Llevo muchos años viniendo a esta clínica y es una maravilla; desde las manos de la Dra. Herrero y su ayudante Sara hasta el exquisito trato al cliente (Luis y Tomás, súper majos y profesionales), pasando por las instalaciones tecnológicas de la clínica (el escáner panorámico es una pasada; nunca he visto unas radiografías así). 100 % recomendable.
Clínica dental increíble con un equipo de 10! Todos súper profesionales y un trato espectacular. Me estoy haciendo el invisalign con Lucia y los resultados son magníficos! Hace un mes me tuve que sacar una muela y fenomenal el proceso tanto de la extracción como después de la extracción. Os recomiendo esta clínica sin ninguna duda! Gracias por como me estáis dejando de bien la boca! ️
Beware of this place! Horror.
I first visited this clinic in October 2021. Centro Dental Smiling by Marta Herrero Rodriguez is located in Madrid in Chueca at Hortaleza 70. I was initially drawn to this place because it looked inexpensive and convenient. Little did I know, their tacky decor is the last thing I should be worried about. I went there to replace a lost retainer and picked it up few days later. I was given 1 year warranty for a broken retainer. Not even a month later I realised that the retainer was cracked and I returned to the clinic and Sara, who is super nice by the way made a new one. Since I had own few of them I have noticed this was the thickest, most rigid and uncomfortable retainer I owned. I was assured this one would not break. I gave it a chance but due to unbearable pain I returned to the clinic. I have expressed many times that the retainer was the problem and in fact it was adjusted (to the point that half my teeth were not covered) but it was still painful. I recently was given an appointment with Orthodontist Lucia who decided in a moment that a new retainer is necessary. This time I was told I had to pay. When I asked to speak with a manager Tomas I was met with aggression, hostility and disrespect. After an hour of being held hostage and told that I am an ungrateful New Yorker I was offered 125 Euros back in exchange for the bad retainer. Great. I am still left with pain, without a retainer and left earlier today very disappointed. Yes it is true, they speak English, however they will curse you out in English as well. Even though it seemed convenient it does not have in-house staff- periodontist Ines and orthodontist only are available once a week and those appointments were re-scheduled with a two or three week wait time. Even though I was assured that this clinic has the latest technology everything is sent out to the laboratory and the wait time is at least two days for a retainer. In addition, the admin uses WhatsApp without a patients consent to send appointments that contain private information. I did have a cleaning done there once that left me with bleeding gums and cuts on the inside of my cheeks.
Seemed like a lovely place at first but I would not recommend it to anyone.
So this is my response to the owners comment.
I am not accusing you of malpractice I am I saying that you are SLOPPY with your work. Impressions for the retainer were done in the same day. In addition the many problems with my mouth have started at your clinic and with the faulty retainer. I have given you my time and chance to make it right and you have failed to do so. I believe that when Otrho finally confirmed that you have failed to do your job. I believe that you are telling your patients lies to schedule additional appointments and generate business.
I have not seen any professionals act in the way that Tomás and Luis did. In fact I regret not calling police.
As far as I know you have charged my debit card left and right. You have scheduled appointments based on my economic situation being aware of what I can pay. When your clinic finally removes the horrific beige polypiel then talk to me about economic situation. You advertise first visit as free and I have not heard of anyone that charges for x rays these days. In addition during the first visit I spent 170 Euros. Ive been to your clinic no more than 6 times and that could have been avoided if you did your job. Yes, I did return for an emergency recently that I highly regret. Marta, I believe that you would schedule a visit with a psychiatrist just to prove your point and to avoid providing a retainer that is done correctly.
Because your clinic does not have appropriate technology to do your job you send out most of your work to labs that raises prices of your services.
I as have mentioned, there are as many dental clinics as cigarette stands in Madrid and I am simply urging to anyone to skip yours and move on to the next.

I have had the best experience with Centro Dental Smiling! My level of Spanish is very low but they were able to speak in English perfectly, and made me feel very comfortable. I was also in pain and they saw me the same day that I got in touch. Furthermore, all the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend Centro Dental Smiling and will definitely be going back if I need to!

I was spending some days in Madrid and thought I could visit a dental hygienist since I had some downtime.
The treatment was rushed, and no care put in it.
I left with significant parts of the gums bleeding due to cuts - this has never happened to me before.
The teeth had also not been particularly well cleaned.
It was truly incomprehensible to me that a place would treat patients so poorly.
The cleaning is suppose to last 45-60 min. It took less than 30 min. It cost me 70 EUR.
