Federal Café, Madrid

Buen ambiente. Aquí disfruté un rico té de menta poleo en una tarde muy lluviosa, que estuvo rico y reconfortante. También te sirven ricos cafés y variados pasteles.

Un detallazo. Pedimos un aperitivo caliente. Y se le paso, cuando llevábamos media hora se lo reclamamos. Se habian olvidado salio el jefe y nos dijo que por la tardanza nos invitaba él un detallazo y por cierto muy buenos los blinis.

Un lugar como otro cualquiera, de los muchos que hay en el centro de Madrid. Con platos para comer de lo más corriente, pero con ingredientes aparentemente sofisticados (una ensalada simplona aguada, compuesta de "mezclum y salsa de la diosa" y cosas por el estilo). Lo bueno, una terraza tranquila y bien ubicada.

No se puede reservar, es por orden de llegada!
La terraza está linda para desayunar o hacer brunch!
La comida y atención están bien, a veces tardar un poco en traerte la comida luego de ordenar!

The food is nice though and the spot if cute.
This café could be so nice if the staff was friendly. Unfortunately you feel unwelcome here, the waitresses look like you are bothering them every time you ask something. That’s too bad because for me that’s the essentials of hospitality.

Federal Café is a great place to work while drinking tasty beverages or eat good food - even veggie or vegan options are available. The place can get a bit noisy though. It is well-located and is a popular place so it might be busy/full at times. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Would advise to go!

I’ve been here a few times previously, yet today’s visit was very disappointing

Wifi very unstable: it kept disconnecting

My pineapple colada was 35% foam: disappointing mucho

I ordered fish and chips, very much looking forwards to some fish and a few chips to accompany. The dish is better described as chips and fish. Totally enormous portion of chips with some fish (I fear undercooked) on the side.

Uncomfortable seating outdoors.

Local en una agradable plaza que está muy cerca de la Plaza Mayor. Disponen de terraza e interior, con mesas para conectar el ordenador. El servicio fue muy amable y atento. Pedi un sándwich, que resultó ser de buen tamaño, bien preparado y con mucho relleno. Para beber un iced café. Los precios andan en la media de la zona.

Servicio pésimo, camarerxs con actitud muy negativa, tardan muchísimo y parece que te están haciendo un favor. A pesar de indicarlo en la página web de Sodexo, no aceptaron mis cheques restaurantes. Hay muchos sitios en Madrid y no hace falta ir a este:)

Trato muy decepcionante. Camareros muy bordes. No permiten el uso de dispositivos electrónicos los findes, justo cuando los estudiantes más necesitan un sitio para poder estudiar. No lo recomendaría.

Great breakfast/brunch spot in Madrid! The coffee is delicious, and all the food options are great. Highly recommend the French toast.

Fab Australian-style brunch restaurant serving all day brunch with very good eggs, bacon and only missing a sausage option. Fresh juices and Allpress (yes, Allpress from London) coffee. Friendly service and commendable laptop policy which keeps tables free for diners.

Nos tocó una camarera sin ánimos por atender, mesas sucias y mojito de garrafón, muy artificial a un precio bastante caro. Batidos ok.

Cafe insípido, trato regular y encima CARÍSIMO. No merece la pena, alrededor hay sitios muchísimo mejores en calidad, precio y trato.

Can't recommend this place enough. Everything we ordered there was sooo delicious. The location is great, the vibe is really cool, and the customer service couldn't be better. We were in a rush and they made sure to expedite our order for us to leave on time for our tour. Go there and you won't regret it!

Spectacular coffee and the food was generous and delicious. Nothing beats an Aussie brunch and to have it in Madrid is a bonus!

Los huevos Benedict han sido espectaculares! Muy recomendables, acompañados siempre de nuestro amigo el aguacate!

Carísisisisisisimo y me faltan eses e íes.
Vale que está en una plaza agradable y en una zona turística, pero un huevo revuelto 5,90 € y como complemento medio aguacate por 2,50 € me parecen, como poco, un timo.

The location is great for a relaxed brunch, situated in a quiet square not too far from the centre. The Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon are my personal favorite, and the roasted asparagus are a nice plus. I would definitely recommend the Bloody Marys. Go early to avoid queues. The service is good, however giving this place one less star because they do not accept Ticket restaurant cards.

Café y pasteles riquisimo el precio es bastante elevado pero para darte un capricho merece ma pena.
