I have been a member for over 2 years and I am generally happy as it allows me to work there from time to time, have rooftop lunches with friends and use the amazing gym.
However, service is very bad. Last week a roof top waiter was very rude and pretentious. I later heard him make a ridiculous comment about our table to another waiter, which made me and my friends feel uncomfortable and it’s unfortunately not the first time that I have felt unwelcome there. Management needs to review who they hire and their staff values - members and hotel guests pay a lot of money and expect to be treated well.

Espectacular club en la mejor zona de la ciudad. La terraza es espectacular y precios del menú bastante justos. Lo mejor el cine, el cuál hacen pree estrenos de películas

One of my best hotel experiences ever. Very nice club room, more british than spanish interior design, awesome vegan and vegetarian food and excellent service orientation. I was a bot amused about some of the less favorablle ratings here. Especially the amneties expectations are funny (see picture). How can one believe that 10 nice Cowshed Spa bottles a 330ml are ment as a takeaway Guess Sohohouse can be happy that they didnt take the furnitures on top plus the prices are disclosed and you have plenty of smaller amneties (face cream, lip stuff, toothpaste, etc of high quality that you can take home if needed). Back to the positive things: gym is awesome, location is close to the beach and downtown (both 15-20Min walking, Ramblas is closer). The rooftop pool, view and service is also great. Maybe a bit of a downside is the spa, it has a tiny sauna, no steam and a small pool. I didnt take any treatments though, but guess they are as good as in any Cowshed Spa.

Chaotic service in the rooftop, plus 80% of the service doesn't speak Spanish at all, which I find offensive as even if the club is full of expats, it's located in Barcelona, Spain, so I should be able to interact with the waiters in my country in my mother tongue. Lots of rotation of the service as well, which can indicate a poor management. Not enough (I would say inexistent) lights on the rooftop's tables so reading the menu in the evenings is challenging. Also, check your bill, it's never correct.

Fantastic cool and classy hotel, with some of the most attentive and polite staff I've ever come across. We have stayed in other houses, but the hospitality at Soho House Barcelona was exceptional. Thank you

At $600+ per night, most hotels offer extraordinary customer service. The Ritz, the Four Seasons, other Soho House locations, you name it and the service is great at this price point. This is NOT the case for the Soho House Barcelona. In fact, it is the exact opposite. It is laughable they consider themselves a membership club when they treat people so poorly. Who would want to become a member?

Service at the pool/restaurants is nonexistant. You have to actively follow or flag someone to get service and the servers are rude and not friendly (with a couple exceptions).

Beware the bathroom products are NOT complimentary as they are in most hotels! We took a couple bottles of the shampoo and conditioner that are in the shower and were charged with a $110 fee. When we inquired via email to management, we received no response. After a follow up, the replied their policy is to discuss and review the item prices with guests upon check in. This did not happen-there was no mention of the prices (not at check in, and also no signs in the room). Though the manager knows we were not told at check in, they would not budge on the price and we have to eat the $110 fee for a couple products that we would've left behind if we'd known.

Management's emails were not helpful or nice at all.

Rooms are nice but small, beds are small, pool is very small and your money could be MUCH better spent elsewhere!

Well, I haven't been there quite enough to be able to appreciate its advantages, but so far I am disappointed by it's quality in drinks and food. I know it's a British chain so these are not priorities, but been in Barcelona, the competition is fierce and an expensive and exclusive membership club needs to raise its game or it'll become just a travelling members brief stop over.
