The George Payne Irish Pub, Barcelona

Se llevaría las 5 estrellas, sino cobrarán entrada, puesto que no deja de ser un bar musical. Donde a quedado la consumición mínima?

I won’t say anything other than the fact that this “margarita” was €9 (and no I didn’t drink half of it already, this is how it arrived at the table)

Había ido muchas veces. Sorpresa nueva hoy: para entrar se tienen que pagar 2€ por persona. Para entrar a un bar. Una pena, estas decisiones hacen perder a muchos clientes.

This place never fails to offer BAD SERVICE. It seems as if the servers don’t want to be there, and the food always takes too long.

Do not go here if you're looking to watch sports. They are very messy with their TVs, changing channels every few minutes and then don't show the games they advertised. Food is bleh. Staff is rude. Better go to one of the many other pubs in Barcelona.

Don't recommend going to this place. They adverstise they have "NFL sundays" and even charge cover to enter but then they will show the same soccer game on all TVs and not show NFL. We asked several times to please put on the NFL games but staff (including a manager) were very rude and unhelpful so we had to leave and look for another bar.

The place is really good to watch Football games and Nfl games the only bad part is that some of the staff are rude and really the manager should train them to speak a bit more nicer to the customers.

Be aware that to come inside the bar you need to pay a mandatory tips 2€ the wednesday tuesday and friday. 2€ to pay a dj to play karaoke music.

Don't bother. The drinks are nice but the bouncers have ridiculous policy about capacity. When we were told the place was full (it wasn't, we had friends inside and they said there was plenty of space), we offered to wait until some people left, they still refused, and told us to go to another bar.

Local donde ir a tomar copas y a ver música en directo. Suele estar hasta arriba de gente, hay que ir relativamente pronto porque sino no encuentras donde sentarte. También se puede cenar, pero yo no lo recomiendo, puedes comer en cualquier otro sitio mejor de precio.

Te cobran 2€ por ENTRAR y se tiene que pagar en efectivo. Dicen que el dinero es la propina para los camareros (nada de tarjeta!).

Luego dentro, la media pinta 4€ y la grande a 6€.

La cantidad de comida a bajado muchísimo, no tiene nada que ver.

Mucho ruido, la música demasiado fuerte, no se puede no hablar.

El sitio ha perdido mucho, una pena. No volvemos.

Pedimos 2 coronitas y nos sirvieron 2 lagunitas a 6€ cada una y no hay bicho viviente que se lo beba.
Al margen de eso, no volveremos porque ahora te cobran 2€ solo por entrar.

This was an OK experience. The younger crowd took me right back to my teen years, lucky enough I was there with a friendly group from my hostel who made the experience anything but hostile. Slightly expensive drinks, long bar lines and sticky bars make this a 3 star bar for me. But, I am sure it is 5 star for others.

Muy buen sitio especialmente para para amantes del fútbol y para los jóvenes. Si buscas pasarlo bien con buena música, buena cerveza y karaoke este es tu sitio. Si buscas tranquilidad no es tu lugar.

Un sitio super divertido, buena cerveza y buena musica. Muy buen ambiente con mucha fiesta. Lo único malo es que te cobran por todo: entrada, cargar movil, caja para llevarte la comida sobrante.

Go to Dublin for good Guinness. Beer was stale, and it's cloistered away in a dark basement. If you came to Barcelona to sit in a basement and drink stale beer, go for it.

Pub irlandes que esta bé. Hi han altres pubs que son més autentics. Aqui entres i no et transportes a Irlanda. Notes que encara estas a Barcelona, encara que al teu voltant, nomès son turistes.

Me encantó esta cervecería irlandesa. La decoración es preciosa. La carta de cerveza no es muy extensa pero correcta, destaco la guiness, murphy’s y la sidra. Media pinta sale a 4e y una pinta a 6e.

Si vous passez à Barcelone, je vous recommande vivement ce PUB!?

J'ai passé une des meilleures soirées là-bas avec mes amis. Les soirées karaoke du jeudi soir sont exceptionnelles!

Le personnel est accueillant, les cocktails sont très bons, les toilettes sont propres. Que demander de mieux?

Hollie was great and sorted a last minute reservation for us. Note if you’re travelling from outside the EU you need to pay by IBAN to reserve tables (we used Monzo).

Drinks were flowing, there’s loads of drinks offers and the wings were
