Hemos comido hoy aquí con nuestra perrita. Los bagels y el hummus estaban riquísimos, el local super tranquilo y la atención inmejorable. Gracias por todo, volveremos!

No llegué a pasar cinco minutos. Nunca he sido tratado tan mal en un local público. Desde el momento en que entramos una de las camareras nos hizo saber insistentemente que no éramos bienvenidos.

Tenía grandes expectativas, no sé si fue un mal día, un mal rato, o nos confundió con alguien más. Pero entiendo que siendo un lugar tan familiar la presencia de esa persona no es circunstancial. Y no me resultaría agradable. No volveré a su casa, hay más sitios de intercambio en Madrid.

Sinceramente sigo sin entenderlo.

Nice bar-library: on the upper floor there is a bar, while the stairs take you in the underground level that hosts a library. The place is quite small and gets crowded on Fridays for the quiz night: 4 themes for a total of 32 questions to play in teams and have fun (and be smart enough to win the prizes!). Super funny, in English (perfect for non-locals) and very useful to discover interesting facts while drinking a beer from the capital or a Spanish cider and eating a homemade tasty bagel.

Cerveza muy rica. Tomé un par de mimosas. Me atendieron muy bien y los camareros estuvieron muy atentos en todo momento.

Increíbles bagels y mimosas made in usa. Fantástico lugar con encanto para abstraerse leyendo tomando buen café rodeado de libros. Camareros y dueños muy profesionales y atentos al cliente siempre. Local siempre lleno de extranjeros con lo que el lugar es buen sitio para aprender inglés e intercambiar idioma. Muy recomendable!

Adicta a los bagels y mimosas. Los dueños y camareras son muy amables y simpáticos, así se cuida a la clientela:)

El mejor brownie de todo Madrid. El café muy rico y el personal muy agradable. Visita obligada para todos los amantes de los postres y café.

They organise language exchanges every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. They have a lot of international drinks and interesting books in different languages. The environment is wholy international.just go in and meet people!

Un gran descubrimiento. Comida deliciosa (café excelente), sitio acogedor y el personal estupendo. El dueño de detrás de la barra divertido y muy agradable. Repetiré y cien por cien lo recomiendo.

Me encanta el lugar, aunque no he disfrutado de los libros que tienen (muchísimos) si he aprovechado para brunchear con mi novia. Los bagels están de muerte y las mimosas refrescantes.

Great selection of second hand books.and you can have a beer and a bagel while browsing. The street level space is a bit oddly shaped/organized, lower level more straightforward (I believe they host language intercambios here). For me, it's a great after work spot.

Had been looking forward to going to this place after having read all the great reviews. My partner and I both, couldn't finish our coffee quickly enough, and leave, such was the attitude of the staff member behind the bar! Maybe this big North American guy was covering for the regular staff (?). Such a pity!

Local muy agradable especializado en bagels. Es un bar para tomar algo y practicar tu inglés. El precio y el trato son buenos. A destacar las mimosas, copa de cava con un chorro de zumo de naranja por 2€. Tiene dos plantas, la planta baja es una biblioteca con una gran colección de libros en inglés y sitios para sentarse, tomar algo y leer.

Nice and cozy. Good collection of craft beers and the usual beverage for fair prizes. Beside the gastronomy, they have a huge selection of used english paperback (mostly) books downstairs.

Un grán descubrimiento, una librería - café con variedad de libros en ingés. Tienen una amplia carta de cervezas y a veces hay intercambio de idiomas.
Ideal para ir en verano, en la planta baja se está genial, aunque falta la luz natural.

A wide range of books in a basement downstairs but none that I actually felt like reading, and somehow almost no Spanish books.

Buen sitio para tomar algo, aunque pequeñito pero acogedor. Mucha variedad de cervezas pero nos la sirvieron caliente. Para gustos los colores. Lo recomiendo.

Lots of English speaking guests here. Obviously.

Beer is a little pricey compared to other places, but there is a good selection of bottled beers.

Oh man! Best bagels in town for sure! Bagel brunch may be my new weekend tradition, but I also learned they have bagels everyday too. Pictured is the garlic and sheep’s cheese bagel with chilies, bacon, and cream cheese.

Unique and cozy atmosphere, amazing food & incredibly friendly staff. I honestly couldn’t ask for more from this place, it is always an absolute delight when I make trip to visit. I highly recommend their fresh bagels made in house daily - which come with cream cheese, chives & potato chips. I particularly love the Pesto & cheese, but their Jalapeño and cheese is their most popular. Wonderful service where all of the staff speak English and are so warm and friendly.it’s quite a popular expat hang out. They also hold intercambios in their bookstore downstairs a few nights a week! One of my favorite places in Madrid to get a slice of home.
