Vegetalia Gotico, Barcelona

Al pasar las Navidades en Barcelona en el 23, busqué los diez mejores restaurantes vegetarianos y apareció esta joya. Fue fácil de encontrar, el personal fue rápido y servicial, todos hablaban inglés, lo que me facilitó el pedido. Sus recomendaciones fueron perfectas. Para el almuerzo probé el curry tailandés de tofu con arroz negro. Súper delicioso y abundante también. Caminé durante 5 horas haciendo turismo y luego regresé alrededor de las 7 p.m. Para cenar. El dueño me recomendó el seitán empanizado frito con champiñones y arroz y yo también pedí la ensalada César. Ambos fueron increíbles. Tienen opciones tanto vegetarianas como veganas además de postres sin gluten. Restaurante vegetariano muy recomendado en el corazón de Barcelona. ¡Échale un vistazo!

¡Me encantó cenar en este restaurante! La comida es estupenda y está llena de sabores. Todo lo que pedimos estaba delicioso. Recomiendo encarecidamente probar las paellas.
El servicio es muy lento. Al menos lo fue cuando estuvimos allí. Pero ten paciencia porque la comida lo compensa.

Nos lo pasamos bien, buena comida, lo recomiendo para cualquiera que quiera pasar una velada vegetariana.

En un breve descanso del Reino Unido, me complació mucho encontrar un excelente restaurante vegetariano. Tan bueno, vinimos dos veces durante nuestra estancia. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa y los camareros amables (y serviciales con nosotros, los británicos inútiles sin habilidades lingüísticas;). La paella fue increíble. Totalmente recomendado.

(¡Volveremos si volvemos a visitar el Barça!)

El peor camarero del planeta! Lo llamamos 3 veces para pedirle comida y nos miraba con esa cara de mala onda (la que tiene seguramente de nacimiento).
Que espanto trabajar en un lugar q odias y tratar a la gente de la misma manera.
Personajes como este hacen mal a un negocio.

As a foodies living in Barcelona 12 years, Really don’t think this veggie restaurant offers decent food considering I have been trying all the vegan/veggie restaurants in Barcelona. It is such average and disappointing food! The portion is extremely small and the food tastes way too average for the price it asks. Huge disappointment! Don’t get it how this restaurant got such a good review!

I liked the empanada and ramen. Their menu design could be improvised to make it easier for foreigners to understand. Another observation from my friend is that, why should the baby caring restricted to women's washroom? Does that mean you are excluding father caring babies?:)

Hemos visitado con una amiga, trato ok, comida buena aunque no me enamore. Supongo que es question de gustos, toda la carta lleva cebolla en grandes cantidades y ai eres alérgico/ no te gusta, la carta se hace muy limitada. Plato de nuggets muy empalagoso aunque la Heura espectacular, eso hay que admitirlos. No es ni el mejor ni el peor restaurante veggie he he visitado.

Interesting menu including gluten free options and they are marked on the menu! The meat free chicken also comes gluten free and worth a try!

Es un dels vegetarians que s'ha de provar de Barcelona, perquè hi ha menjar per a tots els gustos, desde pizza fins a heura. Increible, segur que hi torno si es sumen a la red d'envasos reutilitzables Bûmerang.

El restaurante Vegetalia es de los mejores restaurantes vegetarianos de Barcelona. Tiene una buena relación calidad precio. Puedes cenar por solo 10 euros si estás atentx a las ofertas o disfrutar de platos más elaborados de la carta. Siempre que tengo un momento y paseo por el centro me llevo su exquisito plato de Heura. Para mí un 10, pero me gustaría más si me pudiera llevar mi comida en un envase reutilizable Bûmerang.

I wish this place was in the United States! It was a very high quality restaurant with a beautiful ambience. We had kombucha and salad and dessert.nothing has too much sugar and everything is SO flavorful. We went to Teresa’s Juicery and found a similar menu the following day. Amazing.

This is a lovely little vegetarian cafe only slightly off the tourist-beaten path. We stopped in for lunch and I had the premium burger (seitan) and a cortado cafe. The seitan patty was flavorful with a nice texture (maybe a little too soft) and came with vegetable chips. I opted for the freshly baked bun instead of rice and salad, although I'm unclear on whether choosing the side over the bun meant it would've come with a store-bought bun or no bun-if the bun were replaced with a run-of-the-mill bun I would probably suggest going with that and getting the extra side instead. There is cozy seating inside, but they also have outdoor seating (with 10% gratuity added).

Decent vegan food. I tried the paella despite the bad reviews - it was totally fine, tasty even! Nothing like "old dusty toenails" described by another review here. My father really enjoyed the ceasar salad.
Vegan pizza slice was okay, had vegan cheese, but nothing special.
They have outdoor seating in the George Orwell plaza.

Mil gracias a los empleados. Calidad precio inmejorable. Nunca fui a un vegetariano y gracias a ellos repetiré. Me encanta el estilo desenfadado y la empatia del personal. Un abrazo

Very tasty dessert. Good coffee too. We also had humus with mushrooms. Waiter was nice and quick. Good feeling paying a tribute to George Orwell while eating a dessert and sipping coffee.

Nice staff, lovely food and a great location! I would really recommend the Heure no-chicken and crema catalana!

Primera vez que voy al sitio, me llamó la atención por las opciones veganas. Tardaron como 10min en calentar y seevir un par de trozos de pizza. Pedí una clara y nunca llegó. Y ni se despidieron de mi cuando salí del local. No vuelvo a ir mas.

We have visited Barcelona 5 times and have eaten at Vegetalia on four of those occasions. We have never been disappointed with the quality, quantity or value of the meal. Always very tasty.
The staff are friendly and accommodating - looking after us foreigners who do not speak Spanish.
We always schedule a lunch or a dinner at Vegetalia during our visits - and recommend that you do too.

Eat the grilled tempeh and cheese loin and then tell me that's not the greatest meal you've ever had. SO GOOD. We visited twice and each time was brilliant. The lunchtime menu is a real bargain and the portion sizes are huge.
