Sant Jordi Hostels Sagrada Familia, Barcelona

Sinceramente, primera vez en el Barça/primera vez viajando sola. Siempre me preocupó perderme la experiencia del Barça, pero el equipo de SJ Sagrade ha sido fantástico con mis recomendaciones. Muchas gracias a Cami por ser la extraordinaria guía turística del entretenimiento nocturno. ¡No podría haber tenido ni una fracción de diversión sin ti, leyenda!

Muy lindo albergue! El ambiente era fantástico, realmente disfruté de las comidas y de los recorridos por los pubs. Un agradecimiento especial a Cami y Bambu por una estancia estupenda

Primer albergue que reservé para Barcelona. Definitivamente está fuera del centro de la ciudad, pero también está muy cerca de la Sagrada Familia y está a solo 10 minutos a pie de la parada de autobús Hop on/Hop Off más cercana.
Muy limpio y el personal era muy servicial y amable. El albergue organiza eventos/cenas todas las noches para reunir a todos los huéspedes.

Me lo pasé genial alojándome en Sant Jordi. Impresionante lugar, gente encantadora. Me encantó especialmente el recorrido por los pubs con Cami.

Gran albergue, increíbles instalaciones y el personal, especialmente Alma y Cami, son leyendas, ¡lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

Nunca experimenté algo tan desagradable. Estaba allí en un viaje escolar. Al llegar había pelos en las camas. Las duchas y los baños estaban parcialmente infestados de moho y, por lo demás, extremadamente sucios. Encontré una cucaracha muerta en la ducha. Todo estaba mojado, todo pegajoso o calcificado. Las habitaciones son demasiado estrechas, en una habitación para 8 personas el pasillo entre las camas no mide ni siquiera 1 metro de ancho, te sientes como si estuvieras en prisión. Sólo se podía abrir una maleta a la vez y nadie podía moverse. La ventana estaba cerrada con llave y no se abrió, incluso después de varias solicitudes. El aire solo entraba a la habitación a través del aire acondicionado cuando estaba funcionando (completamente averiado en una habitación), y luego estaba helado, así que duerme con 8 personas en una habitación mal ventilada, de lo contrario te enfermarías. Las luces se apagan en todas partes a las 23: 00 horas, incluso en los baños. Entonces en las habitaciones sólo quedan las lámparas junto a la cama. Los limpiadores simplemente entran a la habitación y mueven las cosas. Ah, y las paredes son tan delgadas que puedes escuchar a los de la habitación de al lado hablando a volumen normal. Los secadores de pelo a veces funcionaban y otras no. La terraza de la azotea se cerró a las 22: 00 horas, después sólo hay que ver dónde se aloja. El desayuno fue una absoluta vergüenza. Los propios residentes del albergue tienen que lavar los platos después de su uso y, por lo tanto, están sucios. Entonces lo único que queda es un croissant seco de una bolsa de plástico. No hay agua, sólo jugo. En realidad, estás disgustado todo el tiempo que estás allí porque tienes que tocar algo allí. Nunca más.

Estuve en este hostel, fue muy bueno, fui al pub crawl con Cami y fue muy divertido! Volveré! Si van allá necesitan ir al pub crawl con Cami.

Viajero australiano solo aquí: estuve en Sagrada y me divertí mucho con alma y lolo, son las mejores guías; ¡¡¡altamente recomendado!

¡La mejor experiencia! Todo huele bien. La gente es querida, servicial, amistosa. Desde el primer día, todos me recibieron, desde la recepción hasta el personal de limpieza. Fuimos al otro albergue y todos fueron muy amables y serviciales. No quiero ir a otro albergue. Todo limpio, fragante, receptivo y muy querido?
¡Simplemente me encanta! Los staffs más dulces: Bambu, Martin, Lolo, Caroline, Merca, Geri y Diogo!

Posizione ottima in pieno centro.
Ostello molto bello e confortevole, con tutti i servivi necessari.
Personale preparato e multilingua.
Unica pecca un po' le camere, sono abbastanza confortevoli ma piccole e l'igiene non è il top, consiglio di portarsi lensuola da casa

Had a great experience here through and through. The location of the hostel is really good, as it seems like you can get everywhere in the city easily.

Also, even though the overall atmosphere is amazing, what really impressed me was the employees. All of them were super nice, especially Ceci, Sara, Eli, Nahuel, and Arianne. They were so friendly that it felt like I'd known them for a long time.

Can't wait to be back!

I left the St. Jordi Hostel Sagrada Familia a few days ago and now it is time to write the review aand its going to be a long one:)
I stayed in the hostel for nearly a month (longer than I ever stayed at one single place during travelling before) and with every day it started to feel more and more like home.
At first I want to say something about the stuff, because they are the main reason for the warm and friendly atmosphere of the hostel.
Thank you Ceci, Alan, Geri, Sara, Dave, Mark, Arianne and Sofi (Mentioning here that I actually am bad in remembering names, so it is possible that I forgot one or just haven't been lucky enough to meet all of the team) for all the talks, for all the recommendations you gave me, for the positiv vibe you create just by your presence.
Especially thankful for you guys answering my questions about Spanish and the offer to practice with you, even if my level have been at zero haha. I really appreciated!
Thanks to you Alan and Geri for all the times you played football with me, it was a pleasure and I enjoyed a lot!
Thanks to you Ceci for the nice talks even sometimes outside of your working hours, you made me feel very welcome and that meant a lot to me!

To Eli, Ali, Nahuel and the others from the entertainment team (Here I am sure that I am not mentioning all the names due to the same reasons as before) all of you bring an enorm amount of humour and motivation to the hostel. You've always been able to make the guests be in the mood to go out!
Thanks for the nice parties as well as for the calm talks. I really enjoyed the meals you prepared btw ;)

Now to general things about the Hostel:
The place is always clean and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped and gives the opportunity to cook for several people at the same time (what during my travel experience haven't been common in other hotels). The common area is big, it is a place where its impossible NOT to meet new people but also gives you cozy places to read, a big sofa to watch movies or a match in the evenings. There are several computers that you're always allowed to use. And not to forget a very cool feature, the pipe for all those who love to skate!

To end this long text now, I definitely will visit Barcelona again to improve my Spanish a bit more, so I to hope see you guys at the St. Jordi Sagrada Familia the next time!

We stayed at one of the three bedroom apartments, and found no problems - everything was pretty clean and clear, the other guests were quiet enough to be almost non-existent, and the staff was very pleasant and always tried to help. The apartment kitchen was a very welcome addition that came in handy, it was also well-equipped and clean. We did not attend any of the community events organized by the staff (tours etc), but it was kind of nice to see that they existed. The place is a 5-minute walk from the metro and was pretty easy to find and reach. As a whole the hostel was a great fit for our 4-day vacation in Barcelona, and it's a great cost-benefit place that I wholeheartedly recommend:)

Íbamos a para ahí dos días y terminamos extendiendo y nos terminamos quedando una semana, la gente que trabaja ahí es muy buena onda y la pasamos genial viendo los partidos del mundial con sangria y pochoclo. Si algun día vuelvo a Barcelona me voy a hospedar ahí de nuevo. Super recomendable

After a total of 24 nights over the last 40 days it's time to write a review.
It would be really easy for me to write "thanks to all the guys from the staff" but it wouldn't describe my experience here because when I booked at this hostel I was looking for a place to stay but what I found is a place to live.
Thanks to Ceci, Geri, Alan, Arianne, Sofi, Dave, Mark and Sara for the patience every time they had to open the door because I left the key in my room or taking my clothes from the washing machine because I forgot them. Thanks for the lovely chats and your contagious smile at every hour of the day.
Thanks to Allegra, Eli, Nahuel, Sasha, Alicia for the really good dinners, for the games (even if you gotta work on your beer pong skills) and the parties (a lot of parties).
Thanks to all the other staff members that I have met, but never had the pleasure to know well. There will be another occasion for sure!
Thanks also to all the people that I met in my stay, you will not find a friendlier environment than this.
But (there's always a but), I found out that there is a big negative thing about this hostel: you will be really sad leaving it.

P. S. If you read what I wrote up to this point and you still need to know something about the accomodations I don't get you, but I will make you happy:
The position is great, the environment is very clean, the common areas are really nice, large and functional. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Last but not least, they have tons of activities and most of them are for free and amazing.

Excelente hostel con la mejor onda posible! Los chicos del staff como Alan, Ceci, Geri, Ari, y todos los demás son increibles. Servicio 24 hs y con la mejor disposición siempre. Me hice muchos amigos y conoci gente nueva muy interesante. Las instalaciones impecables, las camas son comodas y la ubicacion es excelente. La verdad fue una experiencia muy bonita y se lo voy a recomendar a todos mis conocidos que quieran una linda experiencia en Barcelona

Book it. See if you can get a private room in one of the three bed apartments. Briliant staff, fab location, clean, quiet.cannot rate this highly enough. 2 minute walk to metro stops. About 1.5km walk from La Sagrada

Très très bien! Quelqu'un a l'accueil 24h / 24, calme, pas cher, une grande cuisine, un grand salon, a 5 minutes du métro, a 10 minutes à pieds du Recinte modernista San Pau, a 20 minutes à pied de la Sagrada Familia (ou une station de métro), sur la ligne de métro qui dessert quasiment tous les endroits a visiter. J'étais dans une chambre privée dans un appart (partagé) sous les toits

Estuve una semana en este sant Jordi y es espectacular. Esta todo impecable, las zonas comunes son muy lindas y cómodas y destaco sobre todo al personal, super buena onda y atentos. Si vuelvo a bcn vuelvo al sant Jordi seguro.

Très bien surtout quand votre réservation n'est pas annulé par erreur.

Nous devons aller dans un autre gest plus cher et bien plus loin. Car la personne de l'accueil ne m'a pas compris et a annulé une nuit en pleins milieu de mon séjour. Super pratique.
