Tienda estupenda donde puedes encontrar una gran variedad de productos americanos y si buscas algo muy concreto te lo buscan.

I’ve been an expat since 2012, so I have looked in all corners of the EU for such places. When I’m in the mood for American snacks and my care packages haven’t arrived, I go to American shops for a quick fix.

The shop is pretty standard like most that I’ve seen in the countries I’ve visited/lived. This place is quite small though and can get a bit crowded, which is not good. Especially with a pandemic. The number of people allowed inside should be restricted by a lot more. I don’t want to brush against someone just to get by.

Also, the variety here may not be vast, but they usually have what I’m after. Hot Cheetos, white cheddar Cheez-It, Kraft mac & cheese, etc. If they don’t have something, I ask and they might be able to order it. The cereal selection is great! Yes, prices are on the higher end, but it is what it is. You aren’t doing daily or weekly grocery shopping here.

Come for a splurge on treats you know and love, but don’t assume it will be the same as a store in the USA. It’s unreasonable to expect that. Take into account the import fees and shipping costs. This little gem of a place is a bit of comfort for people like me that are missing home and I’m glad to have it around.

Nice little shop with hard-to-find USA goods, very well located. The staff was very attentive. I will definitely come back!

Aquesta botiga, com la del carrer Balmes, ofereixen productes típics americans força recomanats. Pots comprar des-de la típica salsa a gots amb la bandera americana.

Una tienda sencilla pero con un montón de productos Made in USA, Oreos, cerveza Duff, y muchas salsas! También dulces, chucherías y preparados para hacer pancakes y pasteles.
El chico que atiende es encantador y te asesora para que elijas bien. También hay gorras y banderines.

Aquesta botiga, com la del carrer Balmes, ofereixen productes típics americans força recomanats.

Un sitio para cumplir antojos, pero el horario no es el más adecuado. Estuvimos un rato esperando para que abrieran, la chica que atiende todo ok.

Productos agotados de manera casi crónica, estanterías muy vacías, una tienda que va a menos. Si quieres algo que acostumbraba a comprar llama antes o harás el Viaje en vano

Taste of America is an american food shop located in Balmes Street.
This chain of shops was founded in 1995 in Madrid, but now they have eighteen shops in the whole country.
We have chosen this place because we really like this kind of food.
The local is very spacious therefore they have a lot of products and all of them are very well organized.
The staff is really kind and they can also recommend you some of their gourmet products.
It is very special because their products are unusual and they all come from the USA.
It is quite expensive because of the importation of food.
We think that if you have never gone to the USA you can taste a few of their products and feel like as if you were there for a short time.

We were a group with children and the place seemed not suitable for that. But we were happy and the stuff were very professional.

Aunque los precios sean algo caretes (normal, viniendo de importación) los productos merecen la pena. Y la chica que te atiende es muy buena persona.

La mitad de las cosas que había visto en la página web no las tenían y la dependienta no conocía los productos que les estaba pidiendo. Bastante desencantada.

This is exactly the store I needed in my life. In a single visit I was able to buy everything I was looking for: Pop Tarts, maple syrup, Lucky Charms, cream soda, Dr. Pepper, marshmallows, relish. Thank you for existing, Taste of America! And yes, the prices at least double the ones in USA, but it's way better to purchase them in-store than ordering online and paying a ridiculous shipping fee.

Precios razonables aunque un poco altos. Productos originales americanos de gran calidad. Buen trato de lo dependientes.

I enjoy this store's variety of American products but I find the prices a bit too high. The quality of the products is good and the people are always kind.

He estat a aquesta tenda com a la de Balmes, i s'ha de reconeixer que aquesta es mes petita i per tant, hi ha menys coses per escollir. Butterfinger, Twinkies, Pringles dels sabors que no hi estem acostumats a veure a les tendes, coca-cola de vainilla, entre moltes altres coses.

No obstant el petit detall de que la tenda d'Aragó es mes petita, els depenents d'ambdues tendes sempre estan a la teva disposició i t'hi pots passar una bona estona mirant el que hi ha. Molts productes no els trobes enlloc a no ser que els busquis per Internet.

Com tot, te un però: Els productes sovint són cars, però és degut a la importació i als alts i baixos de les divises.

Tot i així, de tant en tant val la pena passa-hi, ja sigui a la tenda del carrer Aragó o a la de Balmes.

Tiene una buena variedad de productos americanos, que mi hermano y a mi nos encanta. En ocasiones tiene productos abiertos para que los puedas probar, por ejemplo, la última vez que fuimos tenían tostadas con mermelada y crema de cacahuete.

Une offre intéressante et un beau local. La boutique est un peu petite mais bien agencée. Les prix sont corrects.
