AC Hotel by Marriott Recoletos, Madrid

Como miembro de recompensas de oro de por vida en su programa, ciertamente sé lo que una propiedad como esta debería estar a la altura. Muy decepcionante. Y todo se reduce a un problema evidente.el personal de hotel más grosero con el que me he encontrado. Cada uno de ellos. Soy un alto ejecutivo de gestión de la experiencia del cliente, vestido de punta en blanco y conocido por mi personalidad afable, por lo que es una locura entrar en contacto con tantas personas desagradables bajo un mismo techo. No son un reflejo de la gente guapa de Madrid. Es como si el gerente buscara a los peores madrileños vivos y les dijera: "¡Eres justo lo que estaba buscando! ". Me despierto la segunda mañana pensando "Es un nuevo día maravilloso". No. Un nuevo turno de maldad. Restaurar la experiencia del cliente es mi profesión y este grupo definitivamente sería un desafío.

Excelente hotel en una ubicación tranquila pero muy céntrica. Habitación grande. La comida en el restaurante fue sorprendentemente buena. Gran reconocimiento como miembro élite platino de Marriott.

En general, es un buen hotel dentro de la cadena Marriott, sin embargo, no entiendo la fascinación con los baños de bolas de cristal que no ofrecen suficiente privacidad y puedes escuchar los ruidos todo el tiempo, no quiero que me despierten en el medio.de la noche por mi pareja tirando de la cadena.es elegante, sí, ¿es conveniente? Definitivamente no

Realmente excelente ubicación con muchas tiendas y restaurantes a poca distancia. Fácil de caminar al centro y en una zona tranquila. El personal también fue muy hospitalario.

Fyi: no hay congelador en la habitación y no hay mucho espacio en la nevera debido al mini bar en la habitación.

Las opciones de desayuno son fantásticas, pero no hay muchas opciones para la cena. Sin embargo, hay muchos restaurantes geniales cerca.

A 350 euros la noche, este hotel es demasiado caro. Sí, el personal es amable y las habitaciones están limpias. Pero a este precio, las habitaciones podrían ser mucho más grandes, los conciertos de jazz podrían incluirse y al menos podría haber una opción para transmitir contenido multimedia en el televisor.
A mitad de precio, estaría de acuerdo con la calificación de 4,5 estrellas, pero para mí esto es 3 estrellas en el mejor de los casos.

Me he alojado aquí dos veces. Es bastante básico pero bonito. Ubicación decente. Me volvería a alojar allí de nuevo.

Personal muy amable, lugar céntrico situado en calle tranquila. Buena cocina y limpieza. Recomendable 100%, parking económico.

Visiting from Miami. Stayed here twice (before and after a gastronomy land tour to Andalucía, Extremadura and Alentejo). Great location for Retiro Park, Calle Serrano, Salamanca neighborhood; nice upscale value restaurants around (try Castizo Serrano and Alabaster). Nice rooms; clean and functional (and mostly quiet) with solid Air conditioning. Front desk folks are very communicative and friendly (cheers to Daniel and Monica). We are Marriott Platinum Elite for Life and this hotel is a keeper. We will be back with whole family.

Wonderful hotel in a great location, very clean, great well appointed rooms. This hotel offered everything my husband and I could have hoped for for a great homebase. We loved our room and all was more than we had hoped! Thanks!

Hotel muy muy bien ubicado en el centro de Madrid.
La atención de los recepcionistas es excelente en todo momento.
Tan sólo le encontré una pega. El acceso al parking. La entrada es muy muy estrecha y la maniobrabilidad dentro hay que tomársela con paciencia. También hay que decir que es de los más baratos para ser la zona que es.

Muy agradable y ituado en una casa señorial tradicional del barrio de Salamanca. Elegantes habitaciones con una decoración moderna y actuaciones de jazz semanales.

Quiet, very well located next to the Puerta de Alcala, very nice and above all the attention received at the reception at all times was exceptional and very professional. It is an ideal hotel to visit or do business in the city center.

This is a favorite for us and we go back every year. It is a boutique hotel with great staff that provide personalized service, it also has a great location in Barrio de Salamanca. Very good restaurants close by, Parque del Retiro is around the corner as it is also the metro station Puerta de Alcala.

Superb location. Superior room was as described on the website. There's a jazz bar in the ground floor with live music. Worst part was the gym: poor quality equipment and tiny.

Small but ok room. Breakfast is from 7am to 10am but it is not inluded and quite expensive (22 EUR).

I wouldn’t rate this place as five stars a rating of 4.3 or 4.4 would be more appropriate. While I didn’t have to wait for long to check in being a Platinum member would have appreciated a little better room, I was given a corner room with a balcony but on the road to the side. There were a couple of buildings with construction in progress. The hotel is also next to a Arts Center of a local university and during the day the place would be packed with students.
Given that said what really works for the hotel is it’s central location. It’s next to Retiro Park, Plaza Independence and also short walk from the Prado. Other attractions in Madrid is about a fifteen to twenty minutes walk, including Plaza Mayor and Puerta Del Sol. There are other hotels you can find next to these monuments however if you’re used to staying in a Marriott you will find the compromise appropriate.
The hotel is next to several good restaurants including those on plaza independence where you can sit outside get coffee or wine and some treats watching the crowd go by. Specially later in the year when these restaurants will have the fire going right next to you at night. In another six to eight months after construction surrounding the hotel is over this place will be hidden gem to pass by. A little pricey and I understand morning breakfast is a bit expensive but the coffee selection is great and staff friendly.

My husband and I was recently stayed in the hotel while we visited Madrid. The receptions were so helpful and friendly. We love our room so much and the location is close to everything.
We took a train from Barcelona to Madrid and there was a complimentary bus route to the hotel.

The room is nice and neat. My husband was not feeling well the second day of our visit and due to language barrier, I was not able to get the medicine at the pharmacy.
Thank to Adrian the front desk he went to the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist and help me got the medicine.
I am highly recommend and impressed by the service.

Fine shower needs a handle for standing older people not enough shelf space for placing toiletries
Breakfast: good selection only ONE attendant? Same at front desk? Waiting time over 15minutes?
