the bed I slept on was very uncomfortable I woke up with a sore back. Thankfully on the second day I noticed a spare mattress was under the other bed so I swapped them over and it was much more comfortable. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, we woke up most mornings with a sore neck. The shower wouldn't stay upright and just slumped over which was really annoying. Be aware you have to pay for a safe, kettle and the use of the fridge (we opted not to do this as it is a bit of a farce for a "4 star hotel"). The air-con doesn't really work, it's just a noisy box. The towels provided are very old, dirty and are pretty much see through also not of them had holes in them.
There are only 2 lifts to the rooms, with 8 floors these are really busy, especially at meal times.
The pool is okay, a bit small, there is apparently a pool bar, however this is not in use and looks like it hasn't been for a very long time. I would also say there should be a lifeguard at the pools, as it is rather deep.  
The staff in the hotel are not the most welcoming, I would say that the manager, who walks about in a navy/black polo shirt is a very rude man. Caught him on many occasions barking orders to staff in front of customers, which is not very pleasant when you are trying to relax. However I must say Robinson and Isobel who work on the bar were very nice, and would have a little chat with us. I felt that all inclusive customers were treated differently to other customers. People paying for for drinks would get them in glasses whereas we were given them in plastic cups. Staff certainly preferred Spanish customers, and would have a full blown conversation with them after serving them and then tend to us.  
The entertainment was okay, however the music played throughout the day was very repetitive, they must've had a bank of 8/9 songs on repeat all day every day which got very tiresome.  
The food in the restaurant was edible, very bland and EXTREMELY OILY, which led to us feeling ill most days. On our last morning, my partner started to eat a fried egg, only to realise that the shell was still attached to it. My partner was up all night one evening being sick due to the food. The staff in the restaurant were extremely rude, on one occasion they had lifted my plate and moved it to another table whilst I was up getting myself a drink of juice without telling me. I had to look around the dining room to find my plate. They would take your drinks away when you were up getting more food, didn't see any of them smile. Not welcoming at all.

To end on a positive note, the location was ideal. Not right in the main tourist part where all the pubs are, but close enough to walk to if that is what you are wanting. The beach is a 2 minute walk away either down a steep hill or down stairs.  

Would we return? No
Would I recommend this place? No
Is it 4 stars? Absolutely not. I would give it 2 stars, 3 if I was feeling generous.

Not the best 4-star hotel I've stayed in as I didn't get exactly what I paid for, my bathroom stank and the place could have done with a fresh lick of paint.

Aunque la ubicación es muy buena y el servicio de bufet no está mal, no le daría a este hotel más de 3 estrellas. Los pasillos eran estrechos y tenían desconchones de pintura, al ducharse el agua se salía y la limpieza era muy justa. No hubo un solo día en el que nos dejasen un juego de toallas completo.

Vem anar-hi per un torneig de futbol, hotel a tope, bon servei, habitacions bé, bufet lliure variat. Animació als vespres. Ben ubicat per fer un passeig per Salou.

Horrible. Nos dieron una habitación ocupada. Nos cambiaron a otra donde faltaba una cama nos pusieron un plegatin y mi hija se fue al suelo por k le faltaban 4 tablas de somier. Las sábanas tenían pelos estaban mal lavadas. Horrible. No tiene 4 estrellas ni por asomo. La compensación por las molestias fue no cobrarnos el parking. Indecente.

Habíamos estado en un hotel de la cadena de tres estrellas y nos había gustado, quisimos repetir en uno de cuatro y fue un fiasco. Dejaba mucho que desear el mantenimiento de las instalaciones.

Very good place to stay. Lift can be very annoying, someone was on a mobility scooter waiting for 20 minutes just for the doors to open for him. Staff aren’t friendly at all, with exceptions, look as if they get annoyed when you ask for a drink. But good place to stay facility wise.

Bastante decente para un hotel de 3 estrellas no para 4 como tiene este, falta un poco de profesionalidad en los camareros del bar, en términos generales no hay queja.

+ La comida muy buena, aunque se repite el
menú. (las anchoas deliciosas).
+ Buena ubicación, a 5 min caminando una
cala y a 5 min en coche la playa.
+ Buena atención en recepción y camareros.
+ Hay parking en el hotel. (Pero es de pago).

- La limpieza del baño muy mala y las
toallas rotas.
- en las fotos se ve la piscina muy grande
pero no lo es; permiten colchonetas,
Flotadores, balones y cada 2 minutos te
Daban golpes en la cabeza.
