The place was comfy and cozy, no long waiting despite that I was visiting during the weekend night. Food was above average but the Manakeesh were excellent.

This place deserves all the praise that diners have heaped on it. We ate four dishes here, family style, and all four were delicious. I'll go ahead and recommend them, though I suspect everything is delicious. Our four were: beef hummus, fatoush salad, halloumi fatayer, and our favorite among favorites was the braised lamb shank.

Very nice surprise! Wide range of dishes, delicious and fresh, interesting flavours, great service. 5/5 - will come back:)

The service was awesome! We ordered the muhammara, the lahmaçun manoosha, and the braised lamb shank. They were all so good. Delicious flavors!

One of the best meals I have had in my life. I am 22 years old, and 22 x 365 = 8030, and if I had about 3 meals every day that would mean I’ve had 24,090 meals, and this one is better than almost all of them and is in my top 2, incredible. Omar is the man and makes every dish with passion and treats it like an art form.

A cosy small little place. Had the lamb shank, it was nice and tender. No overly gamey taste of lamb. They also served a welcomed twist to the usual bravas patatas you find in Barcelona.

Absolutely outstanding fusion from several middle eastern countries. Hands down one of the best food experiences in Barcelona. Great value for price, not too heavy food, tasty, healthy and good atmosphere!

Lo descubrimos paseando por lo encantadora de su terraza y su música. Ellos son muy agradables y la comida un 10. El hummus espectacular de sabor, y los flatbread a parte de visualmente preciosos, una mezcla de sabores exquisita. Apuntado para volver seguro!

We enjoyed very good, delicous, tasty and fresh lebanese food. Although the menu does not offer a lot of choices (small card) the food we ordered was just great (see the pictures below).

Exceptional food. Everything is delicious, always with a very peculiar taste, and with a very good price. The eggplant with nuts is a must. Staff and service also very good and friendly.

By far, one of the best Middle Eastern food places I’ve tried. Loved the vibe, the music, the chef, the kind waiters. But he’s off to the food in specific to the lamb shank, the muhamarah, the mezze plates and the sucuk flatbread. Everything was extremely well done. Would definitely rate this my favourite place in Barcelona ️

We sat down a half an hour before their kitchen closed and staff was still really friendly! The food was so unique and delicious, not the typical middle eastern meal. Highly recommended the Zaalouk.

Had some after-dinner drinks here after an overpriced disappointment - this place rescued the night.

Friendly staff, quick service, and even some complimentary snacks. Long live SimSim.
