A Ri Rang, Madrid

Even though this place is not run by Koreans and probably some people feel the foods are not authentically Korean, I would not complain much. Food, like other elements of a country's culture, changes and some people prefer locally modified varieties. When I passed by the restaurant and when I had bibimbap there, I noticed that it was full of diners. If they are happy, they are happy! It is all that matters. There is no need to make unpleasant remarks about the restaurant and its management. I had translated Korean cuisune into English over nealy two decades and as I am living abroad, I have noticed that it is becoming more and more common for cuisines and the catering industry to cross over traditional boundaries of different countries. I like the name and the beautiful wall deco of this restaurant. And I appreciate the restaurant owner and staff for providing well-known Korean dishes to Madrid citizens and tourists. Thank you!
