Nada recomendable

Worst experience of my life. Dirty, overpriced, rude staff, illegal practices

If I would be able to give a 0, I would. Trust me if I say that the reviews telling a story about a horrible, horrible time here, are true.

Although Salamanca is called the richest barrio in Madrid, nothing is less true when you enter this dorm room. It starts with the smell of cigarette smoke.the girls are only allowed to smoke in their own room, NOT the common areas like the kitchen or bathrooms, but they do and no one of the staff even cares.

When I arrived, the hostess or landlord (I don't even know what she is) gave me a key, sent me to my room and would 'stop by'. This stopping by involved 3 seconds, without any explanation or info from her part. The only purpose was for me to ask questions, but when I did ask something she either didn't understand or she didn't really want to answer. 'contact me on WhatsApp' well okay then.

There was dirt on the floor of my room and HAIRS of the former resident. I stayed there for 1 whole week and they still were there. How much I asked for cleaning equipment to do it myself or for the cleaning staff to do it.nothing ever happened.

In the weekends the cleaning staff didn't clean and the other girls were SO dirty. So the kitchen table was gross, sticky, covered in grease and what more.

Also at midnight, everyone had to be quiet. Some people, like me, had to get up at 6 to go to work, being ever so quiet. Not that the other girls even deserved me to be quiet.they often stayed up (their problem, not mine) until 3 4 5 am, but what WAS my problem, was them making excessive noise, like loud and keeping people from sleeping.

After this horrible week I was so sleep deprived, that I called girls from my school in Belgium (we didn't even know each other very well) to ask to spend my weekend there and find accommodations elsewhere, I couldn't stay there a minute longer.

I messaged the hostess that I wouldn't be staying.read, but n answer. Real professional.

My month's rent was coming to an end and I returned to check for any left stuff (I knew I had packed everything, but you can never be too sure) and when I opened the door, there was another girl in the bed. In the room that I was paying for. I called the hostess in anger and she told me that all of my stuff was gone so she could rent it again. Not true, not legal, I had a week left that I PAYED for. But what was the point in arguing any more. I threw the key on the sticky kitchen table, left and am never ever ever planning on setting foot in that horrible place again.
