Scobies Irish Pub, Barcelona

A nice Irish Pub well located (University Square/Plaza Universidad) where you can watch the games you like. Recommended.

Uno de los mejores Pubs en Barcelona, tienen gran variedad de cerveza y sidra.

Pese a no tener una terraza real (solo 3 mesillas) tiene muchisimo espacio dentro. La decoración es agradable y típica. Gran lugar para tomarse unas pintas con los amigos después de comer.

Su único punto negativo es estar pegado a la avenida por lo que hay mucho ruido de coches, aunque despues de un par de pintas ya ni te enteras.

Low key place with a good jukebox/music selection (old school without trying too hard), a friendly Irish bartender and a mix of tourists and locals. +1 because they actually carry Kilbeggan.

Friendly Irish pub just off las Ramblas Barcelona. Staff very helpful with advice on where to eat in local areas. Good and efficient service. Reasonable prices.

If you're looking for an Irish pub in Barcelona this place is the one to aim for. Got all the drinks you'll be looking for. Tayto crisps available and all the sports, including GAA.

Verbally abused by bar member. My party and I had a really upsetting experience yesterday the 22nd of March 2019. We were refused service based on us being a group of girls (5). We are all in our 30s and definitely not the loud kind. My friend was trying to get some reasoning behind the denial of service and after several attempts I told her to not entertain it anymore and let’s go elsewhere, to which the Barman shouted “entertain what you stupid b####! ” Needless to say I was shocked. He also shouted this across the bar in front of customers who looked equally appalled. Avoid at all costs ladies and gentleman as we certainly did not witness any Irish hospitality there.
