26They can let you check out later just for extra 5 euro which is great after a night out when you wanna sleep a bit more. Very clean and spacious hostel with a lot of space to hang out, decent size bunk beds (I’m 2 m tall so I’m always struggling) and security. Definitely a place to come back
Magnífico hotel en pleno centro de Madrid. Hotel perfecto para viajes de instituto o una escapada de fin de semana o una semana como mucho ya que sus habitaciones son bastante pequeñas pero suficiente como para disfrutar de Madrid una semanita. Instalaciones nuevas y bien conservadas con bar televisión zona común zona de videojuegos jacuzzi y terraza con bar de copas en la azotea de este. En cuanto a calidad-precio podría ser uno de los mejores hoteles en pleno centro de Madrid por su bajísimo coste por noche.
The space is well designed and the rooftop is a huge perk. Generator feels way more like a business and way less like a home away from home. Meaning, they don't seem to care about comfortability or hospitality. The biggest issue I had is they don't allow outside food in the space. One of the staff was nice and allowed me to use my own almond milk, because of allergies. And of course, you can purchase food from the restaurant only. There's no kitchen area, refrigerator, or laundry. The front desk offered things for purchase; shampoos, locks, etc. - all were a bit pricey. Not bad for a place to crash, but I wouldn't spend my money here again.
Considero que lo pagado en comparación a otras experiencias que he tenido fue un precio alto. La habitación demasiado pequeña para 4 personas (familia). Las instalaciones comunes como bar y restaurante muy agradables. Quizás un hostel no es para mis gustos.
Although Generator is famous as a hostel, but we staying for one night in a double bedded room just to experience the vibe. We totally loved it. They have number of facilities available under the same room from playstations to jacuzzi to club. The staff were very friendly and helped us with any query we had. Definitely recommended even if you are travelling with your partner.
